Top 10 Most Overrated First Installments in Video Game Series

For me this is easily the worst out of the Classic Sonic games on the Sega Genesis. The Sonic games aren't entirely revolved around speed, obviously the elements like puzzles and platforming are important as well, but I come to Sonic to have the balance of both elements. In this game, the balance is immediately taken away upon entering Marble Zone, which is one of the slowest levels I've ever played. You'll feel the absence of the spin dash in this game upon making it to Marble Zone and every other zone afterward. The three-act structure also makes every single zone overstay their welcome with the exception of Green Hill, if only because everything after that is a snore.
Be honest, out of the first three Sonic games, I'm almost positive Sonic 1 would be the one that you'd play the least. A moment of silence to those who had to play the even slower PAL version.

People praise it as one of the best in the series, but a lot of better Zelda games have come out since!
