Top 10 Worst YouTube Gaming Channels

The Top Ten
1 DSPGaming

The only reason the guy isn't number 1 is thanks to the people fortunate enough to have never heard of him. Pigroach complains and insults developers over things that are almost always his fault. It's painfully obvious whenever he pauses to read stream chat or a guide because he can't follow basic instructions.

The guy tries to act reformed even though he constantly lets the mask slip. He has convinced a small group of people to give him thousands of dollars because he's never prepared for his bills, which have been recurring for years. He denies most of his poor financial decisions despite mountains of evidence showing more of his money going to iTunes microtransactions than his mortgage. His gouty hooves will ban just about anyone insulting him, his whales, or potentially referencing "detractor memes".

The only kind of editing he does is when he stops the recording to split the part and beg during this window so only his live audience witnesses his pathetic e-begging. His videos contain hours of dead air and zero progression as he bumbles around insulting developers and making poop jokes. Remember, he's a mature adult with a business degree.

A couple of my favorite moments were his bankruptcy hearing and when he rage quit a Kirby game.

2 PewDiePie Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg (born October 24, 1989), better known by his online alias PewDiePie, is a Swedish web-based comedian video producer, and commentary channel. He is best known for his Let's Play commentaries and Vlogs on YouTube. He is known for being the most subscribed-to YouTuber on the website for nearly 6 years, even though T-Series surpassed him and now has 240 million subscribers. As... read more

No surprises here. I like how he immersed himself in the horror genre in gaming, but honestly, I cannot watch his videos for more than 2 minutes because all he does is talk and talk and talk while waiting for an opportunity to scream like an idiot. He screams like this in almost every video, and it can get extremely boring after a while. More importantly, he has the worst fanbase in YouTube history. The fanbase consists of mostly 12-year-old kids who shouldn't be on the internet in the first place, and if they see a gaming video of the same game PewDiePie has played, the fans automatically accuse the other YouTuber of copying PewDiePie. Honestly, this is a perfect example of immaturity.

Long story short: PewDiePie used to be good. He played horror games about 3-4 years back. After a few years, he started to lose what made him special. Now, he plays uninteresting, pointless, and stupid games to appease his now absolutely horrible and overly-defensive fanbase filled with pre-teen girls, furries, bronies, weeaboos, scene kids, and any other worthless internet scum that you might come across. He is annoying. He screams like a child, acts immature just like his fanbase, and he pumps out more refuse every day than McDonald's pumps out every weekend. He is an absolutely terrible YouTuber who does not deserve the fame or money that he currently has. The only good thing I can say about this guy is his charity work, but that's really it.

3 TobyGames

He's entertaining in short bursts, but you can tell he's just puppy-milling out content. It's like he has a timer next to his computer to stopwatch an "episode". Happy Wheels is the best example. He'll play it to crank out an episode, make voices, squeal, then wrap it up and post it.

I guess he does this for like 4-5 other games during the day. He cranks out a lot of content, but it's like he's only really "playing" them for an hour a day. Sweet gig. Play games for an hour, post 6 videos, sit on your duff the rest of the day. Watch the ad revenue roll in.

He's got a shtick and at least he sticks with it. Consistency trumps quality. But, it gets old fast. And the production values are non-existent.

Pathetic. This guy is always in front of the camera, and it's obvious he's trying to copy others while attempting to be different. There's one problem: it's just so clear in everything he does. It's evident he's striving for uniqueness, and it's blatantly obvious he's faking his reactions to "entertain" the viewers. He laughs at anything, even if he doesn't find it amusing, and he gets angry, even though he's not genuinely mad. He's just exaggerating all these reactions to demonstrate what a reaction in a video game reaction video should be. All I know is that watching him is a complete waste of time and he lacks any real sense of humor in video games or any of his other videos.

4 SkyDoesMinecraft Adam Dahlberg (born: January 17, 1993), better known online as Sky Does Everything or NetNobody (formerly SkyDoesMinecraft), is an American YouTuber, video game commentator, and former animator who gained prominence for their precursory Minecraft appeal, referring the Minecraft gold ingot item as "budder" and hating squids in the game. They also sang the song "New World" as a Minecraft parody at Minecon... read more

I have recently watched a video on the SkyDoesMinecraft situation, and it's one of the saddest stories in YouTube history. Many remember him as a popular gaming YouTuber, not for his constant mental breakdowns. Following his breakup with his wife, he appeared on DramaAlert to discuss the situation, which escalated into an angry, tear-filled rant about his unfaithful relationship, exclaiming, "I JUST WANT MY SON!" This incident further deteriorated his mental health, yet he didn't seek help from a therapist to address his issues. Additionally, he started using drugs.

