Egnomac's Loud House Episode Review Season 2 Episode 26B Snow Way Down

egnomac SE26B Snow Way Down, When Lincoln goes on vacation with Clyde he quickly sees how overprotective Clyde's dads are.

The episode starts with Lincoln occupying Clyde and his dads on a vacation trip as they happily sing as they drive along the road as he breaks the fourth wall as he tells the audience that he's on his first vacation with Clyde and his dad's, they pass by a large ramp which Harold explains is called the Ramp of Insanity in which you can reach speeds up of 100 miles an hour then be launch 500 feet in the air as he asks if they get to go on it as Howard passes out as Harold hilariously replies "And That is why I'm doing the driving, let me translate for Howie, NO!!!". Clyde assures Lincoln that they will still have plenty of fun stuff to do as he revives Howard as he asks what happened as Clyde explains he passed out when they asked about the Ramp of Insanity as Howard passes out again. They finally arrive at the cabin as Lincoln quickly exits the car before being stopped by Clyde's dads as they clear the snow path as Clyde explains his dad's don't want them to slip on the ice, they enter the cabin and again is stopped by Clyde's dad again as they buff the wooden floors as Clyde again explains that his dads' don't want them to get splinters. This continues as every time Lincoln and Clyde try to do something Clyde's dad's stop them and make things safe for them as Clyde explains why they do it, when they try to go outside they force them to wear heavy coats making them hard to move around, when they try to do some sledding they stop them and tie mattresses all over the trees and wrapping Lincoln and Clyde in bubble wrap while on the sled and remove all ramps, stop them from having a snowball fight which begins irritating Lincoln and they give them cold hot chocolate because of reasons.

Tired of how things have been going Lincoln talks with Clyde about how his dads are being too overprotective with him as he points out that he's wearing a couch seat belts as Clyde realizes he's right and goes to talk to his dads as he tells them their being too overprotected which causes them to panic as Clyde goes on saying he's not a little kid anymore and they need to let go and though they are hesitant they do decide to try and let go. Lincoln and Clyde attempt to do some sledding but again Clyde's dad's interfere again which upsets Clyde as he reminds them they were going to learn to let go as they tell them that they're just not there yet and think he's not ready to face the world on his own as Clyde storms off. The next day Lincoln is woken up by Howard's screaming as he rushes to see what's wrong as he slides across the smooth wooden floor and hits the wall, he asks what's wrong as Howard becomes hysterical as he passes out as Harold explains that Clyde is gone and left a note which reads "I'm off to sled the Ramp of Insanity, I hope this will prove to you that I'm capable of taking care of myself!" as Lincoln blames himself for Clyde leaving to sled the Ramp of Insanity as he explains the whole situation of how he told Clyde how they have been too overprotective over him as Howard recovers as Lincoln calls Clyde over on his walkies talkie but finds he left it behind which causes Howard to cry as Harold stops them as they go to the Ramp of Insanity to find him.

They arrive and see what looks like Clyde at the top of the ramp they call him to come down but when he doesn't they decide to go up but try to dissuade Lincoln into going but Lincoln insists on going up to save Clyde. They all climb the very fragile ladder leading up but to their surprise Clyde's not there and what they saw was actually a sign as Howard panics again as he cries out "Where's my baby" as they try to climb down the stairs break leaving them stranded at the top of the ramp with no way of getting down. Moments later Clyde returns to the cabin but finds everyone is gone he calls Lincoln over the walkies talkie as Clyde explains that he couldn't go down the Ramp of Insanity as Lincoln and the McBride's tell him that they're stuck at the top of the Ramp of Insanity as Clyde comes to their rescue. Clyde arrives at the ramp unable to get help from the ranger as he decides to rescue them himself despite his dad's being worried, Clyde manages to come prepare as he puts his plan into action as Clyde is able to reach them but there's not time to relax as the Ramp begins to fall apart as Clyde brings out his sled as tells everyone to hold on as they go down the ramp as it falls apart as they are launched in the air as everyone minus Clyde screams in terror as Clyde manages to have a parachute allowing them to land safely as Clyde's dad's apologize to him realizing Clyde can take care of himself as Clyde reminds them its all because of what they taught him of always being prepared as they agree to be less overprotected and let go as they embrace in a hug and drag Lincoln in as well. Finally ready to let go allowing the boys to sled and have fun as Harold tells Howard they're finally getting the hang of finally not being so overprotective as Howard passes out again as Harold goes to get the smelling salt as the episode ends.

