Top 10 Best Moments from Inside the NBA

Inside the NBA has officially ended, and we will miss the memories of Ernie, Charles, Kenny, and Shaq through all their hilarity.

Here are the top 10 funniest moments from the show.
The Top Ten
Charles Barkley kisses Kenny Smith's ass

During Yao Ming's rookie season, Charles Barkley made a wager that if Yao Ming scored 19 points (something that Yao hadn't done to that point) in a game, he would kiss Kenny Smith's ass.

Against the Lakers a few days later, Yao scored 20 points. But instead of kissing Kenny Smith's actual ass, Charles was forced to kiss Kenny Smith's "ass," which was a donkey named Kenny. Charles Barkley kissed the ass of the ass, and it drew laughter.

Charles Barkley vs. San Antonio women

Charles Barkley had a rivalry with the women of San Antonio due to some of the comments he made. While most of the comments were wrong, not all of them weren't hilarious.

Rockets-Clippers police incident

During the Rockets-Clippers game in 2019, a scuffle broke out on the court that continued into the tunnel postgame. Things had gotten so heated that police presence was needed. When Shaq and Charles heard that, they both went off and laughed, mimicking everyone. This included Charles making fun of Blake Griffin asking the police to protect him from Chris Paul.

Shaquille O'Neal trips while trying to race Kenny Smith

One recurring theme has Kenny Smith walk to the board to break down plays from that night's game. This segment has led to Shaq, and sometimes Charles and Ernie, trying to race Kenny to beat him to the board. On one such occasion, Shaq tripped on a wire and nearly destroyed the set.

"Kenny, give me some water?"

Kenny Smith's biggest thing is that he won two NBA titles as a player, but had the luxury of playing alongside one of the greatest NBA players ever in Hakeem Olajuwon. During one of his segments, Kenny was about to tell a story about what it's like to be a champion. When Kenny said, "Hakeem used to say this to me all the time?", Charles replied, "Kenny, give me some water?"

JaVale McGee continuously featured on Shaqtin' A Fool

Shaqtin' A Fool was Shaq's segment that featured NBA bloopers from the previous week. More often than not, NBA player JaVale McGee was featured on those segments because of his tall, lanky height and comedic plays, even when he tried his best. Every time JaVale McGee was on the show, you would hear Shaq say, "JAVALE MCGEE!"

Kenny Smith's jersey retirement

On a night where the NBA honored Reggie Miller by retiring his jersey with Indiana, the crew paid tribute to Magic Johnson and Charles Barkley on their jersey retirements. They also had a jersey retirement for Kenny Smith, which was actually hung on a laundry string. They used a Tracy McGrady Rockets jersey.

Shaquille O'Neal vs. Charles Barkley 3-point contest

Shaq and Charles Barkley competed in a quick three-point contest to determine who would win.

Shaq, who historically made one three-pointer throughout his career, made his first three-point shot in the contest and won.

"I'm a dumbass"

Ernie Johnson pranked Charles Barkley by having him read a teleprompter promotion for the NBA games. Unbeknownst to Charles, Ernie added a line (I'm a dumbass) that he hoped Charles would read, which Charles did, causing a lot of laughs.

Shaquille O'Neal and Kenny Smith gas debate

Sometimes, the crew would have debates over non-basketball moments. One such case was when Shaq and Kenny Smith got into a debate over when the best time was to refill your gas tank.

Shaq believed that it was best to refill the tank at halfway to pay $40 rather than $80. However, Kenny argued that you would make twice as many trips to the gas station, which means you would be saving no money at all.
