I think the media has trained people in America to hate their own country. There are many people who have terrible eating habits, but its really for a variety of reasons, like junk food being more accessible, requires no preparation, often cheaper, and its intentionally loaded with addictive flavors and chemicals, so the consumer can't be totally to blame. It's the greedy junk food mass producers and advertisers that are the problem. There are plenty of very healthy eaters in America too though!
Isn't it obvious? I'm not saying all of us, but some people (I'm looking at you Stacey Irvine) eat WAY too much fast food. We gulp 32 oz. Diet Cokes and chow down a quarter pounder with a large fry. We think all fat is bad and never state the daily value of sugar on boxes. We act like it's healthy. Someone tried to make pizza a vegetable because of the tomato sauce. And eating fast food 159 times a year (no joke) is no big deal. When I grow up, I'm moving to Denmark or Switzerland or Italy or something.
And I somehow knew this would be number 1...
Why am I not surprised?
What? I was there for two weeks and I never once had dessert or anything of the sort. Plus, I'm pretty sure we have the lowest rates of obesity and sugar consumption.
