Top 10 Baltimore Ravens Players Going Into the 2026-27 NFL Season

The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a very disappointing 8-9 season in which they missed the playoffs. They had an abysmal 1-5 start last season. Then, they won five straight games and looked to be back on course, only to lose four of their final six games.

They missed the playoffs after Tyler Loop missed a last-second field goal. Following that Week 18 game against the Steelers, the Ravens fired longtime head coach John Harbaugh. It was clear that things had gotten stale and it was time for a change.

Do I think they rebound under Jesse Minter? Maybe, but it's an uphill battle.

    Lamar Jackson is one of the best quarterbacks in the league right now. He's efficient and a dominant dual-threat quarterback with a decorated career defined by two MVP seasons. Last season was a down year for Lamar, though. He missed four games and saw his stats regress across the board. His 2024 season was statistically his best, and he had an argument to win his third MVP award. He's still an elite quarterback, but the narrative remains that he can't win the big playoff games.

    Derrick Henry is an elite running back. He finished with 1,595 yards and 16 touchdowns while averaging 5.2 yards per carry, ranking second in the league in each category. Even if King Henry has some mileage on him at this point, there's no denying that he's a truly dynamic and powerful running back who is tough to stop. With a decorated career, he's on track to be in the Hall of Fame someday at this rate. He's easily the best offensive weapon the Ravens have right now, especially in a run-heavy offense.

  3. Roquan Smith

    Roquan Smith is an elite off-ball linebacker, and he's been as consistent as it gets. He's essentially the leader of the Ravens' defense. He's made four straight Pro Bowls and earned three First-Team All-Pro selections and two Second-Team All-Pro selections. He's a tackling machine with more than 130 tackles in each of the last six years. The only other player to do so is Bobby Wagner.

  4. Trey Hendrickson

    The Ravens bring in Trey Hendrickson from the division-rival Bengals as their new stud pass rusher after they said, "Nah, never mind," to Maxx Crosby. Hendrickson has been excellent. A First-Team All-Pro in 2024 with four consecutive Pro Bowl selections, he had 17.5 sacks in two of the last three seasons. Unfortunately, his 2025 season was cut short by nagging back injuries, forcing him to be placed on injured reserve in December. He's a great pass rusher, but his run-stopping abilities are not as good. For what the Ravens are paying him, they better hope he's worth it.

  5. Kyle Hamilton

    Kyle Hamilton is one of the top safeties in the league. He had a good 2025 season with 105 total tackles, including 59 solo tackles. He earned his second First-Team All-Pro selection and his third Pro Bowl appearance. Analysts consider him the top safety in the league, and PFF gave him an 86.3 grade, ranking him third overall at the position. He's exceptional and versatile and should be an asset for the Ravens for the foreseeable future.

  6. Zay Flowers

    Zay Flowers has consistently improved every season since his rookie year. He finished 2025 with 1,211 yards and five touchdowns, and he's clearly established himself as the top receiver in Baltimore. He also has back-to-back Pro Bowl appearances. Overall, though, he's not in the top tier of No. 1 wide receivers in the NFL. He's a good, but not great, player so far, although the potential is there.

  7. Marlon Humphrey

    Marlon Humphrey is a great cornerback for the Ravens. He had a good 2024 season and has two First-Team All-Pro selections and four Pro Bowls to his name, although 2025 was a bit of a step backward for Humphrey. To be fair, the Ravens as a whole took a step backward, so of course not all of that can be blamed on him. I think he should have a bounce-back year.

  8. Ronnie Stanley

    Stanley has been a solid starting-caliber left tackle. In 2019, he was considered one of the best left tackles in the league, earning First-Team All-Pro honors and making the Pro Bowl. Since then, however, he's kind of regressed. Don't get me wrong, he's still decent, but injuries have definitely had an impact on his performance in recent years. When he's healthy, he's great, but that seems to be the key phrase here. He's still a valuable veteran presence on the Ravens' offensive line.

  9. Nnamdi Madubuike

    Nnamdi Madubuike is good when he's healthy. His 2023 and 2024 seasons were solid overall, and he made back-to-back Pro Bowls. However, his 2025 season was almost completely lost to a neck injury. His absence was a massive blow to the Ravens' pass rush. Assuming he is healthy enough for the 2026 season, he should be able to bounce back. The question is whether he'll be fully ready to go for the start of the season.

  10. Olaivavega Ioane

    The Ravens lost their stud center, Tyler Linderbaum, in free agency, leaving a massive hole to fill. Ioane should be the perfect replacement, at least on paper. The Ravens picked him 14th overall in the draft, and there's plenty of hype surrounding him. He's easily the best pure guard prospect since Quenton Nelson. I think Baltimore would be very pleased if he became a Quenton Nelson-type player. Hopefully, the transition from Linderbaum to Ioane is smooth.
