Top 10 Best Disney Christmas Movies
Some people hang stockings. Some hang lights. You? You're here to rank Disney's best holiday magic. Good choice.Disney doesn't just make Christmas movies. They wrap up nostalgia, a little chaos, and just enough snow to make your cocoa feel official. Maybe it's Mickey getting sentimental. Maybe it's a ghost dragging Scrooge through an existential crisis. Or maybe it's Jack Skellington turning Christmas into a monster mash with ornaments. Whatever flavor of festive you're after, Disney's probably animated it, sung about it, or added Muppets.

The Nightmare Before Christmas also happens to be my favorite Halloween movie, and that's a reason why this movie is so great! It's both a Halloween and Christmas movie! I watch this movie every year! I really love the characters, and I love every song. Danny Elfman did a great job with the score, and the animation is outstanding. The character designs are great! I don't think I've ever met anyone who hated this movie. It is such a classic! It's very creative and fun, and a perfect movie to watch twice a year!

I watched this movie for the first time last year! I've heard so many great things about it, and I really liked it too! Each story is funny and entertaining. My favorite one is Goofy and Max's story. Max is much more likeable when he's a kid, and I like seeing him bond with his dad and not give up on his belief in Santa Claus despite Pete telling him that Santa isn't real. You're a mean one, Mr. Pete! The other two stories are great too. This is a very heartwarming movie and definitely one of my favorite Christmas films!

This is Disney's third Christmas Carol adaptation! They seem to be obsessed. This version is directed by Robert Zemeckis, who also directed The Polar Express, a film that I don't really care for. This version of A Christmas Carol uses motion capture technology, and the characters look much better than Tarkin and Leia in Rogue One! Jim Carrey is excellent as Scrooge, and he doesn't just play Scrooge, he plays all of the ghosts as well!
When I saw this movie in theaters, I was really scared! This movie is filled with jump scares, but these days, I find them to be very fun. I watch this every year! Definitely a great Christmas movie!

This is Disney's second Christmas Carol adaptation! In this version, the story is told by the Muppets. They did a great job with this adaptation! Despite it being a Muppet film, it's pretty serious. They mostly focus on being true to the original source material rather than being a Muppet film filled with humor. I really like that! The scenery is amazing, and I thought Michael Caine as Scrooge was pretty good. This movie shows that the Muppets can certainly make a good adaptation of A Christmas Carol!

Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas is the sequel to Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas. This one, however, is entirely CGI. The CGI in this film doesn't look that great, but I liked seeing them try it out! I really enjoy the movie itself. The movie consists of different stories, each of which shows the true meaning of Christmas in heartwarming and hilarious ways. I wouldn't say this is as good as Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, but it's still a very entertaining film!

Winnie the Pooh has never had a bad movie! I've always loved Winnie the Pooh ever since I was a kid, and this Christmas movie is definitely a great one! It has the same kind of humor and heart that we love in the Winnie the Pooh movies. The characters are great as usual, and the story is very nice. I've only seen this movie once so far, but I'm definitely going to watch it again!

Before I watched this movie, I thought it was going to be stupid! I thought it was going to be terrible! I thought I was going to hate it! But I was wrong. This movie is very entertaining! Tim Allen plays a father who becomes Santa after the previous Santa gets into an accident. Honestly, Tim Allen was the perfect choice for this role! He is hilarious in this movie! I was really surprised that I liked this film. I can totally see why people consider it a classic. The plot is original, the relationships are great, and the humor is funny throughout!
It even spawned two sequels, although both sequels were pretty bad and forgettable.

Does anyone remember the cartoon Recess? Probably not. But I thought it was a pretty good show! It even has a Christmas movie! It's not a great movie, but it's alright, I guess. The animation is pretty good. I thought the characters were fun and funny at times, but the overall writing isn't that great. I'm guessing not very many people have seen this movie. It's not that memorable, but this movie certainly has some good things about it!

The Newcomers

I really like this little 30-minute movie.

This movie isn't exactly good. In fact, it's pretty terrible. But the reason it's on this list is because it has some nice moments that make it seem like a good movie to watch at Christmas. I'll admit, as much as I hate this movie, I sometimes like to watch it around the holidays. I really like how Belle wants to bring Christmas cheer to the castle despite Beast forbidding it. The new characters introduced in this film are enjoyable. I really hate this movie, but it's definitely worth watching for Christmas.
