Top 10 Funniest YouTube Channels

When it comes to getting a good laugh, YouTube is the place to go. Over the years, the platform has become home to some of the funniest content creators who know exactly how to make you laugh out loud, spit out your drink, or keep you giggling through a bad day. The variety of humor is unreal - whether you're into clever skits, ridiculous challenges, absurd characters, or just straight-up goofy randomness, YouTube has it all.

This list is full of channels that consistently deliver top-tier comedy, and now it's your chance to decide which ones deserve to be crowned the funniest.
The Top Ten
1 Nigahiga Ryan Higa, born June 6, 1990, best known as his YouTube username nigahiga, is an American comedian, YouTube personality, and actor. He's best known for his comedy videos, which have been viewed over 3 billion times. His channel was once the most subscribed on YouTube from 2009-2011, longer than any... read more

Nigahiga is incredibly funny. He has an amazing personality, and not just that, the amount of effort that he puts into every video should definitely earn him way more subscribers than he already has. Every video he posts is original and fun to watch.

You never know what to expect until you watch the end of his videos, and it never gets tiring watching him because he's just a fun and spontaneous person.

Nigahiga is one of the most creative, energetic, and most of all, funny YouTubers! He puts so much effort into making his videos, and even though he only posts one video a week, it's always worth it because of his downright hilarious content.

And his Roast Yourself Challenge? Unlike other YouTubers, he actually takes a better route and tries to make YouTube drama better - of course, in a funny way.

2 ShaneDawsonTV Shane Lee Yaw (born July 19, 1988), known professionally as Shane Dawson, is an American YouTuber, writer, comedian, actor, director, musician, and media personality who began making Youtube videos in 2008. He became one of the first people to rise to fame on the video-sharing platform YouTube.

I absolutely love Shane Dawson. He is 100% the funniest and most entertaining YouTuber ever. He makes you laugh through all of his videos. He does swear a lot, but that doesn't change the scoreboard. Shane makes you laugh with everything he says.

If you have not watched his videos, what have you been doing with your life?! He is #Blessed.

I know he gets a lot of hate for his questionable content, but he is one of the only people I actually laugh at. I mean, out loud.

My parents must think I'm insane, laughing in my room at 2 in the morning.

3 Angry Video Game Nerd (Cinemassacre) James Duncan Rolfe is an American actor, comedian, filmmaker, film and video game critic, and internet personality, best known for starring in the web television series The Angry Video Game Nerd, a joint production of Rolfe's Cinemassacre Productions, GameTrailers, and ScrewAttack.

How can PewDiePie be number one when James Rolfe is number five? James is genuinely funny. I first started watching him five years ago and none of his videos are any less entertaining after all this time. I have never once gotten a laugh out of PewDiePie.

Even though all of his stupid 9-year-old fans, which make up 75% of his 56,000,000 subscribers, say his reactions are genuine, he forces them out to get views. All he does is recycle the same horrible content with slight variations, like a different game. Otherwise, it's the same unfunny, unoriginal garbage over and over again.

Markiplier used to be funny in 2010. Oh my God, he used to be so funny! Now he has the exact same problems as PewDiePie, only nowhere near as bad.

4 Filthy Frank George Kusunoki Miller (born September 18,1992), better known professionally as Joji and formerly known on YouTube as Filthy Frank and Pink Guy, is a Japanese American R&B singer, comedian, songwriter, rapper, and former YouTuber.

It's hard to believe such a politically incorrect channel could have so many dedicated fans, but when you analyze it, it all makes sense. Filthy Frank is the most humorous how-to guide out there, with each video being a do-not on how to be a productive member of society. Sure, it may seem like a string of edgy jokes, but there's always an underlying message.

Meanwhile, on the side, Filthy Frank creator George Miller has some musical talent, both as himself and his comedic alter egos, as seen by his SoundCloud account, as well as his more famous music career under the alias of his most memetic character on the Filthy Frank channel: Pink Guy. Heck, his second album under the alias, Pink Season, hit number 70 on the Billboard 200, which is impressive for a living meme that is viewed by the common folk of society as an offensive psycho.

In short, this channel is a masterpiece of postmodern comedy.

5 PewDiePie Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg (born October 24, 1989), better known by his online alias PewDiePie, is a Swedish web-based comedian video producer, and commentary channel. He is best known for his Let's Play commentaries and Vlogs on YouTube. He is known for being the most subscribed-to YouTuber on the website... read more

He's the kind of YouTuber that acts so genuinely about how he feels (when he's scared, entertained, etc.) and is so animated in how he shows it that everything he does is extremely successful on YouTube because of how funny his reactions are!

