Such a good movie

Doesn't try and force any made-up written agenda. Just tells the story, in all of its gore and bloodshed.

During school last year, we had to watch a movie very similar to this one made way back somewhere a long time ago. I don't remember the name of the movie, but I do remember that I had nightmares for a long time.

While it is agreed to be an incredible movie from both a religious and non-religious audience, it is not structured like a standard Christian movie. It is telling a story based on the book of Exodus in the Bible. There is no clear Christian directed message and no scenes that rely on emotions from faith. Though, that may be exactly why this works as a movie based off of Christianity. It manages to be entertaining and have captivating storytelling with emotional moments but not a heavy reliance on them like most other Christian films will do. This film simply displays the power of the Almighty and the deliverance He promises us when we put our Faith in Him. A prime example of show don't tell, and a unique masterpiece among Christian films.

A beautiful testimony that first appears as a tragedy. A story conveying how one can discover how God can reveal new things to us if we continue to believe.
