Top 10 Best Disney Movies of 2017

I love Olaf's Frozen Adventure! What more can you want out of it? It was such a genius idea of them to release it in theaters. Sitting through 21 minutes of Olaf acting like a complete idiot? Brilliant! Making an annoying comic relief character the main focus is always a great idea. The songs in the special are absolutely great. Forget powerful songs like Let it Go and For the First Time in Forever that deal with the development of characters in an impactful way. We've got a cheesy and cliché holiday song about family. This is something that should be played on the radio. Olaf's Frozen Adventure is a masterpiece. It is certainly the greatest thing Disney has ever created. What? Oh you wanted me to talk about Coco? Okay. Coco is really great too. It made me have more of an appreciation for Mexican culture. I love all the scenery, the characters, the songs, the twists, everything about the movie is phenomenal. It shows that Pixar can still make great films. Now let's see if Incredibles 2 will be another masterpiece.

Spider-Man 2 is still the best Spider-Man movie. But a lot of people seem to disagree on that by saying Homecoming is the best. I will admit that this is the best portrayal of Soider-Man thus far, but it feels kind of wasted here. I thought that some of the action scenes were pretty disappointing. It seems as though whenever people are in danger, it tends to be Peter's fault. The actual villain himself never really put anyone's life in danger. Some of the changes they made to certain characters were pretty bad. Apparently Zendaya is the new MJ. Of the two movies that Zendaya was in this year, this was her best one. Since the Greatest Showman kind of sucked. I really wanted to love this film, but it had some wasted potential.

This movie was good but not as good as the first. While the first one had a perfect balance of storytelling and joke telling, this one focused mostly on the humor. And the humor was very childish. It feels like the script was written by a 5 year old. However, it still has some really great moments. The ending is very emotional, the action scenes are visually impressive, and the characters are very developed. Although, it seems like they focused mostly Peter's character arc and set the others aside. They still have their moments, but they don't feel as important here as they do in the first movie. So yeah. It's a good movie, but not a great one.

This movie with a click bait title was a legitimately good film. However, it was a pretty disappointing Star Wars film. Just that scene when Rey hands Luke the lightsaber was a total slap to the face. He just tosses it over his shoulder and doesn't even question where and how she got it. Despite there being some character development, one character in particular was extremely underdeveloped. We knew nothing about Snoke and yet he just dies. That was the worst scene in Star Wars history. Finn was extremely wasted in the film. He has a romance subplot with Rose. That whole subplot didn't add anything and completely bored me. Also, I hate Rose. She's worse than Jar Jar Binks and Ariel combined. And what was that whole thing with Leia using the Force to fly back to the ship? Despite these flaws, I don't think this movie deserves thehate it gets. It seems as though people are confusing disappointing with bad. They're saying it sucks because it debunked some fan theories. Like Rey not being related to anyone. Who judges movies like that? Apparently it's become cool to hate Star Wars now. The Last Jedi isn't a great film, but it's a decent film.

Definitely a step up from Cars 2. An absolutely unbearable film. This one is easily the best Cars film. Probably because it's not directed by "he who shall not be named". The sad thing is people still really hate this film. I personally enjoyed it for what it is. Lightning McQueen training Cruz Ramirez is very entertaining to watch. He's basically doing what Doc Hudson did for him back in the first Cars film. I also love how they show flashbacks of Doc Hudson and use actual recordings of Paul Newman. That's when things actually started to get emotional. The things that keep this from being a great film are that the first half is very boring. It took a while to get to the actual good stuff. I also thought that the jokes weren't very funny. There were a couple of times when I laughed, though. What saves this film is the heart. It's the only Cars film that actually has Pixar level writing. I'm not saying it's one of Pixar's best films, but it's still pretty enjoyable.

Thor has never had a good movie! He's such a cool character and all of his movies were underwhelming! To Ragnarok's credit, it did manage to be better than the previous two. However, it still wasn't great. Even though it could've been. This is a movie about the destruction of Asgard. It should be a more dark and serious film. Instead, they decide to treat it as a joke. Every single scene they're trying to make us laugh. Even during moments that should be more impactful. This is a problem that Marvel has been having these days. I get that they want to make the movies more fun, and I totally agree that these movies should be more fun, but they need to have a perfect balance of humor and serious moments. Loki was completely useless. The Doctor Strange cameo was disappointing, and the entire movie felt more like a Guardians of the Galaxy film. Asgardians of the Galaxy if you will. There are things to enjoy about the film, but it's a bit of a mess.

Tangled Before Ever After is a Disney Channel Original Movie and a pilot to the Tangled Series. Overall, I thought this movie was just okay. It has great animation, Rapunzel and Flynn act just like the way they were in the original, Cassandra's a great new character, I'm glad that the King and Queen finally have dialogue, but I did not care for the story. I get that they can't make a Tangled series without Rapunzel's signature blonde hair. I just didn't like the way they decided to make it come back. The villain's motivation makes no sense. She wants to get revenge on the kingdom just because all the thieves got locked up due to Rapunzel's disappearance. And she blames Rapunzel for it. Even though she was only a baby when she got kidnapped. The series itself, however, is actually really good. I love how well each character is being developed. It can even get pretty dark at times. Especially in the most recent episodes. Even though the pilot wasn't very great, I'm glad the series is very enjoyable.

People forgot about this movie after it came out. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't particularly good. It has some of the same problems that people had with the other sequels. I enjoyed the other sequels except for At World's End, but this one just didn't really do anything for me. They introduced two new characters. I really don't like them. Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan are the blandest characters in the franchise, but seeing these two new characters actually made me miss them. They also ruined Jack Sparrow. He used to be a silly pirate who would still do very noble, but now he's kind of a Jar Jar Binks type of character. And this makes me sad because he's usually the best thing about these films. This franchise has overstayed its welcome. There's apparently gonna be a sixth one. It really needs to come to an end.

I didn't even finish this one. No idea why it was made. It pretty much has the same problems as the first one but with an even worse story. Every character is just unlikeable. Both movies would be slightly better if they weren't musicals because the songs in these are garbage. If you love these popular Disney villains, don't watch Descendants.

This pretty much is blowing my mind out...there's a lot of great villains and also the new songs the way that they added uma in the movie is pretty cool though I think ursula's daughter is getting ovarrated on maleficent's precious daughter but in a good way!
