Top 10 Best Mel Gibson Movies
Some actors have a screen presence. Then there's Mel Gibson, who can walk into a scene looking half-calm, half-dangerous, and make you feel like something huge is about to happen. When you watch his best movies, you get grit, swagger, chaos, and just enough heart to keep the whole thing from turning into pure mayhem.
That is what makes picking his strongest roles so much fun for you. One film might give you war cries and wild ambition, while another hits you with a cop on the edge, a haunted hero, or a man staring down disaster with the kind of face that says this day is already going terribly.

Braveheart
This movie is the reason everyone should know the name of Mel Gibson. It has everything: violence, love, revenge, and spectacular lines. "They can take our land, but they can never take our FREEDOM!" This was outstanding and his best movie. FREEDOM.
"They may take our lives, but they'll never take OUR freedom." One of the best quotes from one of the best movies ever.
Best film I have ever seen in my entire life. Greetings to Mel Gibson and the Scottish people from Egypt.

-
The Patriot
I really enjoy this movie. While I'm not a master of its imagery and such, I can say I really enjoyed the mood presented. Although it kind of portrays the British a little too much as evil or ruthless villains, I still enjoyed it very much. I like The Patriot better than Braveheart. While both are good, The Patriot is better for me because I really like the American Revolutionary War.
For the most part, it's accurate about the Revolutionary War. Mel gave an outstanding performance, and Heath Ledger did a wonderful job for his first film. I believe it was filmed in the accurate territories. The movie was just one of the finest and is one of my favorites.

We Were Soldiers should be above Signs. Are you kidding me? It should be 1. Braveheart, 2. The Patriot, 3. We Were Soldiers, and the rest can be whatever.
An amazing movie that made me forget how much of an anti-Semite Mel Gibson is.
