Top Ten Most Overrated Songs of the 1960s & the 1970s

I'm sure now some people will hate me because this list, but nevermind, i just tell my opinion.

The Top Ten

1 A Day in the Life - The Beatles

I'd never get what is this big worship for this song, I don't found nothing extra in this song, and they are way better Beatles songs... but nevermind, don't listen to me, maybe I'm just a troll because I told something wrong about the "best" Beatles songs, the Beatles, the fab four, the biggest musicians ever existed... if someone don't like them, then shut up! Ok no, I like lot of their songs, but this one really don't impressed me...

2 Whole Lotta Love - Led Zeppelin

Look, I disagree with most of these(expect this one), by I admire your ability to state your opinon, and not care about what others think of it - RecklessGreed

OK, maybe Stairway to Heaven is not a fully rip-off song, but this one is. The lyrics is a 90% copy of 2 songs:

Muddy Waters-You Need Love (1963)
Small Faces-You Need Loving (1966)

3 Life on Mars - David Bowie
4 War Pigs - Black Sabbath
5 Get It On - T. Rex

I simply can't understand how the hell this crap could lead the hit charts through weeks...

6 Sympathy for the Devil - The Rolling Stones

Great lyrics, but the instruments are terribly annoying.

7 Mr. Tambourine Man - Bob Dylan
8 Dancing Queen - Abba
9 Heroin - The Velvet Underground
10 (Don't Fear) the Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult

The most poppy song by a hard rock band, but this is their best known and best rated song.

"Poppy? " How bout mind-warping trash? Do you understand that the lyrics promote suicide?

The Contenders

11 Respect - Aretha Franklin
12 Be My Baby - The Ronettes

Don't know what you're hearing. The song is beautiful.

You know, overrated is not equals with bad. Overrated is equals with the song get too much credit, more than it would be deserve...

13 Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

So ridiculously overrated that its not funny.
