Top Ten Bands that Should Make the Big Four of New Wave of British Heavy Metal

The only thing anyone knows them for is that Metallica covered Am I Evil. That’s sad. The Diamond Head version of Am I Evil is the best version, even though I think Metallica is a better band.
I think Lemmy just said it in wide way. Many rock bands call themselves rock n roll bands. But I don't see any rock n roll in them. Its just a simple form. They are not only fast but they also use modern rock instruments. Old rock n' roll is quite different. It has a lot of uses of saxophones, piano rhythms, double bass (guitar), incomplete drum sets and some old guitar distortion. They had driven more punk sound than rock n' roll.

I love Motörhead. I would not put them here, though. I wouldn't put them anywhere, they are one of a kind. If Black Sabbath is the godfather of Heavy Metal, then Motörhead is definitely the godfather of Trash Metal.
So as for the style:
1. Maiden
2. Priest
3. Motorhead (I'm not easy on this one, since time-wise they may fit, but otherwise)
4. Saxon
Venom is more thrash metal than
I needed another list entry.
