Top 10 Most Hated NFL Teams

There's love for your team, and then there's a deep, festering disdain for the other guys. You know the ones. The teams that somehow always get the primetime slot. The ones with fans louder than their win column justifies. Or the franchises that win too much, cry too often, cheat when it suits them, or coast forever on the fumes of past glory.

Maybe it's the obnoxious fan base that floods your social feed after every lucky bounce. Or that smug coach with a face you swear was designed specifically to irritate you. Maybe it's just pure envy, because let's be honest, hating a team is sometimes the highest form of respect in disguise.

Whatever your reason, this is your chance to weigh in. Scroll through the list and vote for the teams that boil your blood, make your eyes roll, or ruin your Sundays.

The Top Ten
  1. New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston region. They compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference East division. The Patriots have won six Super Bowl titles, tying them with the Pittsburgh Steelers... read more

As a Broncos fan, you have to hate the Patriots. The bad thing is that I am from Massachusetts! And let me tell you, the people here believe that Tom Brady is their lord. Whenever I mention Deflategate, they just explode in laughter and disbelief.

Worst fans, worst defense, worst running backs, worst coaching staff, and Tom Brady should retire this year or the next. However, the fans still think that Tom Brady is an "angel" and will play eight more years! Eight!

WORST NFL team ever. They deserve to be the #1 most hated team in the league.

The Pats won many Super Bowls when they clearly shouldn't have and are a bunch of cheating ghouls, making the refs call bogus penalties on the other teams they face. They robbed the Chiefs out of a Super Bowl MANY, MANY times, illegally filmed footage of the Bengals, and so much more.

And don't get me started on "Mr. Deflategate." That dude is a whole other story.

  2. Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are a professional American football team based in the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex. The Cowboys compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division. The team was established in 1960 and has won five Super Bowl championships... read more

Need hating for thinking they're America's Team. Get out of the limelight and then we'll talk. The title was originally reserved for the Steelers. Cannot even be original and win or lose, they're rammed down our throats.

I have loved the Cowboys for as long as I can remember. I watch every game, and I have to say everyone hates them. That's fine, they hate us because they're mad that they lose all the time to us!

In my opinion, the Dallas Cowboys are my least favorite team. And, I love the Patriots! Why are they at the top? This team should be at the top and Patriots should go to the bottom of the list!

  3. Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders are a professional American football franchise based in Las Vegas. The team began playing in 1960 as a member of the American Football League and joined the National Football League following the 1970 AFL - NFL merger. In 2020, the Raiders relocated from Oakland, California to Las... read more

As a Patriots fan, I hate the Raiders for so many reasons.

    1. In 1976, the refs stole our playoff game against the Raiders.

    2. Two years later, the Raiders paralyzed our receiver, Daryl Stingley.

    3. That whole Darth Vader costume stuff is immature.

    4. Raider home games are said to be the most dangerous to attend.

    5. The Raiders are the favorite team of street gangs and thugs.

    What a despicable franchise.

The Oakland Raiders showed me a lot of hate when I saw them play the Kansas City Chiefs, but with them in Las Vegas, I still hate them.

  4. San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers are a professional American football team located in the San Francisco Bay Area. They compete in the National Football League as a member club of the National Football Conference West division. The team was founded in 1946 and has won five Super Bowl championships.

They should be just as hated as the Cowboys and the Patriots. First five Super Bowl appearances won. 55-10 blowout win against the Broncos. If the 49ers won't stop cheating, other teams don't need to be afraid to do a WWE Smackdown against them.

They win like always in the Wild Card and Divisional playoff rounds. There are some fans in the Seattle area that the Seahawks fans are counting on. Successful team hated by the rival fanbase. Love or hate!

They always win big on Monday Night Football, even though the schedule makers planned MNF wrong.

This team should be banned from playing home games on Monday night. They had a bye in Week 4 of 2019 just to beat the Browns 31-3 when they shouldn't have.

  5. Washington Commanders

The Washington Commanders are a professional American football team based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

In 2020, Washington retired the Redskins name and logo after 87 years due to its controversial depiction of Native American culture. The team was temporarily known as the Washington... read more

I am disgusted with their owner for refusing to change the name.

  6. Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division. The Packers have won four Super Bowls and a record 13 NFL championships overall... read more

    Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers

Two of my least favorite players in NFL history happen to be former Packers quarterback Brett Favre and current Packers signal-caller, Aaron Rodgers. I have stopped trying to decide which of the two is more annoying because there is no answer.

How many times have you heard, "Favre is a gunslinger?" You probably lost count, right? So, because a guy throws a stupid pass and a receiver bails him out, he is praised for being a gunslinger? Dear Lord, help me.

Oh, and he did this to the Lions.

Then you have Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers makes me want to punch him in the teeth whenever he walks onto the field with that stupid little grin of his. I don't care if he is one of the most accurate passers ever to play the game. Yes, he is good, way better than Favre, by the way, but man is he unlikable. Rodgers can take his "discount double check" dance and shove it. Somehow, the annoying dance even managed to hurt the Lions.

