Maybe it's that quirky side character who stole every scene, or a mysterious figure whose backstory is just begging to be explored. Whatever the reason, these characters have sparked enough curiosity to make people say, "Give them their own spotlight already!"
The Top Ten
The Duke of Weselton (Frozen) The Duke of Weselton is the secondary antagonist of Disney's 2013 animated feature film Frozen. A pompous, old dignitary with a fear of magic, he was invited to Arendelle in honor of Queen Elsa's coronation.

Yeah, he totally needs a movie! He is kind of weird though.

Candace Flynn (Phineas and Ferb) Candace Gertrude Flynn is a main character of the Disney Channel animated television series Phineas and Ferb, voiced by Ashley Tisdale and created and designed by Dan Povenmire.
Gran Mamare (Ponyo)
Stacy (Phineas and Ferb)
Isabella (Phineas and Ferb) Isabella Garcia-Shapiro is a major character from the Disney Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb.
Edgar the Butler (The Aristocats)
Honey Lemon (Big Hero 6)

She and Gogo should have a movie together. However, since they're from a team movie about a team, it might not make much sense for only part of the team to have a movie without the rest.

Honey Lemon is so cute. I would totally watch her movie.

She is overrated.

Megara (Hercules) Meg is a heroine from the Disney movie Hercules. Meg is the love interest for, the protagonist, Hercules. Meg sold her soul to Hades for her boyfriend's freedom. However, the (soon to be ex) boyfriend ended up cheating on her. Meg is scared of getting hurt again. However, once she sees how genuine Hercules's... read more

Please make a movie or TV series about her but have the same animation as the Hercules 1997 movie. I would like to see her in her own film or TV series on Disney+.

I would love to see Meg get her own animated movie, but with the same animation style as Hercules, please.

I love Megara and would love to see her be the lead in a Megara movie or Hercules 2 centered around her.

Zurg (Toy Story 2)

Well, it's the best of the mentioned, at least.

Mr. Snoots (The Rescuers)

I would watch this.

The Newcomers

? Rani (Disney Fairies)
? Chernabog (Fantasia) Chernabog is a Disney villain from the 1940s film Fantasia, and in his segment, "A Night on Bald Mountain".
The Contenders
Hans (Frozen)

Thank you for putting this one on the list. I badly wanted to check out Hans's entire past life backstory.

To be fair, I'd totally watch that movie.

I would love a Helsa movie. Hopefully in Frozen 2.

Eugene (Tangled)

He is so hot! I would watch his movie. The best part is that if it's a backstory movie, he'll be a bad boy.

His movie would be hilarious!

Mr. Krei (Big Hero 6)
Mushu (Mulan)

The Duke of Weselton is a lame character. Mushu for the win!

That movie would be so funny.

I just love Mushu.

Esmeralda (The Hunchback of Notre Dame) Esméralda, born Agnès, is a fictional character in Victor Hugo's 1831 novel The Hunchback of Notre-Dame.

Where to begin? She is the first true Disney feminist: strong, brave, kind, smart, and so beautiful. She is one of the best Disney characters ever created. I hate how people think that just because she dances for money, she is a whore. This is not true. She uses her talent to get by, as she can't live a privileged life like the snooty princesses who think finding love is the greatest challenge.

Esmeralda owns her body! She seeks justice for the outcast, all while facing social and racial discrimination, and she is nearly killed for standing up for Quasimodo. Also, she was harassed by Frollo and spat in his face, even though she was about to be killed. She was fighting to what seemed like her end. So brave!

She needs much more recognition and praise. She is wonderful, and Disney has pushed her into the shadows along with the entire movie. It is a fantastic movie and has some of the best music to come from Disney. But no, people only want to see and remember the movies about shallow princesses who only seem to care about their lives and what they want.

Princess Eilonwy (The Black Cauldron)

How about a Black Cauldron sequel and live-action movie?

Princess Amber (Sofia the First)
Mama Odie (The Princess and the Frog)

Sure she's underdeveloped, but I loved her character and think that she deserves her own movie.

From The Princess and the Frog? She was so funny. I would definitely watch it.

Alice's Sister (Alice in Wonderland)

I especially needed to know her real, canon, official name too.

I think her name is Margaret.

Alice's older sister.

Perry the Platypus (Phineas and Ferb) Perry the Platypus, also known as Agent P or simply Perry, is an anthropomorphic platypus from the animated series Phineas and Ferb.

At least give him his own show!

Gill (Finding Nemo)

They could have made a movie showing the Tank Gang's adventures in the ocean.

Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid) Prince Eric is a Disney character that makes an appearance in the 1989 disney film called the little mermaid. He is married to ariel by the end of the movie and is a royal kind-hearted prince.
Phoebus (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
Sarafina (The Lion King) Sarafina is a minor character in Disney's The Lion King. She is a female lion and the mother of Nala.

Although she has limited screen time, Sarafina is briefly seen interacting with Nala and Sarabi. Her most notable moment in the film is when she responds to Sarabi's question about where Nala... read more
