Top 10 Videos That Ruined a YouTuber's Reputation
Specific videos that ruined a YouTuber's reputation overnight, whether it was a terrible "apology" video or a drama video that has aged like sour milk. If I missed something, feel free to add it. It can be either a video they published themselves or one someone else made about them.

Hi - Colleen Ballinger
Probably the most infamous example that comes to mind right off the bat. She failed to debunk any of the allegations levied against her, and instead of taking responsibility, chose to victim-blame her victims and write a terrible ukulele song with gaslight-y lyrics, a song so heinous that even MatPat roasted her at the Streamy Awards for it.

My Response - KonekoKitten
General rule of thumb: if you ever see a video titled "My Response," it's always a red flag. This is no exception either, given the context of what transpired and what was pulled off. I'm genuinely flabbergasted at how any content creator could post a response this terrible and not think it gives them a bad look. There are reuploads of it you can find, if you want to wince enough, but major yikes all around.

Debating JonTron - JonTron
This wasn't a video that JonTron published on his channel, but I feel that it's worth including. Trying to watch this video is painful, not just because it's political, but because it's clear as day that JonTron doesn't know what he's talking about and is pulling sources out of thin air.
I don't really care for Destiny as a person, but I have to give credit where it's due here because he very obviously won this debate without even trying too hard. In fact, you could even make the argument that they're both terrible people, and I wouldn't refute that. Jon, throughout this whole debate, sounds drunk, disoriented, and all over the place with his train of thought.

The Parlo Response - Internet Adjacent
Wolfgang and Parlo are both groomers and pieces of human garbage as far as I'm concerned. This video, while shorter than Parlo's slopfest, is a very manipulative, poorly put-together hit piece that fails to leave a mark. It's like a piece of trash trying to argue against a garbage bag; that's the best way I can describe it.

My Response - Parlo
I swear, between Minecraft YouTubers and Roblox YouTubers, I can't tell which ones are more cursed and morally depraved because it's pretty neck and neck. A three-hour slopfest that consists of the guy criticizing someone he had a fling with, while downplaying the fact that he scammed his fans for a false GoFundMe, tried to date a thirteen-year-old, and was trying to hook up with a third party at the same time this all went down.
If you're going to make a response video to serious allegations, it shouldn't be longer than an hour. Hell, more than thirty minutes might be excessive. After he addresses the Wolfgang stuff, he resorts to calling out other people to simply pad the runtime, and it adds nothing meaningful.
-
Clearing the Air - Mini Ladd
This was the video that single-handedly nuked this guy's career without question. I was never a fan of his content, and even when he was in the Vanoss Crew, he struck me as the least funny and interesting person of the bunch. This "apology," if you can even call it that, mostly consists of him focusing more on his mental health instead of acknowledging the harm he inflicted on his victims.

No, Left-Wing Art Is Not Mentally Ill / A Response to Remnant777 - Remnant777
An articulately crafted video that calls out Remnant's hypocrisies in great detail. As a result of this, Remnant would delete the videos mentioned in Anthony's response to him, causing him to lose quite a bit of views and revenue. He also lied, claiming that Anthony Gramuglia had copyright struck his channel, which was vehemently false. He would follow this with an even worse response video that's laughably bad.

WatchMojo's Downfall Should Be Celebrated - WatchMojo
A fairly well-put-together video that calls out WatchMojo for their lazy content and what led to their sharp decline over the years. WatchMojo didn't respond well to this criticism and had the crash-out of the century, making a comment that was snide and out of touch. They would also go on to publish a video about crash-outs. I think it might've been deleted or unlisted. I'm not sure, but the point still stands.
-
Doing Better - Jonochrome
I guess you could technically make the argument that his reputation was already destroyed before this video was published. Which would be fair, but it still did little to fan the flames at all, and if anything, further cemented his status as a washed-up content creator who can't understand the age of consent. Enough said.

The Truth About Gwamgo - Gwamgo
