Egnomac's Loud House Episode Review Season 2 Episode 23B Not A Loud
egnomac S2 Episode 23B Not a Loud, When Lincoln discovers his baby book is blank he worries his parents are hiding something.The episode begins with Lincoln searching in the attic for his baby book for a class project where everyone has to do a report on the day they were born with tomorrow being his turn. According to him mom and dad keep detail baby books for all of them as he looks through the sisters until he gets to his baby book only to find the section of his birth story is blank and goes to ask his parents who are incredibly nervous when he asks. Lincoln attempts to get answers but every time he asks a question like what time of day he was born, how much did he weigh and the doctor name they give completely different answers as Lincoln asks whats going on and they both say "Nothing" as Lincoln replies "Well at least you agree on that one". Convinced that his parents are hiding something Lincoln looks to get to the bottom of it as Clyde agrees to help him. Lincoln decides to ask his older sisters for any information, he first asks Lori who tells him on the day he was born Pop Pop was watching her and the others and a car pulled up and a scientist wearing a mask and gloves stepped out carrying him as Lincoln replies "A scientist" as Clyde overhearing the conversation from outside the door replies "Did you say a scientist?" as Lori friendly says high to Clyde who freaks out.
Not sure what to make of Lori's story Lincoln begins to think that he was created by the scientist as he digs into his drawer and pull out one a DVD of Larry the Lab-Boy as the two think he may a super hero so they run some test which include super strength and super speed Lincoln fails at both and looks to Leni for more information as she tells him he was carried in by an eagle which props them to think Lincoln is some kind of half boy half eagle like Erik the Eagle Boy as Lincoln points out Erik could do all that eagle stuff as the pair do another series of field test to see if Lincoln is half eagle. The first Lincoln attempts to fly and fails then Clyde attempts to feed Lincoln a can of worms and he begins vomiting in the bathroom. With another failure Lincoln and Clyde turn to Luna who explains that mom and dad were carrying him several men in dark suits and sunglasses surrounded the house and begins talking on their radio's. More confused then ever Clyde then begins thinking Lincoln could be could be an alien due to another one of his DVD's A.L.A.N. the Alien Boy and do another field test and try to see if Lincoln can open doors with his mind as he tries opening the bathroom door at first he thinks he's done it as the door opens only to find out it was opened by Lana who was using it and tells them to wait a minute before going in, the next test Clyde suggest they sever one of Lincoln's limb as A.L.A.N. can regenerate his limbs as Lincoln immediately convinces him he's not an alien.
The boys then go to Luan as she explains they were happy to finally have a brother as they though they he would be a girl as mom and dad decorated his room for a girl and thought they brought home the wrong baby as she laughs as she leaves leading to Lincoln to think that his parents wanted a boy so badly they paid the doctor to switch with another based off another of his DVD's Ricky the Wrong Baby. Looking to get to the bottom of it Lincoln looks up all the birth announcements and find the families and see if one of them could be his. The Boys search each of the families and though many of the kids look like they could be a possible Loud they fail to find any parents that look like they could be Lincoln's, they nearly give up until they get to the final family and see parents with white hare like Lincoln's then see a girl who looks like Lori with braces like Luan, plays guitar like Luna and eats spicy subs like Lynn this causes the pair to worry that about Lincoln not being a real Loud. Lincoln and Clyde confront his parents as he explains that knows his real birth story about switching him with another family at birth and they immediately laugh at the ridiculousness of his theory and assure him that he is their son and decide to finally tell him the real story of his birth.
Lynn Sr. and Rita explain the story which began like any other day with Rita's water breaking and Lynn Sr. driving her to the hospital as they have Pop Pop to watch his sisters. While on their way to the hospital the van breaks leaving them stranded when a limo pulls out which turns out to be the president of the united states and his wife as they agree to drive them to the hospital but realizing their not going to make it time the president decides to deliver Lincoln himself but passes out along with Lynn Sr. as the first lady delvers him instead and the reason they never told him was because the president was headed to his secret safe house in Royal Woods and had to sign an agreement that they would never discus it. They also answer all of Lincoln's questions that his sisters told him like them decorating his room for a girl seeing as they already had 5 girls and were using the stuff they had, the men in black suits were the secret service, the scientist with gloves and mask was the first lady and the whole thing about what Leni said about Lincoln being carried by an eagle as Lynn Sr. secretly pull out blanket with the presidential seal as Lincoln is amazed being delivered by the first lady as Clyde can't wait for him to tell the class as Rita points out he can't since its suppose to be top secret as Lynn Sr. apologizes for not telling him about his birth as Lincoln is glad they can still call them as he hugs his parents as Clyde cries tears of joy as he blows his nose on the presidential blanket before Lynn Sr. reminds him how valuable the blanket is. Despite finally getting to the bottom of his real birth Clyde and Lincoln still have not solved the mystery of his white hair as they look up another DVD Ron the Radioactive Boy a boy with white hair with mutant abilities and they do yet another field test as the episode ends.
On the one hand this episode does reveal that Lincoln is in fact a Loud as several theory's suggest that Lincoln may actually may have been adopted and I really liked how Lynn Sr. and Rita were able to reveal Lincoln his birth story and he can once again call him his parents, with that out of the way, Yeah the story itself of Lincoln being born in the president's limo is just ridiculous and literally sounds like they were making it up as they went along and its hard to take the story serious, another note a lot of the episode ends up feeling like nothing but filler with the boys doing field tests to see if Lincoln has super powers based off a couple of DVD's, despite all this I still enjoyed the episode for what it is and it was heartwarming when Lincoln hears the truth and is able to once again call them his parents and I also liked how Lincoln goes to ask his sisters about his birth though he asks his older sisters he never asks Lynn and later when they were spying on the families to see if they could really be Lincoln's and seeing possible Loud kids. Though the idea of Lincoln being born in the president's limo is completely ridiculous I still enjoyed the episode though not great its still an OKAY EPISODE another note this was the last episode to air before Chris Savino's firing on on October 19,2017 for sexual misconduct.
