A small but powerful nation, Israel is a democracy and has highly educated population boasting great advancements in weapons, medicine and technology. - 4894938

Well, it is a developed country so that explains why its first. I am a Pakistani, but I don't bear any negativity towards Israel honestly. Its more that I have a bone to pick against its government (I also have the same against the Pakistani government), but that's about it. - CrimsonShark

The only democracy in the middle east, the safest country to visit and live. - gracecrook

They are not very rich, but somehow they are very developed

2 United Arab Emirates United Arab Emirates The United Arab Emirates, sometimes simply called the Emirates or the UAE, is a country located at the southeast end of the Arabian Peninsula on the Persian Gulf, bordering Oman to the east and Saudi Arabia to the south, as well as sharing sea borders with Qatar and Iran.

I can't help but have this feeling that the UAE is a bit too pompous as a country. I've personally been there numerous times, and tall buildings are commonplace. I can pretty much tell it's a developed country. Its really nice looking that's for sure, but its not my type of country personally. - CrimsonShark

This should be number 1 on the list. I don't get how the hell Israel (which is always in war and is wrecked and is so backward in terms of infrastructure than UAE can even be on this list). Just compare Dubai to Tel Aviv.

The UAE is the best country to live in with great leaders and people. Honestly, I personally believe it should be number 1

Obviously its UAE

11 Egypt Egypt Egypt, officially the Arab Republic of Egypt, is a transcontinental country spanning the northeast corner of Africa and southwest corner of Asia, via a land bridge formed by the Sinai Peninsula.

While ancient Egypt was one of the earliest-known civilizations, it is hardly the oldest, and certainly did NOT "pretty much create modern civilization." Ancient Greece and Rome were the prototypes for, and greatest influences on, modern
civilization.

Pakistan is not even in the Middle East! Its situated directly in South Asia. Yes, it's a Muslim country, but outside of religion, Pakistan is rather different compared to the Middle East in a lot of ways.

Also, it is a developing country with a good amount of resources and in developed areas, it is rather thriving. It should also be noted that Pakistan is (Currently) the only Muslim country to possess Nuclear Power, which is an impressive, but also a dangerous record. - CrimsonShark
