The Contenders: Page 3
Let me explain. Out of all of Tool's songs this one on this list? What about songs like Vicarious? This song is about a lame, quiet man (a friend of the band) who is only exciting and can only strike up a a good conversation while he is either drunk or high. 'Jesus won't you try and whistle' meaning "God this guy is boring"V 1 Comment

Don't get me wrong people. I love this song! I think it's awesome. It's just that I find it kinda unsettling. How the creepy music's playing and how the lyrics are "some of them want to abuse you, some of them want to be abused."

This song reminds me of creepy clowns. The intro just reminds me of clowns so much. I always think of clowns when I hear this song. It's pretty creepy. The rift, the lyrics, the screams. All very creepy indeed but not a creepy as Iowa - SirSkeletorThe3rd
According to the band, whoever understands this song's meaning understands "the Clown". Acording to Shawn "Clown" Crahan himself the clown represents a lot of thing, among them is his death. God Damn!V 2 Comments
NuRse wItH WoUnd is one of the creepiest things I've heard of in my entire life! Avant-Garde noise is definitely not for everyone!
I think getting into his mind during the making of this album would be a bit frightening. Don't look so much at the lyrics themselves but where it is coming from. That makes this top of the list for me. I have most of Trent's work on cd but this one is a bit different - Johnnyt800
So much blood for such a tiny little hole.
The freaky sound effects, the weird musical notes and scales, the lyrics, the screaming, the somewhat lo-fi and unusual sound quality, the overall backstory.
This song is so insane! It may not be really sad, like KoRn's "Daddy", but it's just a compilation of Corey Taylor's thoughts and screaming, really, really loud. When I listen to it, I imagine it's the inside of his mind, basically.
The beginning is creepy with that piano, but the rest of the song is just your average Avenged Sevenfold rock song - Tylerlangford1234