  7. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers are a professional American football team based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, that competes in the National Football League. The Steelers have won six Super Bowls, tying them with the New England Patriots for the most in NFL history. Their championships were earned in the years... read more

They're so dirty! Especially that head shot on Giovani Bernard by Ryan Shazier. Shazier was taunting and stuff. This is why I hate the Steelers.

I hate the Steelers. They are annoying.

I hate the Steelers! Dirty team!

  8. Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks are a professional American football franchise based in Seattle, Washington. The Seahawks compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference (NFC) West division. ... read more

To all who hate the Seahawks, why? They are in no way a "bandwagon" team, and they don't cheat like the Pats and others do. They have great and even kind players, like Wilson, and they push through without deflating footballs. Sherman and Bennett, who were kind of jerks, are gone now.

Too many unseemly characters on the team. I can't stand Carroll, Bennett, or Sherman.

People always hate them for no reason!

  9. New York Jets

The New York Jets are a professional American football team based in the New York metropolitan area. They compete in the National Football League as a member of the American Football Conference (AFC) East division. The Jets play their home games at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, which... read more

They're the Jets. Their fan base doesn't even like the team! Well, they like to boo them. And they suck. Case closed.

Their fans think they're a good team. Meanwhile, they're arguably the biggest joke of the league.

  10. Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are a professional American football team in Chicago, Illinois. The Bears compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division. Founded in 1919, the team has won nine NFL championships, including one Super Bowl.

  11. The Newcomers
  12. ?

    Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional American football team based in Jacksonville, Florida. They compete in the National Football League as a member of the American Football Conference (AFC) South division. The Jaguars were established in 1993 and began play as an expansion team in 1995.

  13. ?

    Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans are a professional American football team based in Nashville, Tennessee. 15. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division. They were established in 1933 and have won five NFL Championships, including... read more

    Should be higher overall!

Mostly hate them because of how their fanbase treats opposing teams. Anyone remember that year when the Eagles fanatics threw junk at Santa Claus during that Christmas game? This team's fanatics are our version of the English international soccer team's fanbase!

Why can't they act like their brethren fanbases in the Phillies (I didn't see any riots after they won the 2008 WS), 76ers, or the Flyers?

Fans live in an obnoxious bubble. Very few watch football beyond an Eagles game and wonder why they sound like nitwits when discussing why they don't win in the playoffs or big regular season games. Let me guess... "the refs' fault."

They compound it with their rude behavior after they beat a couple of busted teams. Big deal, you beat hapless teams with no QBs. Many more years of pain and suffering ahead of you. LOL. "Passionate fans" about what, I have no idea.

  16. Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. The Ravens compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference North division. The team was established in 1996 and has won two Super Bowl titles, in 2000 and 2012.

They are terrible. Ray Lewis should have ended the organization's time in the NFL.

  17. Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings are an American football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings joined the National Football League as an expansion team in 1960 and first took the field for the 1961 season. They have made four Super Bowl appearances but have not yet secured a championship.

Vikings fans suck. Personally, I am a Falcons fan, but just one win over anyone and the fans get all rude and brag about it and act like they just won the Super Bowl. It's just a game. Not the Super Bowl.

  18. Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams are a professional American football team based in the Greater Los Angeles area. They compete in the National Football League as a member of the NFC West. The team plays its home games at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Their "victory" over the Saints in the playoffs was because of the ignored pass interference when they literally trucked a receiver in deep territory, forcing a field goal. And they acted proud, like it was all them, but the truth is, they were carried by the referee.

This team is so low on this list. They need to be higher up, like Number 5. If you ask why, look at what they did to the city of St. Louis and the Saints in the playoffs.

The Rams should now be ranked as the Seahawks' most hated team because they won in Seattle 42-7 on 12/17/2017 when they shouldn't.

  19. Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division. They have won four league championships, including Super Bowl titles in 1970... read more

Patrick Mahomes thinks he's so tough, and he basically throws underhand. Worst logo in NFL history.

The Chiefs have taken that throne from the Pats.

  20. Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons are a professional American football team based in Atlanta, Georgia. The Falcons compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference South division. The team was established in 1965 and has appeared in two Super Bowls.

  21. Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers are a professional American football team based in Charlotte, North Carolina, that competes in the National Football League. They are part of the NFC South division and began play in 1995 as an expansion team. The Panthers have appeared in two Super Bowls, in 2003 and 2015.

With little to no history behind the franchise, they and their fans continue to disrespect the game and the sanctity of football in general. If your team has never climbed that mountain and stood on top of the world as the victors of all, you have no business talking about or to teams who have. Plain and simple.

  22. Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts are an American football team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Colts compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference South division. The franchise has won two Super Bowls, in 1970 and 2006.

  23. Cleveland Browns

  28. Houston Oilers

  29. Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos are an American football team based in Denver, Colorado. The Broncos compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division. They have won three Super Bowl championships, most recently in Super Bowl 50 in 2016.

The Broncos cheat way too much! They're, in fact, the league's biggest cheaters! You should hate on them way more than the Patriots!
