Top 10 Best Disney Movie Couples
There are many romantic Disney movies and there are also not so romantic Disney movies that happen to have a romantic couple. So here are some of the best couples in Disney movies.
Beauty and the Beast is the best princess movie of all time! And what makes it so great is the relationship between Belle and the Beast! At first Belle doesn't like Beast because, well, he's a beast and locked up her father. But that doesn't mean he's a bad guy. Right? Beast tries his best to act nice so that Belle will fall in love with him and he could be free of the curse. It's kind of hard to believe a girl would fall in love with a beast but it's still a better love story than Twilight. The ballroom scene really made an impact on their relationship. The song in the background and the scenery really sets the mood and we can tell that they really love each other. If a girl can fall in love with a beast, then that means there's hope for me! It will be very great to see Emma Watson and Dan Stevens recreate this relationship in next year's live action Beauty and the Beast movie!
My favorite couple of all time! They loved each other not by looks but by personality, which a lot of other Disney couples did. Other couples loved each other more on looks and first appearances, but this couple (along with a couple of others) love each other based on personality. That's why I love them so much!
My top five favorite Disney couples (not including Pixar):
1. Belle and Beast
2. Tiana and Naveen
3. Rapunzel and Eugene
4. Jasmine and Aladdin
5. Simba and Nala

Aladdin got to be with the love of his life! And all it took was ending up in a dungeon for stealing bread, getting trapped in the Cave of Wonders while finding a lamp, meeting the Genie that grants him three wishes, becoming a fake prince, drowining, getting lost in a snowy place, fighting Jafar as a snake, and trapping Jafar in the lamp. Not to mention that he takes Jasmine on a flying carpet ride which shows that girls will fall for a guy who has a sweet ride. The flying carpet scene is very brilliant and romantic. However, how did Jamine not know Prince Ali was Aladdin? The only thing different about him was the clothes. But nevertheless, their relationship is amazing and one of the reasons why Aladdin is WAY better than Frozen!
The fact that Rapunzel and Eugene is overrated overwhelms me; it's good that it actually has story to it, but too much recognition can be overwhelming nowadays. I think Aladdin and Jasmine has perfect chemistry overall, and their kisses are seen more than most other Disney couples (because of the TV series). I remember they used to be more recognized, along with Belle and Beast (or Prince Adam). And I think their kiss is more ironic than what Rapunzel and Eugene had. I think this is the hottest Disney couple ever; it just looks so strong, intimate, and passionate.

They are for me the best disney couples! They are made for each other. You can see how much they love each other simply by the way they look at each other. And them risking their lives for one another. Eugene literally DIEING for her. Them being each other dream was beyond adorable. Them in the series was so good too, they're always supporting each other. It really show how much they care and love each other
Rapunzel was able to trust a man that he just met to take her to see the lanterns! He also was a very realistic man that a lot of people could relate to, along with some very funny lines and the fact that he didn't want to sing!
But anyway, I also enjoyed how sweet he was to Rapunzel and at the part where they were taking him to prison and all he cared about was Rapunzel. He even sacrificed himself at the end of the movie! (Even though Rapunzel brought him back to life afterwards). Now this is a great relationship!
As overrated as Wall-E is, Wall-E and Eve make such an adorable couple. They first met each other on Earth while Eve was searching for life. When she does, she (along with Wall-E) get on a ship and some stuff happens involving robots and humans. I barely remember much from this movie but a scene that I really liked was when Wall-E and Eve were floating together in space. This is one of my favorite scenes in a Pixar movie. It's so amazing and it shows a true connection between the two of them. They even have the most painful kiss ever! They literally made a spark. So cute. Also, how was the plant able to survive in space?
Wow, this was the very first couple I shipped in my childhood! Just the development and concept of this robotic couple I find so cute and interesting and I can't help but watch this movie a million times mainly to see these two on screen! The shy, quirky boy falling in love with the tough, stoic girl is a trope I love in anime and beyond and their buildup is so freakin cute oh god I can't handle it! This movie is amazing and also so sad!

