210 Tinie Tempah

Tinie tempah is awesome. Just because he's british doesn't mean he can't rap

One of the only modern artists who doesn't deserve to be here.

I love Tinie Tempah

211 Linkin Park Linkin Park Linkin Park is an American rock band formed in Agoura Hills, California, in 1996. The members include Chester Bennington (vocals), Mike Shinoda (rapping vocals, pianist), Brad Delson (guitar), Dave "Phoenix" Farrell (bass), Joe Hahn (DJ) and Rob Bourdon (drums). Linkin Park are associated with a mixture more.

Basically, Linkin Park have a status to me what many pop artists are to others. Bad.

Why? Because they're not unique. They don't provide anything new; or at the very least anything interesting. They provide angst, specifically immature teenage angst, which I absolutely can't stand. It's extremely prevalent in their lyrics, and especially in Chester's vocals. Mike, at the very least, provided a break from the angst, but he was featured less and less as time went by.

Their production, at the very least, got interesting as time went by. I can appreciate the direction they took, because anything experimental isn't necessarily going to be awful. But sadly, they didn't do the experimental shtick well. In fact, they did it atrociously, with the bad production being overshadowed by extremely angsty politics about nuclear war. When they tried to bring back their old style, it felt extremely bland and vanilla; they were trying to play it safe.

I mean, they were commercial ...more - SwagFlicks

Why would put them on here?! They're better than Justin Bieber.

212 Evanescence Evanescence Evanescence is an American rock band founded in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1995 by singer/pianist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody.

Evanescence is better than pop music (except for Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry), but Kelly's more of a "hybrid". At least, they can sing unlike Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.

The reason she's seen as a great singer is because she can A. carry a tune for the longest time, B. Actually has so many notes in her range, just doesn't use all of them, and C. Her voice is amazing, and is perfect for her music genre. - The_Guy_With_That_One_Name

I think a Linkin Park fan or an annoying pop lover put this great band on a list that doesn't deserve to be. - spodermanfan1000

215 Venom Venom Venom are an English extreme metal band formed in 1979 in Newcastle upon Tyne. Coming to prominence towards the end of the new wave of British heavy metal, Venom's first two albums—Welcome to Hell and Black Metal—are considered a major influence on thrash metal and extreme metal in general.

Who the hell put venom on the list?

Metallica wouldn't have existed without these guys.

Doubt that, since Metallica was made only 4 years after these guys formed. - EliHbk

Shouldn't be on here.

216 Slayer Slayer more.

The fact that people actually think that Slayer is a crappy band proves with absolute finality that people who listen to mainstream pop music, that they try to distinguish but fail by calling it hip-hop, rap, or some other mix-up of stupid words, are being brainwashed by the media giants. Slayer is one of the most influential and famous thrash metal bands, ranking amongst the "Big Four" of thrash metal, that also includes Metallica, Anthrax, and Megadeth. (Also, to mention, if anyone has the nerve to post them on this list too, I will rock up at your house, tie you down, skin you alive, then eat you limb by limb. )

Metal is not all satanic, unlike what the average brainless dip thinks. Metal is one of the most difficult types of music to play. It has over a thousand Sub Genres, which, unlike pop, can generally be distinguished from another. It takes absolutely no talent to rip a demo track from Mixcraft, and auto tune some crappy lyrics to it, which, to the surprise ...more

I agree with everything you said. Plus Tom Araya (the lead singer of Slayer) is Christian.

Want me to explain something to teenyboppers? Okay.
First off: Tom Araya is Catholic and doesn't let Slayer lyrics tear his faith. He even is willing to vocalize the lyrics.
Second: "South Of Heaven", the song itself; discusses the demoralization of American culture and discusses how unprepared we are for Judgement Day.
Third: Slayer has very serious lyrics, from the atrocities of war (Mandatory Suicide, Behind The Crooked Cross, Eyes Of The Insane) to the chaos in the world (South Of Heaven, Disciple).
Fourth: It takes skill to play guitar like Jeff Hanneman and Kerry King, and it takes skill to play drums like Dave Lombardo.

Slayer is the best thrash metal band next to Metallica

I used to like slayer when I was 14 - 16. Definitely the best of the big 4. I don't really like anything new they have done
