The Top Ten

1 Daniel Tammet

This list inspires me so much. I have a little brother with autism, and seeing people like this makes me believe in him. Maybe he can't talk or read or write. But he's perfect the way he is. I love you Joey. Love your older sister Laura.

2 Albert Einstein Albert Einstein Albert Einstein was a German-born theoretical physicist who developed the theory of relativity, one of the two pillars of modern physics. His work is also known for its influence on the philosophy of science.

Einstein talked about creativity, and he had a unique way of looking at things. As an autistic woman who loves writing and drawing (and isn't half bad at math either), it's exciting to see other deep thinkers embrace both sides of the brain and use their imaginations. People assume autistic people have zero imagination, but I find the opposite: some of the most creative people I know are autistic.
