Top 10 Best World of Warcraft Races

The Top Ten
Night Elf The Night Elves are an ancient race originally hailing from the forests of Kalimdor. They are known for their connection to nature and their affinity with druidic magic. The Night Elves played a significant role in the defense of Azeroth against numerous threats throughout history.

Dude, night elves do front flips when they jump. They look awesome, they can be druids, and they make sweet rogues and hunters.

Love the way they designed the night elves. They're awesome.

They look cool, and they make awesome druids.

Human Humans are one of the most adaptable races on Azeroth, originating from the Eastern Kingdoms. They are known for their resilience and tenacity, as well as their strong alliances with other races. The Humans are often at the forefront of conflicts, striving to protect their lands and values.

Humans are the best for ranged casting classes like mage and warlock. They're the best because that's what we are, and we should support that. It's not like we're tauren or elves. We are human!

Dwarf Dwarves are a stout and hardy race originating from the mountains of Khaz Modan. Known for their skill in mining, blacksmithing, and engineering, they have a rich cultural history tied to stone and metal. Dwarves value honor and loyalty and have a longstanding alliance with the Humans.

They have really funny and badass accents, and they make great warriors or paladins.

Keep yer feet on the ground.

Tauren The Tauren are a nomadic race of hulking, bovine-like humanoids native to the plains of Mulgore. They hold deep spiritual beliefs and maintain a strong connection to the earth and the elements. Tauren society is organized around tribes, with a focus on preserving their heritage and culture.

They're big bulls and awesome! They can't be number ten!

Better than humans. Almost better than night elves.

I like tauren. They're unique and they're cows!

Worgen The Worgen are feral, wolf-like humanoids who were once human but cursed with a bestial form. They primarily hail from the nation of Gilneas, which was isolated from the rest of Azeroth for years. Despite their curse, they maintain their humanity and have become valuable allies in the Alliance.

Why isn't Worgen number one? Worgen are awesome! I don't get what people hate about them. As a fan of werewolves (the ones that actually look like wolves), I adore this race.

They can shapeshift into humans. They get increased critical chance, faster skinning, and they have Darkflight.

They might be real monsters.

Orc Orcs are a warrior race that originally came from the planet Draenor before settling on Azeroth. They have a strong warrior culture and are organized into clans, each with its own customs and traditions. The Orcs are known for their strength, resilience, and sense of honor.

They make great hunters due to racials like Berserk. They also make great warriors, and the extra pet damage makes an Orc hunter a strong adversary.

Increased pet damage is very useful for me as I play a warlock.

They are big green killing machines.

Pandaren Pandaren are a peaceful and contemplative race native to the mist-shrouded land of Pandaria. They are known for their love of good food, strong drink, and harmony with nature. Pandaren can choose to align with either the Alliance or the Horde after leaving their homeland.

I love the tranquility of the turtle island. You get zen teleportation. Plus, monks can DPS, tank, or heal.

The most unique, in my opinion.

Troll Trolls are a tribal race that originated from the jungles and forests of Azeroth, with each tribe having distinct cultures and beliefs. They are highly adaptive and have a long history on the continent, often displaying an affinity for shamanistic magic. The Darkspear Tribe Trolls are aligned with the Horde.

Trolls are better than every other race.

Trolls are the best, mon.

Da voodoo shuffle, mon.

Draenei The Draenei are a resilient race of Eredar who fled their homeworld, Argus, to escape corruption. They are guided by their faith in the Light and have established a new home on Azeroth. Known for their advanced technology and magic, they are strong allies of the Alliance.

I had, and still have, the most fun with Draenei. Heck, they were the first of the new two races I played when they came out.

The Draenei are beautiful. Not to mention they have Russian voice actors.

They're just right and easy to level up.

Blood Elf The Blood Elves are a race of High Elves who were transformed after the fall of their kingdom, Quel'Thalas. They are highly attuned to magic and have rebuilt their society with the aid of arcane energies. Blood Elves are members of the Horde and are dedicated to reclaiming their homeland's former glory.

Coolest race for each class, hands down.

The sexiest race in the whole game.

Great for killing magic enemies.

The Newcomers

? Vulpera The Vulpera are a small, nomadic fox-like race from the deserts of Vol'dun on Zandalar. They are resourceful survivors, known for their adaptability and keen instincts. Aligned with the Horde, they contribute their scavenging skills and cunning to their allies.
? Lightforged Draenei The Lightforged Draenei are a faction of Draenei who underwent rigorous trials to serve the Light, aligning closely with the Army of the Light. They have dedicated their lives to fighting the Burning Legion and protecting Azeroth. These Draenei are fierce warriors with a strong connection to the Light.
The Contenders
Gnome Gnomes are a diminutive but highly intelligent race, well-known for their expertise in engineering and technology. Originating from Gnomeregan, they often lend their mechanical ingenuity to aid the Alliance. Gnomes are resourceful and inventive, with a natural curiosity for innovation.

Who doesn't like little people!

Goblin Goblins are a crafty and entrepreneurial race that hail from the Isle of Kezan. Known for their quick wit and love of commerce, they often engage in mercantile ventures and engineering. Aligned with the Horde, Goblins provide their allies with innovative and often explosive technologies.

Come on, who doesn't love being a devious Goblin? Their story is hilarious and enjoyable. If you want a kick-butt character, a warlock or hunter Goblin makes for a fun time. "Sick 'em, mudcrab Mordecai!"

Nightborne The Nightborne are a race of elves who were isolated within the city of Suramar for thousands of years, sustained by the Nightwell's arcane power. They emerged from their isolation and eventually joined the Horde. The Nightborne possess refined magical skills and a rich cultural heritage.
Zandalari Troll The Zandalari Trolls are an ancient and noble race from the isle of Zandalar, with a deep connection to their loa gods. They are a proud and powerful people with a strong warrior tradition and rich history. The Zandalari have joined forces with the Horde to safeguard their empire's future.
