Add the valleys where wine is grown, and you've got something for everyone. Like Disneyland, it cannot be fully experienced in a brief visit.
California offers amusement parks, beaches, national parks, historical landmarks, cultural centers, and more. Plus, your vacation probably won't be interrupted by bad weather since it's almost always sunny in California.
California has everything! It's the best state ever! You can go surfing and skiing all in the same day!
Hawaii
Hawaii is the 50th and most recent state of the United States of America, receiving statehood on August 21, 1959. Hawaii looks like a beautiful place to live. My sister lived there, and the pictures are so beautiful.
I've never been to Hawaii, but it is definitely on my things-to-do list!
I've been there twice. It's paradise!
Florida
Florida is a state located in the southeastern region of the United States. Florida is the southeasternmost U.S. state, with the Atlantic on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other. The beach, Disney, and Universal Studios make Florida very diverse. The Cuban, Puerto Rican, Dominican, and Haitian communities there make it unique. In most states, it's mostly one race. For example, Arkansas and Idaho are predominantly white, while Georgia and Maryland have large Black populations. The only truly diverse states are New York, Florida, California, and Massachusetts.
Florida is the best state for beaches and theme parks within the same state. The beaches of Western Florida are soft, sandy, and beautiful. Florida is a peninsula surrounded by beaches with both sunrises and sunsets. Can you get both sunrises and sunsets anywhere else?
New York

We New Yorkers are honest, bold, and helpful. People from all over come to visit NY. I live here, and you wouldn't believe how many tourists I see every day.
The Big Apple is a great place, but for those who want to see the wild side of New York, go to the Adirondacks.
Alaska
Alaska is a U.S. state situated in the northwest extremity of the Americas. The Canadian administrative divisions of British Columbia and Yukon border the state to the east; it has a maritime border with Russia to the west across the Bering Strait. I already live in Utah, but Alaska is awesome too.
It's freezing, but great for skiing!
Colorado
Colorado is a state in the United States encompassing most of the Southern Rocky Mountains as well as the northeastern portion of the Colorado Plateau and the western edge of the Great Plains. With skiing and snowboarding, it's clear that nobody who's been to Colorado would leave it off this list. It should be right behind Hawaii.
Even though Texas is my home state, I think Colorado offers the very best vacations.
Texas
Texas is a state in the Southern USA. It is the second largest by area and population. Its largest city is Houston. I recently visited Houston, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and Dallas. I can say Texas is definitely the best state to vacation in. It's beautiful and the people there are very friendly. I feel Texas is something to be really proud of.
Texas is an underrated state to visit because of all the stereotypes. The weather is unpredictable in both good and bad ways.
I live here, and I don't want to take a vacation, so yeah...
Wyoming
Wyoming is a state in the mountain region of the Western United States. The state is the tenth largest by area, but the least populous and the second least densely populated of the 50 United States.
South Carolina
South Carolina is a state in the southeastern region of the United States. The state is bordered to the north by North Carolina, to the south and west by Georgia across the Savannah River, and to the east by the Atlantic Ocean. South Carolina is my go-to vacation spot. There's always someplace fun to go.
Utah
Utah is a state in the western United States. It became the 45th state admitted to the Union on January 4, 1896. Utah is the 13th-largest, the 31st-most populous, and the 10th-least-densely populated of the 50 United States. Utah is home to Lake Powell, the best vacation spot ever.

Pennsylvania, officially the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, is a state located in the northern and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. I live in Philly. It's so close to the NJ shore, and I live only 1 hour from Dorney Park and 2 hours from Hershey Park. I also live 2 hours from NYC!
Maryland
Maryland is a state located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, bordering Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. I live in Maryland, and I have to say we have some pretty cool places like Six Flags America and Ocean City.
I went to Ocean City twice, and it's awesome!

Washington
Washington is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States located north of Oregon, west of Idaho, and south of the Canadian province of British Columbia on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. It is the only state named after a president. Washington state is underrated. I went to Seattle twice with my family, and it was awesome, especially my 2019 trip. 10/10 would go back if I could.
Nevada
Nevada is a state in the Western, Mountain West, and Southwestern regions of the United States of America. This should be in the top 10. Las Vegas is one of the best vacation spots.
Arizona
Arizona is a U.S. state in the southwestern region of the United States. It is also part of the Western and the Mountain states. There's so much to do in Arizona. I went there for 9 weeks, did different activities every single day, and still couldn't cover everything!
The lakes are amazing, and the Grand Canyon is beautiful.
Virginia
Virginia, officially the Commonwealth of Virginia, is a state located in the South Atlantic region of the United States.
Delaware
Delaware is one of the Mid-Atlantic states located in the Northeast megalopolis region of the United States.
Illinois
Illinois is a state in the midwestern region of the United States. It is the 5th most populous state and 25th largest state in terms of land area, and is often noted as a microcosm of the entire country. Chicago is a beautiful, clean city to visit. It's easy to get around and there are so many fun things to do and see.
The city offers a vast selection of restaurants, from cheap eats to fine dining. Chicago Blues is the best music in the world. It's a wonderful vacation place for people of all ages.
Important! The entire city is handicap accessible.
My family visits Chicago a lot, and it's such an amazing city! The rest of Illinois is great too.

New Jersey is a state in the northeastern and mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. It is bordered on the north and east by New York, on the southeast and south by the Atlantic Ocean, on the west by Pennsylvania, and on the southwest by Delaware. I love the NJ shore. It's fun, with lots of boardwalks featuring rides and arcades. Ocean City, NJ, is one of my favorites. I also like Atlantic City, Seaside Heights, and Wildwood.
The boardwalks are awesome, especially in Ocean City, Atlantic City, Wildwood, and Seaside Heights.
