Best Fiction Movies Made from Books
Okay, I could make a book about all the reasons why this movie was a poor adaptation! They were so, so unfaithful, they could've changed the names and title and it could've passed off as different movie. Alby was not the alone for a full month on the Glade, they first sent a GROUP of people, who are all very likely dead right now. Everyone was too nice, there was no griever hole, just some weird door thing, and they hardly addressed each other by name. Someone who didn't read the book would've been so confused! Not to mention Thomas and Teresa don't have telepathy, making it weird to just "become friends" and making the beginning of the Scorch Trials made differently too. Alby didn't try to choke himself and I hardly even realized he died until later. I know, as a reader, I need to learn to handle adaptations, but nonetheless... I think it strayed too far.
So bad it's good? Yes. A legitimately great movie? Don't make me laugh.
Best movie ever along with the second one, which is even better. The Maze Runner is literally my whole lifeā¤
It should be all Harry potter parts not just the first one. I am just crazy about it.
This one was the most faithful
What the he'll is it doing on the list :
One of the most faithful adaptations, I loved it!
YES! The whole series is great. The only thing that really disappointed me was that the first movie left out Tom Bombadil.
Yeah you know lets go away from classics and only consider movies that came out 5 years ago. Come on make this higher.
Oscar says this one smashes all the others.
