Best 3 Man Rock Bands

The Contenders: Page 2

21 Chevelle Chevelle Chevelle is an American rock band that formed in 1995 in the Chicago suburb of Grayslake, Illinois. The band was originally composed of brothers: Pete Loeffler, Sam Loeffler and Joe Loeffler.

Pete sings in a way that he doesn't need the words to rhyme to be catchy, he has to do it in other ways. you can notice it in the way his vocals often use alliteration and dynamic contrast. Their riffs are often catchy though simple. Sam is a pretty good drummer and the songs tend to start off simple with him but slowly he adds in more complicated fills and other drumming mechanics. Dean's bass part always compliments the guitar part and in cases of I Get It, it works perfectly with the drum part to create a unique experience. They keep getting better with every album

Pete's vocals, melodic riffs and insanely well written lyrics are unmatched by any band out there. It's a shame they're not as popular as sissy bands like nickelback.

Chevelle is just a bad ass three man band, that makes bad ass heavy American music!

28 The Aristocrats

They completely suck and NO one has ever heard more than one stupid song from this wannabe crap band. They shouldn't even be on this list with the greats that ARE listed and should be on here. Stupid band and worse name. Horrible! Ugh!

Greatest living 3 man group presently on earth

29 Morphine

A phenomenal band that never got the recognition it deserved while Mark Sandman was alive. It's never too late.

Bass, drums and sax (or two). And one of the best songwriters of his day. Needs to be MUCH higher on this list

They're the reason I came to this site.

Never got the airplay they deserved. A well rounded band. Sure, Rush is probably the best 3-man band... but Zebra sure needs to be noticed.

39 The Outfield

Better music than the ones before them on your list. Also Blackhawk beats the ones on your list also, EXCEPT, for ZZ Top, and Rush, maybe.
