Worst Disney Channel Original Movies

1. Teen Beach Movie

   I can't believe that kids buy in to this crap. Disney has been putting out the same movie over and over again for over five years and people still watch it. Everything that could possibly go wrong did go wrong, some examples include: bad acting, poor song selection/writing, plot just thrown together without real character development, famous actors hired just for the sake of making more money. I could go on, but the list would be too long. What gets me mad is that people actually watch this and because of high sales, I can guarantee that more crap like this will be put out for the sake of brainwashed kids.

   I feel like I've said a fair amount of this movie already since I couldn't get past five minutes of it and I watched the entirety of ' Foodfight! But eh this by quality is definitely the worst of the DCOMs that I've seen so far, however I feel like this is one of those movies where you get what you expect, a corny and overly hammy cash grab that's only really watched if someone's rushing their kid through the morning. Nothing special or agonizingly anger-inducing that films such as Descendants carry over, it's just one of those films that you expect to be bad. Also was this their working title and they just forgot to change it?

2. High School Musical

   

   This movie is garbage. All the characters do is break into song. Sharpey has the most annoying voice, and Gabriella's voice is equally bad. Troy sounds like a girl, and is a whiny brat. I hated the we're all in this together song, and the basketball song. The second movie is equally bad. However the third movie was actually pretty good. I would recommend hsm 3 than this cheesy garbage

   Teen Beach Movie is worse than this pile of garbage, yes, but have you taken the time to resort to this abysmal nonsense!? And the fact that people enjoy this movie and defend it with their lives is shocking like what the poop!? I can't even begin to explain everything I hate about this movie.

3. The Cheetah Girls

   

   I know people are gonna be pissed at my comment, but I really don't care. 1) What is up with their names? I usually LOVE when people have original, uncommon names.. But the names that they picked were so damn hideous. 2) What's up with the blonde chick? She wears the most HIDEOUS outfits EVER. In every movie, without fail. Every single outfit she wore was insanely hideous. Her arms & legs are also way too big. 3) Aqua, or whatever her name is? She would look so much better with a lighter hair color. The black hair just doesn't suit her.

   It is kinda boring to watch. The Cheetah Girls are awesome, I love them, but they are better dancers and singers than actresses. They all dance and sing so well, but they can't act. That girl who plays Galleria is kinda good at acting. But all the others are so annoying, like a Miley Cyrus kinda thing! !

4. Zapped

   

   This movie was so sexist. It makes me want to vomit. Zendaya is a pretty good actress but her acting could not help this destined to fail movie. The way she made friends with that weird girl was cheesy. Her relationship with her boyfriend is cheesy and everything about this film is cheesy and awful. The family is so crazy that they need to go to therapy or something and the weak message in this film is delivered so poorly and we've seen the message so many times before in movies. A large portion of those movies being Disney! Just a sexist peice of cheap garbage.

   Good lord, the acting stinks, VERY stereotypical, and super offending to boys. I hate everything about it. Oh and it is one of Disney's cheesiest movies. Just another Disney Channel movie that sucked. Zendaya was literally the only good actor in this, but still that doesn't help with all of the other actors. The stereotypes actually really offended me. I am a boy.

5. High School Musical 2

   

   I had to sit through this cheesy horror! I hate high school musical! This "movie" was boring and so generic!

   Why did they even bother with a sequel? Then comes High School Musical 3 *Sigh* "Oh, Disney Good God"

   This movie teaches bullying is okay, because they all bully Sharpay throughout the movie.

6. Descendants

   

   I liked this movie. I read the books so I know the villains resurrected. The singing is not good. Dove Cameron always sings in a fake baby voice. I think the second was a little better. The guys are better singers than the girls sometimes. I think they should explain more about how the villains are alive and all because unless you read the books you are clueless. The movie is called Descendants not The Descendants. I don't understand why they are supposed to be so young. Make them 17! How are there villain kids if the villains aren't even married? Why are Ben and Mal supposed to get married?!? They annouced it in the second movie. Jane says it. I wish they would change the plot in the third movie. I agree with whoever said Ben was too young to be king he isn't even out of high school!

7. Camp Rock

   

   I don't know, I like the plot itself, and some of the music, but from an acting standpoint? You could definitely tell it was a lot of the actor's were new to the movie world.

   I also think the writing is cheesy, but it's Disney Channel, so don't really expect different lol.

   This is a very, very sorry excuse for a movie. Demi Lovato sucks at acting and the Jonas bros are trash.

   It's a god movie BUT I ran out of bad movie and out of the good movies this one sucked the most.

8. Girl vs. Monster

   Why us it every new Disney Channel movie is about girls? Is it that overly feminist? And the name for the movie was stupid. Why not call it something other than girl vs monster.

   I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS MOVIE!

   From the trailers, it sounded really good, then me and my 6 year old sister watched it and I thought I could throw up it was so bad, my little sister even thought it was stupid! And she's 7!

   You'd be better off watching "grown ups movie" then this crappy garbage, and that movie stinks!

