Top 10 Denver Broncos Players Going Into the 2026-27 NFL Season

The Broncos are coming off an impressive season in which they made it all the way to the AFC Championship before things took a stunning turn for the worse as Bo Nix fractured his ankle at the worst time. It's the ultimate what-if had he never been injured. The Broncos are set to be good again this season with even higher expectations. If they stay healthy, they have the talent on paper to go the distance.

  1. Patrick Surtain II

    PS2 is one of the absolute best cornerbacks in the league, hands down. He has 4 Pro Bowls, a Second Team All-Pro, and 2 First Team All-Pros, and was the 2024 Defensive Player of the Year. It says something when quarterbacks tend to avoid him like the plague.

    He had a relatively quiet 2025 season but still made a huge impact on the field. Honestly, nobody else had a chance to be #1 on this list.

  2. Quinn Meinerz

    Quinn Meinerz is an elite offensive lineman and one of the best in the NFL. His PFF run blocking grade was a 92.1 overall, which is the highest grade in the league. On top of that, his overall PFF grade was the best in the league at his position.

    He's coming off a Pro Bowl season and back-to-back First Team All-Pro. He's clearly one of the most valuable assets on the Broncos offensive line.

  3. Zach Allen

    Zach Allen is a solid defensive lineman coming off a First-Team All-Pro season and a Pro Bowl nod. He led all defensive linemen in quarterback pressures with over 70 and quarterback hits with over 40. He is only the second player in NFL history to have back-to-back seasons of 40+ quarterback hits. The other was J.J. Watt.

    He will be a valuable asset for the Broncos' defense for a while to come, a true dawg who does all of the dirty work.

  4. Bo Nix

    Bo Nix is an interesting case study. On paper, he's above average. He led the Broncos in a deep playoff run before it all came crashing down in brutal fashion with a late ankle injury in the playoffs. Had he stayed healthy, who knows how things would've played out? He may have won a Super Bowl ring.

    Bo Nix has potential and is a rising star. It's just kinda hard to say how good he is really. Is he top 10? Probably not. Top 15, maybe. Either way, this team will go as far as he takes them.

  5. Nik Bonitto

    Bonitto has developed into one of the premier pass rushers in the league. He had a breakout season in 2024 and kept that momentum going into 2025. He has made back-to-back Pro Bowls and a Second Team All-Pro in 2024.

    Bonitto finished 2025 with 46 tackles, 31 solo tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, and a career-high 14 sacks, ranking 5th most in the league. Hands down, he's one of the best pass rushers in the league.

  6. Garett Bolles

    Bolles has been excellent. Talk about someone who is reliable, Bolles hasn't missed a game since 2022, and he played 1,125 snaps last season. He was named First-Team All-Pro last season and made the Pro Bowl.

    He's come a long way since being penalized frequently in his early career. He's one of the top pass-blocking left tackles in the league with a 90.8 grade, ranking first in the league according to PFF. His 89.3 overall grade ranks fifth best in the league.

  7. Courtland Sutton

    Sutton is a solid wide receiver for Denver and has been the main target for years now. Sutton has always been an underrated receiver, yet he's very consistent.

    In 2025, he finished with 74 receptions for 1,017 yards and 7 touchdowns, earning a Pro Bowl nod. He can make contested catches and is a reliable red zone threat. He's not necessarily elite, but still very good and a key piece for the Broncos offense.

  8. Talanoa Hufanga

    Hufanga has been really solid in the NFL since he was drafted in 2021. In 2022, he was named First Team All-Pro and made the Pro Bowl. In 2025, he was named Second Team All-Pro.

    He had a career year in his first season as a Bronco with 106 tackles, 67 solo tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 11 passes defended, all career highs for him. He's one of the better safeties in the league honestly and should have another good year in Denver.

  9. Jaylen Waddle

    The biggest move the Broncos made is bringing in Jaylen Waddle as a solid WR2 behind Sutton, because the rest of that wide receiver room is pretty thin with a bunch of unproven commodities. Waddle has explosive speed, making him a constant threat.

    His first three seasons he had over 1,000 yards, and last season he had over 900 yards and six touchdowns. His 84 overall grade ranks 12th best among wide receivers according to PFF. He should be an excellent addition to the Broncos' offense.

  10. Mike McGlinchey

    Mike McGlinchey is a solid, starting-caliber right tackle. He had an 82.7 run blocking grade in 2025 according to PFF, ranking 11th in the league. He's a reliable veteran presence who gets the job done, which is really all you can ask for.
