Top 10 Los Angeles Rams Players Going Into the 2025-26 Season
The Rams are a very interesting team. If I'm being honest, this is a team that looks like they could be playing in the Super Bowl based on their performance last season. On paper, they have the talent to make a deep run.
I think they are definitely the favorites to win the NFC West division at this point. Keep in mind, they thrashed the 14-win Vikings in the playoffs, and they gave the Eagles absolutely everything they could handle, nearly pulling off the upset of the eventual Super Bowl champions.
They also have a lot of young talent and potential. I'm interested to see how they can improve on last year's performance.

Puka Nacua
Puka Nacua took the league by storm in his rookie season, shattering records. He's one of the top-rated wide receivers in the league according to PFF, with a 92.8 grade. Nacua has really blossomed into an elite-tier wide receiver and is clearly the top wide receiver for the Rams.
Even missing a few games to injury, he still had nearly 1,000 yards and 3 touchdowns. People always talk about Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase being the top wide receivers in the league, but I'll say it. Puka Nacua has justifiably earned his spot in that same category. He's undoubtedly a top 5 receiver in the league right now.

Matthew Stafford
John Matthew Stafford, born on February 7, 1988, is an American football quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. He was selected as the first overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions, where he played for over a decade before being traded to the Rams in 2021.... read more
Matthew Stafford has been an excellent quarterback for the Rams, and he even won a Super Bowl with the Rams. Matthew Stafford is statistically one of the best quarterbacks in the league every year.
He's getting up there in age, sure, but he's undeniably been the leader for the Rams' offense and team as a whole. His stats were a little down in 2024, with 3,762 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions, but he still finished top 15 in the league. He's been a steady, consistent player for years. With him healthy, the Rams as a whole are a very formidable team that can contend with anybody in the league.
He is going to play against his old team, the Lions, in Week 15.

Kyren Williams
Kyren Williams has truly emerged as a do-it-all workhorse running back. Williams has proven he's capable of handling a heavy workload, is a reliable goal-line running back, and has demonstrated solid pass-catching ability as well.
He finished the 2024 season with 1,299 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns, leading the team. He also was top 10 in the league statistically in both categories. Williams should continue to be a dynamic threat and core piece for the Rams' offense.

Jared Verse
Aaron Donald being out of the picture left a huge void to fill. Jared Verse is expected to be the replacement, and so far he's delivered well. He wasted no time proving he's amongst the best in the league at his craft. He's already looking like a superstar in the making. The Rams may have found the next Aaron Donald already.
Verse had an outstanding rookie season for the Rams. He finished with 4.5 sacks, 66 tackles, 36 solo tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and 18 quarterback hits. He is the reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year and made the Pro Bowl. I expect him to continue to play at an elite level in 2025. His potential is truly sky high, and he's just getting started.

Davante Adams
Davante Lavell Adams (born December 24, 1992) is an American football wide receiver, currently signed with the Los Angeles Rams after stints with the Green Bay Packers, Las Vegas Raiders, and New York Jets. He played college football at Fresno State, where he became a two-time First-team All-Mountain... read more
Davante Adams hasn't quite been the same player he once was, but to be fair, he was playing for bottom feeder teams in the Raiders and Jets. He's still a 6-time Pro Bowler and 3-time First Team All-Pro receiver. He's also recorded at least 1,000 yards in 6 of his last 7 seasons. He's still an elite receiver even at 32.
Davante Adams has an outstanding skill set and has proven himself to be very productive throughout his career. As long as he's healthy, I expect big things from him in LA, who now has one of the top wide receiver duos in the league suddenly. If not for Puka Nacua, he would probably be the standout WR1 on at least two-thirds of the teams in the league.

Braden Fiske
Braden Fiske definitely showed a lot of potential as a rookie last year with 44 tackles and 8.5 sacks. He also had 10 quarterback hits, 10 tackles for loss, and 2 forced fumbles.
He made the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2024. I expect him to continue to improve and become a standout contributor on the Rams' young defensive line. He's got a lot of potential and is only scratching the tip of the iceberg.
-
Kamren Kinchens
Kamren Kinchens has really emerged as a solid safety in his rookie year. He has great coverage abilities and is a true natural ball hawk that knows how to make plays. He's quickly become a key contributor for the Rams' secondary.
He showed his potential in his rookie season after being named an All-American in 2022 and First Team All-ACC twice. Kinchens finished his rookie season with 4 interceptions, tied for the most on the team, including a 103-yard pick six, and 57 tackles with 36 solo tackles. You should expect to see him build on that and become even more productive and consistent in 2025.
-
Kobie Turner
With Aaron Donald out of the picture, Kobie Turner has emerged and absorbed a significant amount of the workload. He caught the attention of the league with 9.0 sacks in his rookie season and was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team.
His second season was arguably even better. He had 8.0 sacks, 62 total tackles, 35 solo tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 13 quarterback hits. The future certainly looks promising for a blooming defensive star.
-
Terrance Ferguson
Maybe a bit of a wild card pick here. Tyler Higbee is generally considered okay, but he is 32 years old and in the final year of his contract. Ferguson is likely going to be the replacement and become their full-time starter going forward.
He's an all-around great tight end prospect who checks all the boxes. Good blocker, reliable pass catcher, good athleticism, and good at picking up yards after the catch (YAC). He made First Team All-Pac-12 in 2023 and Third Team All-Big Ten in 2024.
-
Ahkello Witherspoon
Witherspoon is a bit of a wild card choice, but my reasoning is this: he adds much-needed versatility and depth to the Rams' cornerback room, which is pretty lackluster right now. He also has experience playing for their defense and fits Chris Shula's defensive scheme well.
Witherspoon is not talked about enough. He's often doing the dirty work and making the plays that don't always get noticed or show up on the stat sheet. In the playoffs, he showed what he's capable of. He shut down notable wide receivers such as Justin Jefferson and A.J. Brown.
