Egnomac's Loud House Episode Review Season 2 Episode 25B Anti-Social

egnomac S2E25B Anti Social, When Lynn Sr. threatens to cut off the internet due to everyone constantly being glued to their phones the kids attempt to show him the wonders of modern technology.

The episode starts with Lynn Sr. arriving home as he greets the family but finds everyone including his wife Rita are glued to their phones and fail to notice him, he tries to get their attention but to no avail, failing to get their attention he slams the door really hard until they finally notice as Leni says hi to him and asks him why he is so upset as he explains that he's lost his family to their devices and reminds them that they use to do stuff together and now can't get them to look up when he comes in the door and asks why they can't just put them down once in a while as Lori explains their whole lives depend on them as Lynn Sr. annoyed threatens to cut off the internet if they don't start spending less time on their phones which causes the kids to panic as Luna cries out "Whoa pops is talking crazy, doesn't he get how croosh these babies are to our lives, he might as well as cut off out oxygen supply" as Lori says thats it as Lucy explains how grim that is even for her as Lori corrects her as she states the only reason dad is against their devices is that he doesn't get them and they can show him how easier it can make his life. Later Lynn Sr. comes in carrying grocery's as he reads over his to do list which include telling Lucy her funeral dress is back from the cleaners, letting Luna know he can drive her to rehearsal tonight and Lola that she can't watch TV till she finishes her homework, he notices Lori as he says hi to her but gets annoyed to see her ignore him while on her phone as he reminds her of what they talked about earlier but Lori informs him that she has sent text messages to Lucy, Luna and Lola on dad's to do list which amazes Lynn Sr. as Lori explains how handy texting can be especially with 11 kids as she teaches him which proves to be tricky.

Next scene Lynn Sr. rushes to the bathroom only to find a line as Lincoln attempts to help him keep his mind off the wait with a mobile game but Lynn Sr. declines until Lincoln mentions that Leni is in the bathroom trying out a new hair color as Leni screams "Totes not a redhead, starting over!" as Lynn Sr. gives in as Lincoln suggest a game called raging river racers where you have to paddle down a rushing river, trying to escape a giant gushing wave, this doesn't help dad so Lana and Lola push him away and suggest "Jolly Hollow" where players built pretty houses to show off to their friends. Dad becomes instantly hooked so much so that he doesn't need to use the bathroom anymore. Next up dad asks Leni's opinion on which of his photos he should submit for his high school reunion but neither photo's are good enough so she takes a photo of dad and uses a filter to make a more presentable photo which again amazes Lynn Sr. as Leni also tells him he can even post his photo's on "SwiftyPic' which is an app that lets him share photos with friends and family. Luna and Luan also help dad get the word out about his gig by making him a band page which is like putting up a flier that anyone with a computer can see and Luan tells him he can also stream the concert so thousands can see it. The kids plan to get dad hooked on technology works, so much so that dad decides to get the family an even faster internet as the kids celebrate.

However just like in Vantastic Voyage things go south very fast as dad becomes too hooked on technology and goes way overboard starting with sending embarrassing photo's of the kids as Lori angrily shouts at dad for posting an embarrassing photo of her awkward stage while Lincoln tells her not to be embarrassed as everyone sends posts old photos like that and that they are harmless that is until she shows him dad's new post which is a photo of him when he was very little using the potty with the hashtag potty tag hashtag Linky made a stinky which causes him to pass out as dad takes a photo of him to post. During dinner dad does a live stream of him making pizza while the kids wait impatiently for the food, the food finally arrives but dad tells them not to touch it yet as he has to take photo's of them for SwiftyPic while the kids are forced to sit there starving but then dad says he can't post the photo's as their too ug as he tosses the pizzas out the window causing everyone to cry out in annoyance. The next day ironically the kids end up acting like dad as they like in the beginning when they ignored dad due to being on their phone are too ignored as dad is too focused on his devices too notice them until Lori also like dad slams the door to get his attention as they attempt to get him to put away his devices just for a second only for him to turn into a rabid dog and snaps at them.

The kids begin to complain about dad's new behavior on him always being on his devices all day and not putting them down even for a second and ignoring them as the kids realize they have turned dad into them and finally understand why he was so upset with them always being on their devices all the time and ignoring him as Lola wonders how they get the old dad back as Lori realize they have to take drastic measures to snap him out of it by having the internet turned off which causes dad to become hysterical and panic as they kids explain that they had to do it as he's been obsessed with his devices which is also their fault as they tell him they miss spending time with him as he breaks down in tears as he apologizes to them as Lori suggest they put away the devices for a while as dad tires to hand over his phone to her but then refuses as the kids struggle to take the phone away as he goes on saying he can't as he's hooked on them that he can't live without them as Lori assures him they'll get through this together one step at a time as she turns off her phone. The kids do everything they can to help kick dad out of his attachment to his phone by having him take part in their activities which proves to be difficult but eventually they all manage to kick him of his habit as he puts way his devices as he gets ready to make dinner. As soon as dad leaves Lisa asks now that they cured him should they send word to their internet provider to get the rest of them back online as Lori suggest they can wait another day as the rest agree as dad calls out that dinner is ready as the family enjoy the rest of their evening without the use of their devices as the episode ends.

Its no surprise this is indeed a GOOD EPISODE Not only that but it has a really good message about not spending too much time on your devices and to enjoy life outside of technology and spending more time with loved ones, its a message that a lot of people can really appreciate. The episode had a lot of memorable moments like how the kids help teach dad to use the technology and later when dad goes overboard with them, while the episode kind of plays out like the episode "Vantastic Voyage" where the kids manipulate dad into doing something but unlike that episode "Anti-Social" does this so much better and is less frustrating, my favorite part of the episode is the 3rd act when the kids realize they have turned dad into them and realize how much they ignored dad with being on their devices all the time and decide to have the internet cut off and later enjoy a real good day without their devices. Once again a really good episode and worth checking out.