This situation is truly tragic. If you're ever feeling overwhelmed by life's events, it's crucial to consult a psychologist or therapist.

Sky, as previous commenters have said, used to be a great YouTuber, with great gameplay and personality. Today, he is rarely, if ever, commentating solo, and I find that annoying. His solo mod reviews and map playthroughs really entertained me. Instead, he does subpar mini-games with his friends, who are also better by themselves, and cracks ridiculously old and outdated jokes like "I'm too cool to die!" and "You can't catch me! You're too fat!". I don't know if that's meant to be funny, but I don't find myself laughing at and enjoying Sky's current uploads. The 'butter/budder' gimmick is also seriously getting stupid. Hop onto any Minecraft server, and there is bound to be that one 9-year-old Sky fanboy going "Budder rocks!", or some spam like that. SkyDoesMinecraft: One of the most annoyingly influential YouTubers out there. You can check out his content if you want, at your own risk, of course.

5 Ijustinegaming

Taking a quick look at the channel will easily tell you that it was just made to make a few extra bucks. I can hear her thinking, "Hey, is there any way I can play Minecraft while making money off of it? Wait."

Annoying, you can tell she doesn't actually care about the games. Going on her phone during the cutscenes, she pretends to be worse at the games than anyone even could be.

If you thought iJustine was bad enough, wait until you see her gaming channel.

6 Gligar13vids

Gligar13vids just ruined my whole life because he hates Super Mario 64 for the N64, my top 1 favorite video game of all time, which is very underrated.

His videos started to get more agreeable after his Smash 4 review (not saying Smash 4 is a bad game), but I still think he's your average pokephile/Xbox Fanboy.

You guys do realize his entire channel is a troll channel.

7 Markiplier Mark Edward Fischbach (born June 28, 1989), known online as Markiplier, is an American YouTube personality. Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, he began his career in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is currently based in Los Angeles, California.

I can't understand why Markiplier's fans think he really cares about them. He doesn't. He wouldn't be where he is today if it wasn't for his fans, but it's not like we all know Markiplier personally. And it's not like Markiplier is going to care about his precious fanbase anymore once he gets the money he wants. He's going to, at some point, become like PewDiePie and care about nothing but uploading videos for money, regardless of their content quality.

Look, I believe it's very generous that Markiplier donates to charity, and I know that he has gone through tough times in his life, but he's not a very good gamer. Someday, he's not going to care much about his fans, knowing that they don't know him personally, and that they don't know how he truly feels about things. How can he care so much for his fans and cry over the things that they do for him? I just can't understand.

It's not just him who is annoying and lame, but also his fan base of 14-year-old girls and childish fanboys, which make his name seem even worse than it already is. His inspiration, by the way, is nothing new to us since PewDiePie was already doing what he was doing three years before he ever did. About his videos, his taste in video games is absolutely bland and doesn't seem to have anything special about it. That proves that all he wants is attention on YouTube.

I used to like him back when he was playing SCP and Amnesia. I mean, those were decent games. But if he wants to discontinue playing good games, then he really isn't going anywhere with popularity, in my opinion. He doesn't deserve to call himself a gamer, or even a YouTube gamer. Not to mention that playing games drunk is absolutely stupid.

8 Annoying Orange Gaming

I can't even with this guy. His voice is like the Annoying Orange's! I mean, he's trying to be funny, but he's obnoxious and disturbing! I dislike this guy, not to be rude, but he needs to engage in more productive activities and stop spending all his time playing games. If you're going to do that, come up with a better username and speak properly! PewDiePie, Mark, and Jack are the only good gamers (and Dan and Phil) that I know. Actually get a life, dude!

This is a must! This should be number one! Also, how the hell is Pewdiepie number one? Those who voted for him must be 8 years old who don't watch anything else other than him and probably Stampylongnose.

Ugh, seriously. He's so damn annoying. (Hence the name.) I know it's actually meant to be annoying, but heck, it's gotten to the point where it's not even funny!

9 Jacksepticeye Seán William McLoughlin, born February 7, 1990, better known by his online pseudonym Jacksepticeye, is an Irish YouTube personality, known primarily for his comedic Let's Play series and vlogs. His most popular series include Happy Wheels, Five Nights at Freddy''s and Fortnite.