They are cute very underrated and not enough screen time.
This is a great couple, but the anti-Frozen digs were unnecessary

Halloween is coming up! Which means I'm going to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas which I do every year on Halloween and Christmas! In this movie, Sally has always had a crush on Jack Skellington. I bet she wants to jack his skellington. Unfortunately, Jack is always so busy that he doesn't even realize it. It wasn't until he went to rescue her and Santa from Oogie Boogie that he started having feelings for her. They even sing and share a kiss at the end. It's so romantic even though I still have a lot of questions regarding how their relationship can work out.
Didn't require "true love".
Cute emo couple perfect

We all knew this would be here. Lady and the Trump! I mean, Tramp! A female dog (not gonna say the actual word) meets a male dog and they fall in love. This is by far the cutest couple in any Disney movie. The scene where they eat spaghetti is just so adorable. Fun Fact: Walt Disney originally didn't want that scene in the movie. I'm glad they kept it in. It's one of the most iconic scenes in Disney history!
They are so much better than the Cinderella and prince from the old movie. They actually had a line of conversation in it. And kit showing Cinderella his garden was so cute.
People talked about the lack of chemistry between Jamie Dornam and Dakota Johnson in the much talked about 50 Shades of Grey.
Fortunately while that romance chemistry turned out to be a complete train wreck, Lily James and Richard Madden worked up some genuinely hot and believable chemistry in this adaptation of Cinderella. This should have been the hot Valentine's Day release of 2015 not that 50 Shades trash.
In this version Ella actually meets the prince by chance in the forest prior to the ball, what's more, she is oblivious to the fact he's a prince.
Kit falls in love with Ella for her kind outlook of life, so when he's pressured into hosting a ball to find a bride for political advantage rather than love, he sends the invitations to everyone for the sole reason to be reunited with Ella.
They really look like a perfect couple (compared to other Villains). Maleficent really loves Chernabog's talent and stuff he has done. They became a couple in House of Villains and in the novel series: Kingdom Keepers. Best Disney Villain couple ever!
Bob is super strong and Helen is super flexible. They must have a lot of fun in their room if you know what I mean. It must definitely be more entertaining than Fifty Shades of Grey. Anyway, there's just something about two superheroes falling in love that I really like. There are comic book heroes that tend to fall in love with normal people. Captain America with Peggy Carter, Superman with Lois Lane, Spider-Man with Mary Jane and Gwen Stacey. So it's great to not see that happen all the time. And yes, Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl are perfect for each other. They even had kids. Or in Syndrome's words, "GOT BUSAYY! " Can't wait to see them together in the sequel.
Shang and Flynn Rider are the hottest Disney love interests, and you know it.
"Some day my prince will come." And so he did. The relationship between Snow White and her Prince is so much better than the relationship between Cinderella and her Prince. In fact, Cinderella and Prince Charming is one of the worst Disney couples. But who cares? Snow White and the Prince is the very first Disney couple from the very first Disney movie! Snow White gets poisoned by an apple and gets revived by a kiss from her Prince. That would definitely lend him in jail. We see that the Prince loves her to the point of saving her life and they live happily ever after! So romantic.
I don't hate this couple, but I don't like it. To be honest, it kind of bothers me. Here's why: We only see the Prince sing to Snow White two times (the same song by the way) and kiss her to save her. I know that it was a big thing for him to do that and I do appreciate it, but it's kind of weird to see a 14-year-old girl and a 18-year-old man kiss each other. She's way too young! And besides they never talked to each other in the movie! We never saw what made them really get along! So in my opinion, this has to be one of the lamest Disney couples. Not the worst, but it's lame
They have by far one of the best relationships. In such a short scene we get to see such a beautiful relationship and jow it lasted over the years and we got to see how they overcame all those bumps in the road. And despite all that even after ellie died we still get to see how Carl will always continue to love her. If that's not love I don't now what is.