People always ask, "Why would you watch someone play video games when you could just play them yourself?" But it's not always about the video game. It's about the reaction of the person playing and the funny narrative that comes along with it. That's why PewDiePie is number one, mostly just because of his personality!

6 JonTronShow

JonTron has humor playing nonstop in his videos. He has the finest, most precise, and perfectly timed jokes in all of YouTube. Putting him this far down is a slap in the face to his legacy.

I mean, he started Game Grumps. Get real with that.

I'm surprised JonTron is not on this list! His comedic commentary on a wide range of good and bad games is absolutely hilarious. His videos have high "rewatchability," so you'll find yourself going back to his videos when you're sad or just need a good laugh!

He's just one SWOOD GUY...!

7 GradeAUnderA

Simply the best roaster on YouTube. He makes fun of and criticizes YouTubers with logical arguments in the funniest manner possible.

Channels like GradeAUnderA and h3h3productions should be way higher on this list.

With Microsoft Paint and Movie Maker at his disposal, he makes some of the funniest videos ever. You'll binge-watch his videos in one day.

"Why is there such a thing as girly drinks and manly drinks?" Grade once said. I think he is one of the best YouTubers of all time.

8 Markiplier Mark Edward Fischbach (born June 28, 1989), known online as Markiplier, is an American YouTube personality. Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, he began his career in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is currently based in Los Angeles, California.

Mark is my favorite YouTuber, beating out PewDiePie, simply because he doesn't get stale as PewDie sometimes does (still love him). The mishmash of faux manliness and bravery instantly crumbling into hysterics and swearing can always crack a smile in me, no matter what mood I'm in. The personal connections he has with his viewers are awesome.

Love it. This is the kind of guy I would love to have as a best friend.

Markiplier is definitely one of my favorites. To the other people who are commenting, why do you keep bringing up PewDiePie? Bringing him up is pointless.

Anyway, Markiplier's videos are all extremely funny, and I recommend him to anyone who hasn't watched his videos.

9 Jenna Marbles Jenna Nicole Mourey, better known by her pseudonym Jenna Marbles, is an American former YouTube personality, vlogger, comedian, and actress.

Jenna is a genuinely funny YouTuber - let alone person. She is basically a silent trendsetter that will make you laugh and keep you excited for a new video every week.

She has an impressive personality because she shows respect towards different opinions, enjoys various trendy jokes - and developed them - shows true, genuine love for her fans (or as she insists on being called, her "friends"), her loved ones, and her dogs. She is overall a very good person.

She reminds me of how I used to crack everyone up. I'm her age but have four babies!

I love Jenna and Julian, too. She really just makes my day better because I get to just laugh!

10 Miranda Sings Miranda Sings is a fictional character, created on the Internet in 2008 and portrayed by American comedian, actress, and YouTube personality, Colleen Ballinger. This character first appeared on the Internet in 2008... read more

Miranda is amazing! I really love her videos so much. She is super funny! I always enjoy her videos.

She is so animated, dumb, and crazy. I love her because of how humorous she is and acts clueless. It's funny!

She should be much higher!

If you think Miranda on camera is funny, check out her new book, Self Help. Very funny.

The Contenders
11 Onision Gregory James Daniel (born November 11, 1985), is a controversial American YouTuber. His primary YouTube channel, "Onision", featured sketches and satirical clips; videos posted to his other channels focus on personal stories covering controversial topics as well as discussion with his viewers. His... read more

This small man ends up being the funniest YouTube user due to his unbelievable amount of delusion and hypocrisy. A sociopath like him, who gets extremely upset by "hateful" comments, or just comments that question his warped perception of political issues like vegetarianism, rape, and relationships (in which he is absolutely hopeless), is truly remarkable.

It often comes to the point where he is such a dictator among his viewers that he censors everything but comments saying, "I love you, Onision." He is very likely to end up in a mental hospital before he turns 30. Thank you, Gregory James Daniel, AKA Onision.

12 Smosh Smosh is an American sketch comedy YouTube channel created by Ian Andrew Hecox and Daniel Anthony Padilla. Anthony Padilla created a website called smosh.com in 2002. He was later joined by his friend Ian Hecox.

It's the most awesome channel I have ever seen. They have all kinds of variety that you won't find anywhere.

They somehow never fail to amaze me.

It's got everything, and the comedy is pure hilarious. It's got loads of random stuff and is really entertaining.

He is pure funny! Pokemon in Real Life 5 with Chespin's curse attack made me laugh so hard I had to stop the video to recover!

Very funny YouTuber!

13 GloZell

GloZell's videos make me laugh when sometimes I just need to laugh. Her videos are the type that just pick someone up when they're at their lowest, including myself.