I never used to like Markiplier, and I don't like PewDiePie much anymore, but this guy is beyond annoying. I hate his videos. He just makes me mad. I don't know why. He seems to be a nice person, but I'm obviously not very nice now because I saw his channel on here, and now I'm mad. I hate his videos, and I probably always will. I wish he would stop making videos. I don't watch them, but the ones I did watch were really annoying. Flip a cow! I wish I didn't have this strong dislike for a person who seems to be very kind, but it's there, and I'm ashamed to say that this is one of my least favorite YouTube channels. Still, it's better than all those vlogging channels though.

Another typical YouTube "screamer," speaking in an obnoxiously loud voice, hoping that somewhere in his idiocy a joke will come out. Of course, fangirls will defend him to the death because, like Markiplier, they have some secret fantasy that they'll actually acknowledge their existence. Which they won't, because they don't care about you as an individual, just as a statistic. But whatever floats your boat, I guess, 12-year-old girl.

10 Kwebbelkop

I used to like watching Grand Theft Auto 5 videos until I stumbled on his channel. I expected decent gameplay based on the number of views and subscribers. Once I started watching a video, this guy screams as loud as he can during a race, then the others in his gameplay scream back, all trying to scream over one another.

I figured maybe it's just that video, but nope. Every single video is this guy screaming loud. It's unfortunate that he's not in the top 10. At least PewDiePie creates different content in his videos, unlike the SCREAMING KIDS making a fuss because they all crash their vehicles. If you ever watch a video, just make sure you turn down the speakers. Your ears will thank you.

He's a clickbaiter, using misleading thumbnails and capitalizing his video titles to deceive his audience. He copies other YouTubers' styles, even creating a series called "Copying other YouTubers." I hope he receives a copyright strike for using others' thumbnails and duplicating them in his videos.

Last but not least, he's incredibly annoying. His group, known as "Ro-bust," with his 'friends' Jelly and Slogoman, scream like little kids and mimic PewDiePie. Instead of engaging in a conversation, they talk over each other in their videos, which lack entertainment value. Their humor is dull, their reactions are exaggerated, and their constant screaming is reminiscent of PewDiePie's style, only amplified by the group dynamic. They should also pay attention to the complaints in the comments section.

The Contenders
11 UberHaxorNova

He yells in all of his videos extremely loud. It makes me cringe every single time. I would rather stab my ear holes out than listen to his videos. In every game, it's him overreacting in EVERY single one. It gets stupid and boring fast. I hate Pewds, but I find this one more annoying. He is an idiot to a T.

I hate him. Absolutely hate him. Enough said.

He's annoying as a whole.

12 Stampylonghead Joseph Garrett, known on YouTube as stampylonghead, is an English YouTuber who posts videos about the Sandbox Video Game Minecraft as the character Stampy. His Youtube channel was created in August 3 2006 and is still making videos in 2021.

He used to be good. I liked when he took out some of the swearing, but after he stopped it altogether, it drew in 5-year-olds. Why are they even on YouTube? This is how I'd like it: occasionally Minecraft or The Sims, but other games that older people might want like, I don't know, Call of Duty or Halo or something.

And he barely does anything in The Sims but run around, sending them to work and then throwing parties! It's made for more than that! I just can't believe what he turned into.

I can't watch his videos for more than 4 minutes without cringing. His fanbase mainly consists of 5 to 10-year-olds who shouldn't be on YouTube in the first place. His "fanbase" also acts in a way that is immature and is a pure example of why children should have limited access to the internet. Also known as the "child-friendly" side of YouTube. Since when was YouTube supposed to be for children? This guy's content is inappropriate.

13 Xxmysteriousmanxx

Simply TERRIBLE. Whenever he talks, he sounds like a zombie or some guy on drugs and says "like" WAY too much. He complains about everything and doesn't sound very engaged in what he's doing in his commentary. Clearly, he's just doing it for the money.

14 IntelligentCoDFanboy

"Intelligent" and "Call of Duty fanboy" can't work together.

Not really a gaming channel. He's just a troll.

The name is an oxymoron.

15 Ali-A Alastair Aiken, better known by his online alias Ali-A, is a British YouTuber known for Call of Duty and Fortnite commentaries and vlogs.

Watch Pyrocynical's video "Ali-A must be stopped." This guy is so bad that he's pretty insulting to Let's Plays and the gaming community on YouTube as a whole. I honestly feel like I owe MatPat an apology for not liking him because of this guy. At least MatPat put some form of effort into his videos.

Shave the beard.

