1 Mantis Mantis is a fictional character, a superheroine appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Steve Englehart and Don Heck, and has been portrayed by Pom Klementieff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This character was one we didn't have very much screen time with, but her death was sad nonetheless.

2 Groot Groot is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Larry Lieber and Dick Ayers, the character first appeared in Tales to Astonish #13. An extraterrestrial, sentient tree-like creature, the original Groot first appeared as an invader that intended to capture humans for experimentation. Groot is part of the superhero team The Guardians of the Galaxy. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is portrayed by Vin Diesel.

Poor Baby Groot...

3 Scarlet Witch Wanda Maximoff, also known as the Scarlet Witch, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is portrayed by Elizabeth Olsen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She is thought to be one of the most powerful people in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and can control things with her mind. Her powers are a result of experiments by Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker, who used Loki’s scepter to give her and her brother Pietro Maximoff AKA Quicksilver, their powers. 4 Spiderman Spider-Man is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics existing in its shared universe. The character was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko, and first appeared in the anthology comic book Amazing Fantasy #15 (August 1962) in the Silver Age of Comic Books. In films, Spider-Man has been portrayed by actors Tobey Maguire (2002–2007), Andrew Garfield (2012–2014) and Tom Holland (2016–present), who has portrayed the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2016.

He was easily one of the most recognizable superheros to ever exist. Shame that he died..

5 Black Panther T'Challa, better known as the Black Panther, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1966, first appearing in Fantastic Four #52 (cover-dated July 1966) in the Silver Age of Comic Books. He is known to be the first black superhero in mainstream American comics and hails from the fictional African country of Wakanda. The character has been portrayed by Chadwick Boseman in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This hero was one of my favorites, and they had to go and kill him off.

6 Doctor Strange Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange, best known under his alias Doctor Strange, is a fictional superhero created by artist Steve Ditko and writer Stan Lee appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Doctor Strange serves as the Sorcerer Supreme, the primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats. He has been portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Mentored by The Ancient One, Former Sorcerer Supreme, He discovered the Kamar-Taj- Where he trained to be a sorcerer- after his hands are horrifically injured in a car accident.

This wonderfully weird wizard was killed in his second movie debut, like Black Panther.

7 star lord Star-Lord is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character, created by Steve Englehart and Steve Gan, first appeared in Marvel Preview #4. Chris Pratt portrays the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe beginning with the 2014 live action film Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Avengers: Infinity War. He will also reprise the role in the fourth Avengers film. Wyatt Oleff portrays a young Peter Quill in the first two Guardians of the Galaxy films.

He was the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, which all died except Rocket Raccoon.

8 Loki Loki Laufeyson, or Loki Odinson, is a fictional character appearing in the American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is the adoptive brother and archenemy of Thor, and is known as the "God of Mischief". In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the character has been portrayed by Tom Hiddleston.

Though he was evil, I think that Thor's brother didn't deserve this, though none of these characters did.

9 Vision The Vision is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is an android and a member of the Avengers who first appeared in The Avengers #57. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is portrayed by Paul Bettany.

Scarlet Witch tried to keep the stone from Thanos... but it didn't work

10 Falcon and Winter Soldier Falcon is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Gene Colan, and introduced in Captain America #117. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is portrayed by Anthony Mackie.

These two were Captain America's best friends, and neither of them survived.
