Shake, Rattle & Roll is a Filipino horror film series dating back to 1984. It is currently produced by Regal Films. Most of the series are official entries for the Metro Manila Film Festival with the exception of the sixth installment which premiered in January 1997. The title is solely based on the song of the same name.
This horror film franchise which is currently owned by Regal Films is known to be the only film series in the Philippines with the most movie installments. The first installment was released under the defunct Athena Productions while all the succeeding series are produced by Regal Entertainment. As of 2011, there are thirteen installments of the movie series.
This was so scary, this little girl who was killed in the witch trials brings back the dead for her revenge, and near the end she looks like she's made out of plasma or something, it scared the heck outta me.
Those zombies nearly scared the living daylights out of me when I first went to see it on the big screen.
Not scary at all
Not scary funny - cadespencer
How did this movie not make it on the list? This movie is one of the best suspenseful and scary movies I have ever seen flat out.
Sci-Fi scary! Moody, dark anticipation. Evil loss of humanity from the lead character, and mental trauma.V 1 Comment
Seriously, people? I've seen The Conjuring, The Ring (when I was 9) and many of those films in the TOP 50 of this list, and none of them could touch Black Swan. It's just so frightening because she is afraid of herself. And it's all just so well made and artistic and the atmosphere is so beautifully crafted..
And all those horrible scenes, like when Wiona Ryder stabbed herself in the face. That's the only scene in the history of film that I couldn't watch.
This is by far the scariest film I've seen. I'm mean, films like The Conjuring are fun because they are filled with jump-scares and you feel enterntained and pumped when they are over. But I couldn't sleep well for 4-5 days after seeing Swan, and I can't say this for any other film.
Scariest movie ever. The atmosphere. Wiona stabbing herself in the face. It's the only scene in the history of film that I couldn't watch.
It's really a shame that there are so many out-dated films in the top 50 like Jaws, Psycho, Halloween, Alien, etc. and this isn't there.
Out of all the new horrors from the TOP 10 I've seen The Conjuring and The Ring, and both of those films combined can't touch the Swan because it potrays a decline into madness from the point of the mad person.
I couldn't sleep well for 4-5 days after seeing it and I can't say that for any other movie. And beyond all, it's a true masterpiece. So beutifully crafted...
This film is way too scary and intense for kids. I would not ever show my kids this because of how frightning it is. I'm not even lying. Go watch the movie yourself and see what I mean.
Not scary what are you talking about

Somebody has some serious issues! First, Iron Man 3 Now this!

The part with the feather gave me nightmares for years!
I was scared out of my wits with this one!
This was a fun movie, not really a scare type movie.V 2 Comments
Who is on enough drugs to even consider this a horror film?
The reason Star Wars A New Hope is on here is because of that one scene where the Death Star destroyed Alderaan, you know that billions of lives were on it and they were taken in that moment, you don't see anything like that on The Exorcist do you?
Not a scary one, But hey look the Whinny Kid Again! wawawa