16 Machinima Machinima, Inc. was a U.S.-based multiplatform online entertainment network owned by WarnerMedia. The company was founded in January 2000 by Hugh Hancock and was headquartered in Los Angeles, California. It originated as a hub for its namesake, machinima, which uses and manipulates video-game technology to create animation, as well as featuring articles on machinima and content about film and technology... read more

My only problem with Machinima is the fact that there are way too many members for their channel, and they upload a lot more videos than the average YouTuber.

Known for shady deals and mediocre content these days, it was once actually a pretty decent channel.

Machinima is like that shady pizza parlor down the street that will do anything for cash.

17 The Irate Gamer

It's also worth mentioning that the Irate Hack is notorious for ripping off and plagiarizing the Angry Video Game Nerd in some of his videos.

Basically, this guy is a plagiarist, following the Angry Gamer trend ignited by the success of James Rolfe. With the fall of the Angry Gamer trend, only a few survived like AVGN, AngryJoe, JonTron, and a few others, I think. Meanwhile, this and other plagiarists fell due to the aforementioned plagiarism.

18 SkylanderBoy and Girl

The Skykids act like a bunch of spoiled brats. And their parents aren't doing much better by continuously spoiling their children and constantly trying to be the center of everything. Seeing them all over the Skylanders side of YouTube is annoying enough. Too much attention-seeking for this kind of family who is overly obsessed with games.

So, a bunch of spoiled brats who overreact all the time so their money-hungry father can continue the money cycle somehow have 600,000 subs? The dad exploits his kids all the time, hence the 'buu wawltur' video. And it's even worse that, by the power of being money-hungry spoiled brats, they can go to E3. But man, I wish I was that guy who got to kick Chase.

You know, I notice that something has been consistent throughout this list: these YouTubers were all adults, no matter how childish they act. But this just takes it to a whole other level. 5-year-olds should not have YouTube channels! And it doesn't help that the kids are spoiled and their parents continuously spoil them by getting them the rarest Skylanders and stuff like that. It just doesn't make any sense.

19 TotalBiscuit

He has well-thought-out opinions and fairly decent critique skills, so why is he disliked? There are a few reasons. He can be very obnoxious when discussing consoles or PC hardware, exuding an incredibly smug attitude in this regard. He's always quick to boast about his excessively extravagant specs (two GTX Titans? Really?). His attitude towards frame rates or field of view is outright childish, claiming he gets sick or ill when they're too low. Come on, man. Furthermore, whenever he interacts with others who don't fit his idea of "mature," his tone conveys a sense of superiority. TL;DR: He's a good YouTuber with an awful ego.

He is obnoxious and acts like a child. I hate his accent, and he pisses me off every time he reviews a new game.

Whiny, entitled manchild who thinks a game review should sound like a press release. Boring.

20 EvanTubeGaming

My friend surprisingly likes his videos, but for me? He is a spoiled brat. This stupid YouTube channel was originally a father-son bonding thing, probably because he hated his father. And also, who likes Angry Birds & Skylanders?

Big spoiled brat whose parents let him have a camera and recording equipment. I hope he and his sister fight while recording. Embarrassing.

Oh God. I'm glad this idiot's here. He's way too immersed in Angry Birds for my liking. I prefer a mixture of funny commentary and multiple games.

21 Low Tier God

DSPGaming but black and doesn't really pretend to be mature. Dale insults and bans his viewers sometimes for seemingly no reason other than a power trip for his ego. This guy has a huge mouth for someone who is in competition with The Guy/Pigroach for being the worst at video games.

"Mentally untouchable"? More like you can easily get to him mentally. This guy is probably on par with or worse than DSP due to the fact that any character you beat him with, regardless of tier list, he claims it's either "luck" or "no skill," but he was virtually humiliated by Viscant and other people.

How is this guy not higher on this list?

22 Da90skid

He reviews good games and gets trashed by him for no reason?

He needs to get off of YouTube. Enough said.

Blech, so terrible. It disgusts me. He needs to get off right now. And how could Jackcepticeye, Markiplier, PewDiePie, and Annoying Orange be on this?

23 Best Trends
24 The Review Space

This guy is actually a huge troll. All he does is put decent games into his top worst games videos, and he's also a liar.

25 WhiteBoy7thst

How in the world does he have the subs he has? Dead accounts, fake accounts, proxy accounts from other countries? There's nothing he puts out that's worth watching.

Hands down, the biggest Call of Duty fanboy in YouTube history.

He got arrested for illegal possession of drugs.
