Whenever one of his compositions comes on the radio, it's instantly recognizable. A gorgeous melody combined with plenty of moving parts. Even though he is in the popular field, I consider him a composer, as he scored most of Pet Sounds, which is essentially a thirteen movement "pocket symphony".

I liked a lot your list MikeFuller. I vote for Bach because he is divine, I love his spirituality and the way he combines joy and sorrow in his music. He makes me feel complete. He has everything in his notes and he also goes beyond them in a very touching way.