Ellie and Carl are the cutest and best Disney couple ever! They deserve #1, or at least higher than some dogs! The first 5 minutes of Up tell the story between this adorable couple, and has even made me shed a few (a lot) of tears! Ellie and Carl win the cutest couple award of Disney movies!
I hope Disney/Pixar releases some shorts of their lives in-between their childhood and Ellie's death. Like when they started showing feelings towards each other, their first date, prom, and so on.
Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knightly playing a romantic couple? Genius! Will Turner is shown to have a crush on Elizabeth in Curse of the Black Pearl but he doesn't think that she's interested in him. However, they end becoming a couple after Will saves her from Barbossa. How heroic! They eventually get married and at the end of At World's End, we see their son. Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann are two of my favorite characters from the Pirates films. So I really like seeing them as a couple. Can't wait to see Will Turner return in Dead Men Tell No Tales. Too bad Elizabeth won't be in it.
My favorite couple of all times!
The thing about Anna and Kristoff's romance is that it was never the main focus of the movie. The main focus was always directed at the two sisters' relationship. That being said, I believe that the Disney team took the right approach in making this romance not forced. Kristoff is initially annoyed with Anna but by seeing her caring and determined personality for numerous days, he eventually warmed up to her and the two realized that they were meant for one another. The best part about this relationship is that the characters DON'T immediately get married at the end of the film. They just start their relationship and see where it goes from there. I think it's great that Disney is correcting past mistakes with their romantic relationships by actually giving them time to develop. Same goes with Rapunzel and Eugene in Tangled.
They never really talk to each other throughout the movie about their love and stuff. The only parts that involved them loving each other was when Kristoff kissed Anna at the end of the movie (which only took up a few seconds by the way). I hated how this movie tried to show the lesson of women being able to save themselves and don't need men to save them. And before you say something against me, here me out:
First off, there are examples of movies (including Pixar because it's a part of Disney) where the women doesn't need to be saved by men. Examples: Mulan, Brave, The Incredibles, Tangled, Pocahontas, and much more! Second, the part where Elsa saves Anna with the power of their sisterly love makes me doubt this couple Anna X Kristoff. I wanted Kristoff to save Anna not Elsa! And here's why: It would have been better because it would've really showed Kristoff's love for Anna. Sure we see a kiss at the end and Kristoff's concern for Anna, but we only see this for like 2 minutes out of the whole movie! Watch the movie if you don't believe me and pay close attention to it! You'll see what I mean!
They are like a brother and sister duo.
They are such a good couple. I'm so glad that Giselle didn't just marry Edward just because he was a prince but that actually got to fall in love with someone who besides not being a prince still is a great man.
Because a divorced goofy lawyer can still be your prince charming. My favorite Disney couple!
One of the cutest Disney couples! They should be in at least top 10, or higher than some stupid dogs! This list is stupid
Love the sassy girl and cinnamon boy relationship they have. They are amazing. And I love Meg, the song 'I won't say I'm in love' is awesome
Should be higher than frekin ella and kit. This is amazing if Hercules wasn't a god he would die for Meg. Meg fell in love again right after she sold her soul to Hades for her ex. Who dumped her. I am mad
I think they are the best couple. I can't get over the fact that she ends up with John Rolfe. I mean what sequel?
The song Stand Out has been stuck in my head for about a week. In A Goofy Movie, Goofy's son, Max, has a crush on a girl at school and wants her to like him back. I know how that feels. He tries to impress Roxanne by convincing her that he's going to a Powerline concert. Again, I know how that feels. But instead Max ends up on a fishing trip with his dad but they later end up going to the concert. Later on, Max tells the truth to Roxanne saying he wanted her to like him to which she replies that she already liked Max. It's a little cliché but it's still a better love story than Twilight. Max and Roxanne are perfect for each other. But whatever happened to her? She didn't appear in An Extremely Goofy Movie. Don't blame her, though. That movie sucks!
They're underrated after all, are they not?
Couple goals. Seriously. Tarzan needs an animated sequel about Jane. Disney also needs to make a live action Tarzan. ❤