   Geez. The acting isn't good, and the title is uncreated, but at least this had a solid plot and decent characters and comedy

9. Frenemies

   I only liked the story with that skater chick and the preppy chick (played by the same actress) and the dog character. Other than that this movie sucked but sigh did they really have to make Savannah (the skater chick) like Jake (the boy love interest dude).

   Personally, I liked the story with the boy and his dog. Mainly because it just felt refreshing to FINALLY have a main lead be male.

   But that still isn't enough to save Frenemies. All three plots are just clichéd friends-at-war stories, and none of them are done well, let alone with anything new added to them.

10. Starstruck

    

    Who really thought it was good I didn't. Sterling Knight's voice sucks.

13. Geek Charming

    

    I liked this movie until I found out the main guy character in this movie,Matt Prokop; abused his girlfriend in real life. It sickens me that they still play this movie on Disney Channel.

    I am deeply offended, geek charming is one of my favorite movies. I love the relationship dyan and josh have. they are adorable together!

    This one's somewhat relatable, and I could tolerate it. Not too bad.

14. Zombies

    

    How the heck does a chemical reaction make the whole "if you're not a cheerleader, then you're a zombie" thing happen? Also, the song my year is pretty messed up. I mean, it shamelessly shows that the zombies kinda struggle to get graffiti off of their buildings and that they have a little water supply for their plants. Meanwhile, the cheerleaders are livin it up, basking in the good life. What. The. Actual. Heck.

    Zombies sucks and it is so painfully overrated. Everyone is always singing the annoying songs. The zombies don't even look like zombies. They're just normal human beings with green hair.

15. Smart House

    

    A kid and his family win a smart house run by a self thinking computer named Pat. Soon the computer takes on a life of its own and acts like an overbearing mother.

    Yes it did suck.

    I haven't watched all of it but until I do I really understand why it's so damn scary and stupid.

    Has anyone actually watched this movie? I surely haven't! What is it even about?

16. Let It Shine

    

    OK movie but didn't like that everyone is black, it reminds me a bit of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas where most of the characters were black, including CJ, the main character. I'm not racist or anything but just my 2 cents.

    Personally I LOVE this movie not because the stars or the music (even though the music and stars are amazing) it's the fact that this movie had the guts to talk about Christianity unlike any other DCOM. I LOVE this movie.To me I think it's the best DECOM movie out there I defiantly recommend watching it

17. 16 Wishes

    

    It was a really good movie. But in some parts it was a a little bit stupid because of Debby Ryan and how she was acting.

    Wait, this is a Disney Channel original movie? Anyway, I love Debby Ryan.

    Why isn't this number 1? This makes the rest of the High School Musical franchise look like Shakespeare in comparison!

    Errrmmm, Sharpay wasn't the best in this movie. No, wait, the acting wasn't the best in this movie, only Bradley Steven Perry and Ashley Tisdale could ACTUALLY act.

22. High School Musical 3: Senior Year

    

    It was too much singing and not enough plot or storyline. They tried way too hard in this movie, and it sucks so bad.

    It's already on list, it's actually #1 but why isn't HSM3 higher? HSM movies sucked bad and should be on top. Teen Beach Movie was also bad and I agree with being #1 but I think HSM movies were FAR worse!

    It's not a Disney Channel original movie. It's a Disney movie released in theatres and it's a really AWESOME movie

23. Teen Beach Movie 2

    

    The first movie was okay but this one really isn't that good.Its forcing emotions the actors seem like their not enjoying themselves and the plot is all over the place.So if you haven't seen this movie it's about How the cast of Wet Side Story come to the real world but they don't know that they are not real.Now Mack and Brady have to bring them back to the movie somehow or something bad might happen...maybe? They didn't really explain what might happend if they stayed

    I didn't even bother watching this. The first one was pure torture. This should be higher.

    I can't believe kids buy into this cheesy rubbish garbage. This movie honest to god is nothing but a rip-off of original girl singing groups. To be real with you guys, they probably just went to the studio, recorded the songs, ran it throw some type of magical machine a couple of times, threw in some auto-tune, and called it music. The movie is no better. Poor acting, dumb jokes, and the chosen actors that don't look the part.

    Do you know anyone who saw this? Me neither...

    You say kids buy into this, but I'm a kid, and I haven't seen it (people seem to call it crap)

26. Avalon High

    

    Some people argue, that this movie is ACTUALLY good!

    I tend to disagree.

    This is dull, boring, and, it's NOT even funny, among romantic dramas! (And it makes the ENTIRE "Twilight" film series, look like "Titanic"! )

    Not even the whole action scene in the end, could make up, fro how bad it was.

    The guys from MST3K NEED to make fun, of this!

27. Hannah Montana: The Movie

    

    Good god, this movie. All I see is Wrecking Ball and cheesyness, the only characters I actually liked from the T.V. show were Lilly, Oliver, and Jackson.

    I hate Hannah Montana even as a kid I hated it.
