Top 10 Best Red Dead Redemption II Characters
Going into RDR2 for the first time, I thought nobody could be a better protagonist than John. But Arthur just takes the cake here. One of the best video game protagonists ever.
Such an amazing character. Reading his diary and hearing his conversations with gang members really showed his softer side. I love how his character evolves through the story.
One of the best video game protagonists in any game I've played. Hands down, a great character. Roger Clark, his voice actor, did an awesome job.
I think Rob Wiethoff will forever be remembered as John Marston. Why wouldn't he be? He's one of my favorite fictional characters ever.
One of the best characters in the game.
Amazing character.
Dutch is a very charismatic leader who needs more of his story explored. Even though he becomes an antagonist at the end, I still think he redeemed himself. He even says he didn't join Micah but tried to kill him! He needs his own DLC to explore his story.
While I love Arthur, I have to vote for Dutch. He's easily the most well-written character, and it's almost unbelievable to see how well his character is set up for the first game over the course of RDR2's story.
He's arguably the best-written video game antagonist of all time.
He's funny and more of a father to everyone in the gang than Dutch. Hosea was the reason Dutch was kept sane, and his death removed the shackles of rage within Dutch. His interactions with Arthur and the rest of the gang members were pretty entertaining too.
He's the father figure, grandfather figure, voice of reason, and the glue that kept the gang in check. He reminds me of both Johnny Gat and Yoda.
Arthur's dad.
Sadie is a big part of the storyline. She's awesome and a beautiful warrior.
It would be pretty cool if there was ever a DLC centered around Charles. He's one of the best characters in the game and one of the most likable.
He's one of the most reasonable people.
Lenny... How old was he when he died?
LEEEEENNNNNYYYYY!
Micah is a really well-designed villain. He's pure evil yet has a funny side. He's the kind of villain you love to hate. Micah is a much better villain than Bill or Ross from the first game.
Good antagonist. I also think he's funny.
Everyone is saying that he was a bad guy and whatever. But he was a pretty cool guy - he was just really loyal to Dutch.
Uncle is hilarious. He's a nice guy, but at the same time, he always has an excuse to get out of something physical. Overall, he's in my top three.
The Newcomers
Give some love to the Irish.
Why is Abigail's picture a picture of Mary Linton?
She's an amazing character and very useful. It's just sad that Sean's death hit her so hard.
She's the mother figure of the camp, and I love her.
When she took Arthur's side instead of Dutch's, I started to really like her. Too bad she just **** 5 seconds later.
He did not deserve that brutal death. Kieran was so sweet and kind.
Man's been missing for a while.
He was a total badass in the Battle of the Oil Fields.
