Top Ten Most Boring States In the US to Live In

SubliminalMessages
*Yawn*, I would be bored of living in these states!

The Top Ten

1 Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska is a state that lies in both the Great Plains and the Midwestern United States. Its state capital is Lincoln.

I knew a friend going to Nevada, who they wanted to go to a Denny's. They skipped one and said they would go the next one. There was NO Denny's until Sterling, Colorado. That's how much there is in Nebraska. - SubliminalMessages

It is bottom of the barrel.

2 Wyoming Wyoming Wyoming is a state in the mountain region of the Western United States. The state is the tenth largest by area, but the least populous and the second least densely populated of the 50 United States.

People probably forget that Wyoming is a state that exists. - HauntingStomper

There isn't much to do there, and not many restaurants and cities. - SubliminalMessages

3 North Dakota North Dakota North Dakota is the 39th state of the United States, having been admitted to the union on November 2, 1889.

If you think this state is boring, you haven't been there. - lolingdog9000

It's the Pits

4 Montana Montana Montana is a state in the Western region of the United States. The state's name is derived from the Spanish word montaƱa.

6 Arkansas Arkansas Arkansas is a state located in the Southeastern region of the United States. Its name is of Siouan derivation, denoting the Quapaw Indians.

Arkansas is actually more interesting than most give credit for. I've lived here all my life and have not seen all the wonders there are to see yet.

I have never wanted to commit suicide before moving to Arkansas. ARKANSAS NEEDS TO BE DEMOLISHED By BYSON

7 South Dakota South Dakota
8 Kansas Kansas Kansas is a U.S. state located in the Midwestern United States. It is named after the Kansa Native American tribe, which inhabited the area.
9 Delaware Delaware Delaware is one of the Mid-Atlantic states located in the Northeast megalopolis region of the United States. V 1 Comment
10 Vermont Vermont

It can't be that boring if the people there do whacky stuff with syrup. - CobaltCards

The Contenders

11 Alaska Alaska Alaska is a U.S. state situated in the northwest extremity of the Americas. The Canadian administrative divisions of British Columbia and Yukon border the state to the east; it has a maritime border with Russia to the west across the Bering Strait.

Alaska is actually pretty awesome if you don't mind the cold. I would rate it the most fun state actually.

12 Indiana Indiana

The state is only made for adults over 21. Kids under 21 have nothing to do, there are no fun attractions other than the children's museum which is made for kids who are no older than 12. All you see is cornfields and flat land, there are no mountains or huge hills or anything like that, there are also no family fun activities to get away for a weekend/ family vacation. There are no water parks or amusement parks. Indiana is only made for people over 21 because there's are casinos and bars almost everywhere. If there are adults who have kids under 21, I would not recommend living in Indiana, especially if you're a family who likes to get out and have fun all together, or a family who likes to travel or get away for a weekend.

13 New Jersey New Jersey New Jersey is a state in the northeastern and mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. It is bordered on the north and east by New York, on the southeast and south by the Atlantic Ocean, on the west by Pennsylvania, and on the southwest by Delaware.

The only thing that happens here is a snowstorm in February.

We have six flags great adventure Nj isn't that bad

Literally the only good thing about here is it's close to new york,

this state has one of the highest taxes

is one of the most in debt states (next to hawaii)

houses are ridiculously expensive here

and nothing really happens here,

(also it's illegal to pump your own gas which isn't the worst thing in the world, but it's fairly stupid)

if you want to move somewhere in this state, consider other states (such as pennsylvania or massachusetts)

14 Mississippi Mississippi
15 Washington Washington Washington is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States located north of Oregon, west of Idaho, and south of the Canadian province of British Columbia on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. It is the only state named after a president.

Nothing outside of Seattle. If you like rain and mountains this is the state for you - Randomator

16 Iowa Iowa Iowa is a U.S. state in the Midwestern United States, bordered by the Mississippi River on the east and the Missouri River and the Big Sioux River on the west.
17 Arizona Arizona

Shouldn't be on the list either - gizzmokids

18 Florida Florida
19 Ohio Ohio Ohio is a state in the midwestern region of the United States. Ohio is the 34th largest by area, the 7th most populous, and the 10th most densely populated of the 50 United States.
20 Colorado Colorado Colorado is a state in the United States encompassing most of the Southern Rocky Mountains as well as the northeastern portion of the Colorado Plateau and the western edge of the Great Plains.
