41 Wolf Wolf Often in/from packs, Wolves are carnivorous Canines that come in various colours and breeds, and have evolved to Dogs. Some breeds of Wolves are, like Dogs, domesticated, to become a Working Dog.

No. These are WILD ANIMALS and do not belong in a house so do yourself and the wolf a favour and don't get one! Where do you even buy one? My guess is the black market. Although there is a type of dog called the wolf dog, those dogs aren't even recccomended as pets and can be very aggressive, same goes for an actual wolf so please DO NOT GET ONE

Yes please get a wolf its super easy. I have my wolf for 10 years and the only problem I ever was that the wolf ate my grandma

They WILL attack you at maturity. Stay CAUTIOUS

Please no. They are beautiful, but they are wild. - Emberflight_of_StormClan

42 Budgie

They are very loud, and assuming you don't mind that and you know what you're doing, they make great pets I'm just surprised that Budgies were placed BELOW wolves!

They can become really attached to you especially if you keep just one. Fun to play with and are very intelligent some say as intelligent as dogs or cats. You can even teach them tricks. Easy to maintain but you need to be responsible

They are cute I have 3 and when they all chirp it makes me feel really happy but... they do take lots of care

AWESOME

43 Serval

They require A LOT of space and I mean A LOT. Their instincts can come out and they could be a death wish

Great if you know how to handle hyperactive animals, once they get to know you they are more than twice as protective as a dog!

Sadly they are wild animals and never change behavior no matter what

I have 3 they are cute, easy to train and love you

44 Prairie Dog Prairie Dog Despite the name, they are not canines. Prairie dogs (genus Cynomys) are herbivorous burrowing rodents native to the grasslands of North America. The five species are: black-tailed, white-tailed, Gunnison's, Utah, and Mexican prairie dogs. They are a type of ground squirrel, found in the United States, ...read more.

Prairie Dogs are loveable animals that make great pets. They need lots of love and attention as they will get very sad if you abandon them or loose interest in them. With a healthy diet and a loveable home prairie dogs can live 12+ years. I'm going on my fourth one and I can say they truely rank up there with dogs and cats. Make sure to spayed or neuter your baby as it will be a more loveable and happy pet. Prairie Dogs should be on this list. Thank you.

Educate yourself and know what you're getting into, or else you will not enjoy these animals in your home. Assuming you know what you're doing and have the time and money to care for some, they should make nice pets!

They are lovable, sweet, affectionate, friendly, and get very attached to you! They just chew A LOT...

47 Squirrel Squirrel Squirrels are members of the family Sciuridae, a family that includes small or medium-size rodents. The squirrel family includes tree squirrels, ground squirrels, chipmunks, marmots, flying squirrels, and prairie dogs amongst other rodents.

They are amazing for pets I have one myself and they store nuts for the whole family

They are very cool to have, they are very cheeky and that is why they are a great pet.

I think they are so cute! But it's cruel to own one, they are wild animals.

yes

48 Shrimp

I know you think shrimp are boring but like fish, they are really fun to watch! They are pros when it comes to swimming! Why watch T.V. when you have tiny fish-like friends right in you pond, fish tank or fish bowl!

Literally one of the best pets ever feed them 3-4 days a week and you don't have to clean the water and you cn use any container

YAWN

You have a choice between these two: watch T.V and EAT shrimp, or save a shrimp and feed it? I would want to save one!

I think wombats are adorable. Just look at their cut faces and the next thing you know, you will be helping them

I doubt these thing are legal in most places

You can't have a pet wombat ( unless you count the one who lives under the house

50 Porcupines Porcupines Porcupines are rodentian mammals with a coat of sharp spines, or quills, that protect against predators.

Do NOT listen to the OTHER COMMENTS! They trust you an DO NOT feel threaten by you so they will not and I mean NOT use their prickles on you! I have one and it is actually very nice! They will only used their prickles if they feel threatened but they will NEVER do it to you! They will LOVE you!

These are not good pets, hedgehogs are but porcupines can shoot their prickles and they are much larger than hedgehogs

Cute but I heard they can be dangerous

THEY CAN NOT SHOOT THEIR PRICKLES!

51 Skunks

If you get their scent glands removed their like smaller cats

As long as you get the stink glands removed, skunks can be adorable and curious pets that require a lot of care but in the end, are worth it. - AsianBlood

Skunks are cuddly and cute! And don't stink if you get their scent glands removed.

Chop of your nose!

52 Sheep Sheep The sheep is a quadrupedal, ruminant mammal typically kept as livestock. Like all ruminants, sheep are members of the order Artiodactyla, the even-toed ungulates.

If you live on open land and have a pasture, then you can keep sheep. But keep more than one and make sure you have the space! These are not house pets and belong outside in a pasture with a shelter built for them.

They always run away from you because they are prey animals and that's their natural instinct, they are scared of you and not really that good of a pet

They are fuzzy and great companions

Ba!

57 Moths Moths Moths comprise a group of insects related to butterflies, belonging to the order Lepidoptera. Most lepidopterans are moths; and there are thought to be approximately 160,000 species of moth, many of which are yet to be described.

Moths are great, no care needed. Fend for themselves. House trained. Good with kids and other pets except spiders or moth eating lizards. Disadvantages, short life span, not very playful, eat your clothes and won't fetch a stick.

58 Hercules beetle

They are cool but best left in their cage

59 Rats Rats Rats are various medium-sized, long-tailed rodents of the superfamily Muroidea. "True rats" are members of the genus Rattus, the most important of which to humans are the black rat, Rattus rattus, and the brown rat, Rattus norvegicus.

How did pet rocks rank higher than rats? Seriously, they're my favorites. They're second only to dogs in how affectionate they are, and relatively very easy to take care of. The only thing about them that might be difficult is that you need to spend time with them every day, but they're so lovable and fun it won't be tedious. They love to lick and cuddle their home mans -- more than I can say for most hamsters and rabbits! Sweeter and better lap pets than cats and just as clean and easy to take care of. And very smart! They can learn tons of tricks. Honestly, the only downside is that they only live for three years, but I guess that's good if you don't like commitment.

Rats are the best pets. I have had such a huge variety of animals. I love dogs, don't get me wrong. My boxer is my baby. But rats are so sweet and feisty. They are funny to watch because they amaze you with how smart they are. Each one has their own personality. I've had 7 rats now and each time one passes it completely breaks my hear. All girls except for 1 boy. People tend to freak out but I promise you, get your own rat as a baby and you will be attached. I have so many friends that have gotten a rat to feed to their shake and ended up getting rid of the snake because they became attached to the rat lol. I promise you, you will not regret owning a rat.

Most people think that rats are gross! Wrong! Pet rats are extremely clean animals and I have never seen my rat dirty. They are low maintenance and are so sweet! Trust me if you have a pet rat you will never regret it. The only down sider to these cute little things is that they have a short life span.

Rats are amazing pets, should be third or fourth on the list. So sweet and loving, don’t require much care (some but not as much as a cat or dog). Say yes to rats!

60 Spiders

So the Tarantula is most commonly kept, and I love spiders, I used to want one! But then I learnt that these animals are social, and their lifespans are a lot shorter in captivity because they die of loneliness or stress when kept in cages, especially since they are left alone without another spider friend. So yeah, these are not good pets but I'd expect them to be ranked higher than a wolf either way

I used to own tarantulas. I used to let my little girl crawl on my hand. I loved her! I didn't know that they needed a friend. I wished I would have known that.

Spiders are mean bad pets

My stepdad's cousin had a tarantula in a tank in his kitchen. I reckon he should've had another to pair with it so it wouldn't have died sooner.
