  1. Train of Thought

    The entire album is loud and heavy. All the tracks are some of the heaviest Dream Theater has to offer. Lyrically, it's also very heavy. If you are a fan of heavy progressive metal, don't miss it. It will not disappoint you.

    This is a damn heavy and aggressive album. Especially the last track, where in one part, James is screaming and singing normally at the same time via layered vocals.

    When we talk about heaviness, this is the only album that has almost all of their heaviest songs.

    I actually think this is heavier than Train of Thought. Also, the guitar tone is MUCH heavier. It's also my favorite.

    The sheer intensity of 6:00, The Mirror, and Lie is awesome.
