The Top Ten
1 Samurai Jack "Jack" (also known as Samurai Jack or simply The Samurai) is the alias taken by a Japanese warrior (with an unknown birth name) who acts as the titular protagonist of the cartoon Samurai Jack. Throughout the series, he is voiced by Phil LaMarr.

Samurai Jack is the definition of badass. A stoic, humble Lone Wolf who doesn't like fighting but will if he has to. He's a true hero in a selfless and noble way. A childhood favourite

The Samurai shall face his greatest challenge ever yet in the true series finale and conclusion to his 50-year journey.

Samurai Jack! He is one badass!

2 Aku Aku is a fictional character and the main antagonist of Samurai Jack, an American animated television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network.

"Long ago in a distant land, I, Aku, the shape-shifting master of darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil! But a foolish samurai warrior, wielding a magic sword, stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in time and flung him into the future, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to the past and undo the future that is Aku! "

Aku is one badass. No one messes with him.

Best villain the show

He makes this show.

3 Ashi Ashi was the deuteragonist of the fifth season of Samurai Jack, an American animated television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network. She was the former leader and the only confirmed living member of the Daughters of Aku, seven sisters who served as assassins attempting to kill Jack. It is only later that she came to have doubts about Aku's true nature after Jack saves her life and she makes a full turn-around when Jack shows her the destruction Aku has unleashed on the world.

Ashi was exactly what the series needed. Her redemption arc was both compelling and interesting to watch. She was a female lead done right rather than being relegated to a basic love interest with nothing other to her character.

I admire how this character, unlike Jack, was not raised to be honourable and generous as Jack was. Instead she defied her upbringing and made her own choices. That gave her a little more depth as a character than Jack for me.

Speaking of, I feel she allowed the writers to bring out more aspects of Jack's personality instead of the stoic character we've come to know.

It was an excellent move giving the series a secondary main character and Ashi is the perfect fit. Her backstory, development, character and role in their series make her an amazing character.

In a way, not only was season 5 about Jack's story, but it also became Ashi's story as well.

A beautiful example of a female lead turned from evil to good.

Amazing character, wished they introduced her at start of series

4 Josephine
5 The Scotsman The Scotsman is a fictional character who was an ally of Samurai Jack from the American animated television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network of the same name, who was first introduced in Episode XI: Jack and the Scotsman, Part 1. He is voiced by John DiMaggio.

Alive or dead, it's always a pleasure to see one as boisterous and hearty as The Scotsman himself.

That guy is so funny, like you have no idea (unless you've seen the show). every time he appears, everything becomes hilarious, same as his wife.

One of favorite.

6 The Sirens
7 Scaramouche Scaramuccia, also known as Scaramouche or Scaramouch, is a stock clown character of the Italian commedia dell'arte. The role combined characteristics of the zanni and the Capitano. In the 2017 revival of the animated series Samurai Jack, Jack encounters a robotic assassin named Scaramouche, who behaves flamboyantly in a manner not dissimilar from the stock character of his namesake.

One of the new characters that should of been there since the beginning. stop killing this guy off please

"Scaramouche the Merciless, the Pied Piper of Ruination, the Crooner of Carnage, the Ambassador of Annihilation, the Eradicator of All, baby.
Also known as Aku's most favorite assassin, babe."

Although she has been mentioned in other episodes, her first appearance was in Episode XVII: Jack and the Scotsman, Part 2. She was voiced by Ruth Williamson.

The Scotsman's Wife is badass.

14 Samurai Jack's Father

How to forget the first man who was able to beat Aku.

15 X-49

He makes Scaramouche look like Deadpool and himself like Logan.

Dude has a story that makes John Wick look like a knock off.

16 Demongo Demongo is a fictional character from Samurai Jack, an American animated television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network.

Demongo was actually a pretty badass character. Too bad he wasn't much of a use in the end, though.

19 The High Priestess
20 The Fairy
21 The Woolies

These Chritchellites tortured those poor woolies so badly. Good thing Jack saved them

The Imakandi got to be one of the most badass groups ever seen. They chased Jack very well, and were able to set him free afterwards

24 Mad Jack Mad Jack is a fictional character from Samurai Jack, an American animated television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network, and is the embodiment of Jack's inner darkness, temporarily given form by Aku to defeat him using his own skills against him. He made his first appearance in Episode VIII: Jack versus Mad Jack. He lost his physical form after Jack found peace within himself and caused him to disperse. When Aku destroyed the last remaining time portal, Jack's inner anger and frustration caused Mad Jack to resurface as Inner Jack, where he continued to antagonize Jack in his mind during most of Season 5.
25 Da Samurai

Nothing but a total fraud. It was satisfying seeing Samurai Jack teach this guy a thing or two about what it truly means to be a samurai.

This guy's just a jerk