Like Snow Way Out feels like a rewrite of Mall of Duty Snow Way Down feels like a rewrite of Roughing It but is done much better, this is by far the best Clyde centered episode so far and even though Harold and Howard can be a bit annoying with their over-protectiveness its not out of character and doesn't hurt the episode in the slightest and does deliver a positive message of not being so over-protective and trusting your kid to figure out the world based on your teachings, the biggest highlight of the episode is when Clyde comes to Lincoln and his dad's rescue and proves to them that he can take care of himself thanks to their teachings and are finally ready to let go and not be so over-protective of him, this is no surprise a GOOD EPISODE and a good one to end the second season.

An that is every Season 2 episode of the Loud House now once again to look at the stats.
32: GOOD Episodes
12: OKAY Episodes
2: Bad Episodes
3: EEDIOTIC Episodes

Overall a much better season with far less bad episodes and huge improvement but the three EEDIOTIC episodes are some of the worst of the series even compared to the first season on the series and now to take a look at the Top 5 Best and Worst Episodes of the season

Bottom 5 Episodes
5. Cheater By the Dozen
Could have been better if it was structured much better and Clyde wasn't involved in the episode

4. Vantastic Voyage
Lynn Sr. behavior is just so annoying and not funny though he does change and realize the error of his way but it still doesn't save the episode the only part of the episode I enjoyed was the scenes with Lori, Leni and Steve

3. Making the Grade
Its just an excuse to torture Lincoln as Lisa repeatedly gets Lincoln punished for her actions and never apologizes for all the torment he gets because of her.

2. No Such Luck
Infuriating episode that has Lincoln suffering unfair treatment from his family even being kicked out of his own house and not being allowed to come along on their trip because Lynn calls him bad luck, its not funny and incredibly mean spirited but at least the family do apologize to him in the end which is the only redeemable moment in the episode.

1. Brawl in the Family
An for the worst episode of the second season Brawl in the Family, nothing about this episode redeemable its 11 minutes of hell as characters act incredibly out of character, its not funny, its not entertaining its just frustrating avoid this one at all cost.

Top 5 Best Episodes
5. Tricked
Very creative episode and really has a lot of fun with it, it also features one of the best Loud House songs "You Got Tricked".

4. The Loudest Mission: Relative Chaos
Another really great special focused on Ronnie Anne and having to deal with the unfortunate news that her mom is moving them to the city to live with their extended family and at first she resents this but eventually learns to accept the move, its also a great pilot episode to the recently new spin off series The Casagrandes.

3. Yes Man
Really heartwarming episode that shows just how great Lincoln's sisters really are and how much they love their brother after he helps them to get money from mom and dad which later results in him being unable to get money from them to buy a ticket to a private SMOOCH concert and the sisters to show their appreciation for everything he did for them hold their own private concert even bringing in SMOOCH to perform.

2. L is for Love
Really love this episode and a great representation of the LGBT community revealing Luna's crush to be a girl named Sam, I also loved seeing the others dealing with their crushes as well.

1. 11 Louds a Leapin'
An amazing Christmas special with a lot of heart and a deeper meaning to what the holiday is really about and liked Tricked has one of the best Loud House songs "That's what Christmas is All About".

An that's it for season 2 as I move on to Season 3 this is Egnomac signing off.