She's just a great YouTuber.

Without a doubt, GloZell is one of the funniest, most original people on the planet!

There hasn't been a video I have watched by her that I haven't laughed at!

14 Good Mythical Morning

I love Rhett and Link so very much! Keep voting so this can be at number one forever.

This show is hilarious, clean, and everyone should watch it.

Love this show. Family-friendly and hilarious!

15 Idubbbz

I used to watch people like Nigahiga and PewDiePie, but ever since my friend showed me Idubbbz, it's all I watch. The only reason he's not higher on this list is because of how controversial and offensive he is.

Easily the funniest person on the internet right now, let alone on YouTube. His delivery and editing make me laugh until I can't breathe.

So damn funny, especially in his Content Cop videos. Just watch his Toy Review Content Cop - you'll laugh so much.

16 ADoseofBuckley

I love this guy! I'm surprised to see him at number 8. His Worst Songs of 20XX, Scumbags of the Internet, and Musical Autopsy videos are my favorites!

Everything this guy says is pure gold. It's just too bad that society rewards mediocrity like Fred or Ray William Johnson and ignores people of quality scripted comedy that is not only hilarious but original and coined from a man of pure talent.

He makes fun of everything and everyone that is making the world a bad place.

17 Shanna Malcolm

She is super genuine and awesome. Even though it can get inappropriate sometimes, she is amazing, and I feel like she deserves to be a lot more popular than she is.

(That said, I do think Nigahiga deserves number one on this list, because he always puts so much effort into his videos and is an awesome guy).

Whenever I'm feeling down, I always watch one of Shanna's videos. She has such a boss-ass personality and always knows how to make me smile.

18 Epic Rap Battles of History

They're so funny. My favorite is Mr. T vs. Mr. Rogers.

19 How It Should Have Ended

These are brilliant. When you're watching a movie, you often wonder why the characters don't do this, and this show explores it.

Plus, they're funny. Can't go wrong with that.

How It Should Have Ended is funny. It makes you think that if the characters did that, nothing bad would happen.

Come on! This is number one. It shows the stupidity of movies in hilarious ways.

20 H3h3Productions

They have to be number one. They make me laugh all the time. Papa bless.

They are the funniest YouTubers of all time, man!

Number 30, Ethan? Really? He is the funniest person I've ever seen on YouTube!

21 HowToBasic HowToBasic is an Australian YouTube comedy channel that is part of the Fullscreen network, with over 14 million subscribers.

If anyone doesn't know, HowToBasic gets money from YouTube to buy all that food. And he must have a big clean-up after his videos.

He's extremely funny!

So funny. His videos are so childish, but they are so funny. Please just go and watch him.

22 PeanutButterGamer

I love how funny he is, and I'm so glad he doesn't swear. He's one in a million. He needs to be higher on the list.

Wait, he's only number 89? But he's the god of comedy, especially the Putt-Putt videos.

He is funnier than all 100 ahead of him. No question about it.

23 Jacksepticeye Seán William McLoughlin, born February 7, 1990, better known by his online pseudonym Jacksepticeye, is an Irish YouTube personality, known primarily for his comedic Let's Play series and vlogs. His most popular series include Happy Wheels, Five Nights at Freddy''s and Fortnite.

Why isn't he number one? This guy is funny, energetic, and in all of his videos that I have seen, he gives great advice that I use all the time! This guy should at least be on the first page!

I mean, come on! You had to have at least heard of him! And everybody says that they don't like him, but they haven't seen one of his videos. I showed my friend one, and now we are both hooked! Jack, if you see this, you're a boss!

How's Jack not in first place? He's THE most epic, funny, and entertaining YouTuber EVER.

Jacksepticeye makes me laugh when I'm sad, and he respects his viewers and subs like his best friends. Sean, if you can see this, remember: SPEED IS KEY!

24 Danisnotonfire

He makes everyone feel better about themselves by sharing his life, dark or happy as it is. He is also really funny and will make your parents ask why you're smiling at your phone.

Dan is terrible at posting videos, but the wait is definitely worth it. His videos are some of the funniest ones on YouTube, yet I can still relate to them.

He is kind and always makes you laugh, and can relate to you in several ways. He also stumbles into so many awkward yet hilarious situations.

25 ConnorFranta

He is so relatable. I love watching him. If I ever start a YouTube channel, I want to share my feelings like him.

He is really funny. He makes me laugh all the time, and I really look forward to Mondays for his new video.

But what I love the most is Our2ndLife, his collab channel. ConnorFranta is so funny, and I subscribed!

He always makes me smile, makes me happy if I've had a bad day, and makes his fans feel like family!

Connor is my true inspiration.
