Well, let's see. The American and international media painted him as a buffoon and a farce. The American media made it a sacred mission to overtly torpedo his candidacy, 24/7, for 18 months. The intelligentsia guaranteed he'd never make it past the primary, let alone the general election. The establishment of his own party worked feverishly against him until the eleventh hour. The opposition party trashed him nonstop, and aided massively by the media, falsely accused him of racism, sexism, outright misogyny, "serial groping," being a "sexual predator," "homophobia," "Islamophobia," xenophobia, Naziism, being a Russian puppet, and probably causing the Black Plague AND the Great Flood.
And yet, he WON, with at least 60 million votes. Think all that qualifies as "one reason or another."

That he won with at least 60 millions votes proves only one thing. That a majority of Americans are stupid.
