Top 10 Movie Franchises That Need To End

Even though I enjoy this franchise, it needs to end! The first three were amazing, if they kept it there, it could’ve been one of the greatest trilogies! But then it need to had prequels and another sequel trilogy! Episode 9 comes out this December and I’m looking forward to it. But after that, they should end it. Because the new films kind of damage the original trilogy. The prequels added a bunch of plot holes. Like Leia saying that she remembers her mother when Padme died in childbirth. All of these plot holes takes away from a series which was really just complete own its own. I enjoy some of the new films like Force Awakens and Solo. Rouge One was okay, and The Last Jedi was bad. Hope they can end Episode 9 great!

End this franchise! It’s not doing it any service whatsoever! The first film was the only good film in the franchise, the rest were terrible! Every single one of these films are the same! Overuse of CGI, a sexy female character, explosions, bad dialogue, and bland characters! The reason why we keep getting these films is because they keep making money! This franchise should’ve stayed at least a trilogy and moved on with their lives! I don't get why these films are still being made! There was originally gonna be a seventh film coming out this year, but the film got pulled from the studio’s schedule. So that’s good! It shows the studio that Transformers isn't doing them service! At least Bumblebee was an improvement over the four films! By the way, I actually enjoyed Bumblebee. Even if I enjoyed two movies in this series, it needs to come to an end!

This film shouldn't have been a franchise in the first place. Now this franchise is one big cash grab. It’s pretty much dead at this point. Fallen Kingdom was the weakest film in this series. And there’s gonna be a third one in 2021. At least it’s the final one, though! Anyway, what made the original so great was the films’ mix of terror! The awe is what we reacted to seeing the dinosaurs for the first time and the terror is how the dinosaurs look! I enjoyed the first film and Jurassic World! The second one was alright, but I hated the third film. This franchise needs to go extinct.

This was a franchise that I actually loved in the past! The first three films were great! Then it went downhill after that! Collision Course is the worst Ice Age film! It pretty much shows that the writers have completely ran out of ideas! Why do we keep getting more Ice Age films? They should’ve ended after the third film. Because it ended Manny’s storyline of him getting a new family after his old one got killed in the first movie. But no, since the franchise is so successful, Fox forced Blue Sky to make the fourth and fifth! I feel bad for Blue Sky! They’re also tired of making these films! But thankfully, the fifth film bombed at the box office! That may be a clear sign for Fox to bury this franchise for good! Don't bring it back! I just want to remember the good films that they had, and not the crap that they turned into! It’s so sad to see what this franchise has become.

I agree. After 5 movies, you’d think that Blue Sky would stop making them! I doubt it. In about 20 years, they’ll probably be making Ice Age 9!

I don't know how there were this many sequels. Much like Transformers, every single one of these films are the same! It’s just action with no story! I actually only like Furious 7. Since it was directed by James Wan, who is a great director! These films keep making money, which is that’s why we’re still getting these films! There’s apparently gonna be a ninth and a tenth film coming out! At least the tenth will be the last one. Wait! There’s also gonna be spinoffs involving characters like Hobbs and Shaw. I bet this franchise is gonna get milked to the point where it ends in a depressingly low note. After eight movies, it needs to end.

The first movie was great. The sequels were pretty bad. Dead Men Tell No Tales says it all. The ending of that film leads to a sixth film. News reports say that the sixth film might be a reboot to the franchise. And unfortunately, it won't include Johnny Depp. This series needs to come to an end. Johnny Depp was easily the best thing in this franchise. Since Jack Sparrow is a really funny character. But in Dead Men Tell No Tales, they made him not too smart. Now this series is a cash cow at this point.

Every film in this franchise rehash elements from their predecessors. But I still enjoy this series. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was the worst in the series. It lacks the heart and soul of the first three movies. With uninspired, CGI-fueled action sequences that fail to deliver any thrills, and a very forced feeling between the characters. There’s gonna be a fifth one coming in 2021. At least Harrison Ford will reprise his role as Indy. He will be about 79 years old when it comes out. Hope it’s the last one in the series. Because this franchise has overstayed it’s welcome.

First two films were great, then the franchise started to get worse. The third and fourth film were bad, and the fifth was awful. It also not only got four sequels, but a T.V. Show, video games, even a ride! There’s gonna be a sixth film coming out this November, and it will be a reboot. It will also forget the events of Terminator 3-5. I hope this is the last film, though. Because it’s time for this franchise to get terminated!

This should’ve ended at two. We didn't really need a movie based on the Minions! And we didn't really need a third movie! The third film was good, but not as good as the first two. The Minions film was pointless. It was just the Minions being annoying as usual! What do you expect from the title “Minions”? We’re also getting a sequel to that in 2020 in July! Because this film managed to make one billion dollars! Thankfully, Incredibles 2 pushed them out! The third film also made a billion dollars! And it’s likely that we’re going to get a fourth film as well! We also have a buttload of merchandise! Which is probably why we got Minions and the third film! The series needs to take a breather.
