Here are the top monsters of the Godzilla Showa Era. This list does not include Godzilla but all the monsters he fought against or with.
Even though he doesn't get much screen time in any of the movies he appears in Manda makes the most of it. Who doesn't love a cool dragon walking down the boulevard with bombs exploding next to him.
King Ghidorah is one of Godzilla's most well known enemies. First appearing in 1964's Ghidorah, the Three Headed Monster, he has gone on to appear in more films than most other Godzilla foes. From the first time you see Ghidorah he is just amazing! So powerful and cool looking. Both he and Manda have the serpent/ dragon head which is the coolest in the series.
When you see King Caesar explode out of the mountain and see him for the first time you are totally amazed how cool he looks.
The oldest monster behind Godzilla in the series. Probably the coolest roar out of any monster.

Like Megalon, Gabera only appeared in one movie, All Monsters Attack. I always thought he was a cool and unique monster. From the green skin to his roar. Completely underrated as a Monster.
