Top Ten Most Overrated Websites

Websites that are not good, yet extremely popular.

Here are the most overrated websites.
The Top Ten
1 YouTube YouTube is a global video-sharing website headquartered in San Bruno, California, United States. The service was created by three former PayPal employees on February 14, 2005. In November 2006, it was acquired by Google for US$1.65 billion. YouTube is ranked as one of the most visited websites, securing... read more

Easily the most overrated site of all time. It was so good back then, so no wonder it got so popular.

But now it's bad, and yet it's still popular. It's full of fetishes, drugs, and violence. It's everywhere. People need to respect each other and either move on from this site or make it good again. It's so overrated.

YouTube is becoming the next RedTube. It even has a service called YouTube Red, which is similar to RedTube, a site centered on porn. It's just so gross.

Users like Drew Monson, Matthew Lush, Joey Graceffa, PewDiePie, Jenna Marbles, Shane Dawson, and others make junky videos with awful jokes just to make money. They are so sick and seem to have no friends or life.

Facebook is too overrated. It's still so popular despite all the bullying and harassment. It needs to change its attitude back.

I almost never use it anymore. It just doesn't interest me.

I have one, but I never use it, and I'm thinking of deleting it.

3 Twitter X (formerly known as Twitter) is an online news and social networking service where users post and interact with messages, also known as "tweets", restricted to 280 characters.

I've tried to get into this site three times since 2006, and each time, no matter how much the site has evolved or improved, I just couldn't see what made it worth the time.

Twitter is easily overrated. It's full of bullying and harassment. It used to be good, but people are taking it the wrong way.

Popular greedy YouTube channels use it, Donald Trump uses it, Ed Boon uses it... yeah.

4 Instagram

Easily like Snapchat but better. Still, it's not worth going on, considering all the bullying, violence, and fetishes.

In my opinion, playing games is better than mindlessly watching other people do things. At least you are doing something, right?

8 Snapchat Snapchat is an American multimedia instant messaging app and service developed by Snap Inc., originally Snapchat Inc. One of the principal features of Snapchat is that pictures and messages are usually only available for a short time before they become inaccessible to their recipients. Snapchat is so overrated. It's just snapping weird selfies and communicating with perverts through the pics.

Not a reliable site for information. People can contribute their own messages, and they're not always right. Please don't ever trust Wikipedia or any wiki.

Check the citations used in Wikipedia to determine its reliability. Wikipedia has been a reliable source for me most of the time.

I won't lie. Some of the editors there are defensive about their own pages.

15 Tumblr Tumblr is a microblogging and social networking website founded by David Karp in 2007, and owned by Oath Inc.
16 MySpace

A great site until it got contaminated with junk. It has lost so much quality that it's no longer worth visiting.

17 CartoonNetwork.com

A once good site until the downfall of Cartoon Network. It's full of violence and drugs, and there are ads about those too.

I hate the new games based on crappy shows like Uncle Grandpa and Clarence!

18 Musical.ly
19 Xvideos
20 IMDb The Internet Movie Database is an online database of information related to films, television programs and video games, including cast, production crew, fictional characters, biographies, plot summaries, trivia and reviews, operated by IMDb.com, Inc., a subsidiary of Amazon.

I really don't hate this website as a whole, and I DO regret putting it on the list.

But honestly, IMDb is supposed to be a website to gather data and research on movies, TV shows, etc., including the people behind them and the technology used. It's not supposed to be a den for trolls, biased and delusional fanatics, pretentious elitists, stupid spammers, or others who are a combination of all of the above. Once again, I'm sorry for putting that website on the list.

IMDb.com, the Internet Movie Database, was once an interesting website to gather official data about movies and TV shows but has now gone downhill because it started including data about video games, internet videos, etc.

To make matters worse, it is now infested with trolls, spammers, and biased snobs who think they are smarter than you without even knowing what they're talking about. They claim to know what makes a movie good or bad, often believing that the 70s represent the pinnacle of filmmaking achievements. I understand the significance of that decade, but everyone's entitled to their own opinions.

Another reason the site declined is that it allowed users to make their own lists. Most of these lists are generic, often focusing on overrated movies and shows, offering pathetic excuses or no reasons at all.

21 Fox News
22 Discord
23 Nick.com

Nickelodeon was good until 2004, but ever since then, it has gone downhill, and so has its website.

The new arrangement is slow and full of ads that expose kids to harmful content like violence, fetishes, and drugs. It also advertises the worst shows, such as Breadwinners, Sanjay and Craig, and The Thundermans. The don't touch button scares kids and fills their minds with junk. Please stay away from that site.

24 Fanfiction.net

Constant crack couples, senseless crossovers, and horrible characterizations are some of the reasons why I don't look at FanFiction.Net anymore.

25 Google.com Google is an American multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products. These include online advertising technologies, search, cloud computing, and software.
