Top 10 Commonly Assumed Things that You Wish Were Actually True About Certain Video Games
I know opinions are subjective, but come on; does Final Fantasy VII really compare to VI, IX and XII in terms of which one is the best overall?Sorry, pal, but in terms of overall quality...VI, IX, XII and (for its time) even IV would really, really, REALLY like to have a word with you
As good as FF VII was it has aged poorly over the last couple of years.
It's literally the only one I've been able to get into.
Hate to break it to all of you Draugr memelords out there, but if you ever actually PLAYED this game, you would know that first of all, the dragon fights are complete and utter window dressing and always WILL be, and second of all, while the melee combat HAS been considerably improved compared to that of previous installments, it still becomes largely un-usable once you finally decide to grow a pair and ratchet the game up to actually challenging difficulty settings (yes, even WITH mods like Smilodon; perhaps installing one of the "evade button" mods MIGHT work)
It's literally like saying that plot was the main focus of the Dragon Ball series (this game had the same leading artist as that show did, so I would definitely consider it a relevant comparison)
Really? Even when compared to:
The Last Of Us?
Half-Life 2?
Undertale Genocide?
God Of War 3?
Fallout Series?
Original BioShock Duology?
The back half of Cave Story?
Hell, even a good chunk of the Metroid series is CONSIDERABLY sadder than this game if you actually take a minute to stop and THINK about it for a change (the Prime Trilogy and Samus' backstory most especially)
Well, technically, the original Brinstar and Norfair themes weren't included in Super Metroid either, but I would say that the new music for those areas MORE than made up for it, MOST especially with Brinstar in particular; same here, honestly, when comparing the original Hyrule Field theme to OOT's
Sadly debunked by the fact that it technically isn't quite large enough
Talking about the REAL characters here, not their ludicrously sexy fanart selves (if you really need proof, Lammy literally teleports herself back out of Hell and into the mortal realm by inserting herself into a fax machine in the opening cutscene to Stage 7 of the game's main campaign)
Ironically, the character's existence in the first place is probably a big part of the reason why the infamous "black holes" were added into the female characters' skirts in Super Smash Bros. 4
