He removed America from the Gold Standard, his secretary of agriculture Henry Wallace helped farmers recover from the crippling depression, he ended prohibition, introduced the New Deal which prevented another financial crisis until the policies of the New Deal were removed in the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. He also played a major role in ww2 doing much of the work on the western front and moving forward against Japan.

Why is he here. He should be number one

How anyone can rank Kennedy above FDR, I'll never know. FDR changed world history. Had it not been for the US entry into WWII, none of Europe would be free today.

Any man that can serve as president for 12 years deserves to be first
