Egnomac's Loud House Episode Review Season 2 Episode 26A Snow Way Out
egnomac S2E26A Snow Way Out, Lana convinces the siblings to go the Burpin Burger in an attempt to meet her favorite race car driver and hero Bobbie Fletcher despite the heavy snowfall.The episode starts with Leni hilariously trying to defrost dad's goulash as Lori points out she should use the stove instead, Lana interrupts them as she tells the others that her favorite race car driver Bobbie Fletcher is having a contest at the Burpin Burger where the person who finds the winning wrapper will become an honorably member of her pit crew. Lana then goes on saying she knows what they are going to say that mom and dad left them plenty of food while they were away for the weekend but before she can finish the kids are already in the van ready to go, Lana calls down Hops as Lisa warns them of the rapidly descending snow as Lana manages to get her to come along by telling her she can stay and eat the goulash as Lisa rushes in the van calling "shotgun". The kids arrive at the Burpin Burger where Bobbie Fletcher is giving a presentation before starting the contest as everyone lines up looking to get the winning wrapper Flip rushes to the front of the line and orders a dozen burgers looking to find the winning wrapper to sell for big bucks, Flip receives the burgers but is miffed that none of the burgers had the winning wrapper as he leaves looking to come back when he has more money, Lana then orders for the kids and pays using a coupon for kids eat free and for some reason has an owl foot with her as Grant the cashier and apparently the only one working there accepts the coupon but then cringes when she mentioned the owl's foot as Luan makes a pun "Isn't she a hoot"then laughs as Grant calls for the next customer. Lana brings in the burgers and tells everyone to dig in as they jump in like rabid dogs moments later they finish eating but Lana is sadden that none of the wrappers contained the winning wrapper as Leni comforts her saying sorry that they weren't able to find the winning wrapper.
Lisa looks out the window and sees the snow dropping rapidly and suggest they leave but Lana refuses to leave until she gets her winning wrapper and suggest they have another round as Lincoln questions how they are going to pay for them. Lana with Hops help steals back the coupon they used earlier from the cash register to order another round which really doesn't make much sense since normally a coupon can only be used once but for some reason Lana is able to get more burgers for free with Grant not realizing its the same coupon from earlier. The kids eat the burgers but to Lana's disappointment there's still no winning wrapper as she still insists on ordering more burgers but Lisa points out the other customers are leaving due to the snow storm getting much worse and suggest they do the same but Lana still refuses to leave until she get that winning wrapper but the kids are too full to eat but Lana tells them they can just take them home for breakfast, she tries again to get the coupon back to get more free burgers but Grant catches her and tears up the coupon and tells her if she wants more burgers she's going to have to pay for them. With no other choice Lana begins searching all over the restaurant looking for any money lying around, she manages to get enough to buy more and for some reason has a chicken beak with her as Grant gives her the burgers he asks if their almost done as he really wants to leave before the snow storm gets worse as he rode his bike to work. Sadly like before they still don't get the winning wrapper which causes Lana to mope over not going to be on Bobbie Fletcher's pit crew but to everyone's surprise Leni ends up getting the winning wrapper which excites Lana for finally having her chance to be a part of Bobbie Fletcher's pit crew as Grant too is relived as he can now go home but as they get ready to leave Leni walks directly into a wall of snow as Lincoln realizes they are snowed in, Grant begins panicking as he states he just worked a 12 hour shift and can't bear to be stuck there all night as he attempts to leave which proves to be pointless as he tries to rush past the snow but gets stuck as well as the kids pull him back in as Luan tells him "Sorry buddy, but there's snow way out" as she giggles which doesn't make him feel any better as he begins crying.
The episode has the same premise as Mall of Duty another great season 2 episode with this time Lana learning to put her family ahead of her own needs and wants like in Mall of Duty she convinces her siblings to go the Burpin Burger despite the oncoming snow storm so she can find the winning wrapper so she can be on her favorite hero's pit crew and when they end up getting stuck there and Flip offers to help them out she is unwilling to part with it especially since she and the family worked so hard for it. The one thing I really didn't like about the episode is how much of a douche Flip is as he only wants the winning wrapper so he can sell it for big bucks and only agrees to help the Louds if Lana gives up her winning wrapper and when she doesn't he leaves the kids trapped inside the Burpin Burger after her purposely slams his truck into the building causing more snow to cover the path he made previously. Getting back to what I was saying earlier its only when Hops shows Lana how miserable and freezing her siblings are that she scarifies her wrapper to Flip for assistants but in the end Lana still wins as Flip drives them home she is able help her hero Bobbie Fletcher and not only impresses her but gives her a spot on her pit crew when she's 18 which is exactly what Lana wanted all along and Flip does get a little comeuppance when Fletcher buries him in snow. A couple of moments I really enjoyed was Lana stealing back the coupon to get more burgers then she tries again and gets busted as she then has to search all over the place for more money to buy more burgers, I also found it very touching when Lana is sadden when she doesn't find the winning wrapper and Leni comforts her, and of course we also have to talk about the Burpin Burger employee Grant who is voiced by Lincoln Loud's original voice actor back in season 1 Grant Palmer he has plenty of funny moments but for me the two biggest highlights of the episode are Lana sacrificing her winning wrapper to Flip for her siblings and Lana helping out Bobbie Fletcher and getting a guaranteed spot on her pit crew in the future. Overall its indeed a GOOD EPISODE interesting facts Bobbie Fletcher is voiced by Karsyn Elledge who is the niece of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and granddaughter of the late Dale Earnhardt Sr., originally this episode is actually the final episode of season 2 but in several airings this episode comes before its sister episode "Snow Way Down", there's also one plot hole that needs to be pointed out as frogs are cold blooded meaning that realistically Hops would have died from being in the snow which obviously was done for story purposes.
