For this list, we will be counting down the top 10 fictional snakes in movies, video games, TV shows, and other forms of media. This also includes snakes of all types.

Viper - Kung Fu Panda

Voiced by Lucy Liu and a member of the Furious Five, she is one of the few who was actually nice to Po in the beginning.
Rattlesnake Jake - Rango

Voiced by Bill Nighy, he gets brought in by Mayor Tortoise John to expose Rango's lie to the whole town after Rango starts getting too close to the truth about Mayor Tortoise John's wrongdoing in controlling the water supply to buy the land around Dirt.
Kaa - The Jungle Book

First appearing in Rudyard Kipling's original book The Jungle Book, he is voiced by Sterling Holloway in the 1967 Disney animated movie. In the sequel, he is voiced by Jim Cummings, and in the 2016 live-action remake, Kaa is female for some reason and voiced by Scarlett Johansson.

Yawn - Resident Evil

The very first boss in the Resident Evil franchise, starting all the way back in Resident Evil 1, appears after acquiring the Shield Key. Chris or Jill, depending on who you play as, can unlock the door next to the room where you find Richard.
During the battle, Yawn can poison your character if it bites you, which can be a bit of a hindrance. Even if you survive the battle, your character will still be poisoned, and you have to run all the way to the save room on the other side of the mansion to get the serum before you die.
In the remake, you don't actually have to fight it at first, as it is possible to grab the death mask in the back by luring Yawn away from it, then running in, grabbing the mask, and exiting the room. Later in the game, though, you face off against Yawn again, and this time you have to kill it to progress.
Cobra Jafar - Aladdin

In the final battle, Aladdin faces off against Jafar, and during their battle Aladdin calls Jafar a snake. Jafar literally turns himself into a giant cobra while stating, "A snake am I? Perhaps you'd like to see how snake-like I can be!" as he begins transforming.

Serperior - Pokémon

Serperior, known in Japan as Jalorda, is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It first appeared in Pokémon Black and White, released in 2010 for the Nintendo DS. Serperior is the final evolution of Snivy, evolving from Servine at level 36.
