Reasons Why Japan is Better Than the United States
-
Friendlier People
Agree with everything except "better music". But yeah, I still agree Japan is better than United States. I'm partly Japanese to be honest.

Indeed, this one goes without saying.

Better Food
Although aside from the national cuisines, like burger and steak, I would say the cuisine in America can vary by regions (since there are regional cuisines). But when it comes to big company food, they tend to be prepared with synthetic chemicals and preservatives that can be bad for health. But even taking away that, as much as I love my burger, steak, pancakes, scrambled eggs (etc), Japanese cuisine such as ramen (one that is not instant, of course), soba, bento box dishes, chicken katsu, etc, is just to die for.

Less Crime
Yes indeed. There are a lot fewer incidents of gun violence (especially in schools) and homicides, and even the theft rate is very low given that people are willing to give back stuff that isn't theirs.
Yeah, Japan is super safe. My home country, the United States, is ridden with crime.

Better Public Transport
In most Japanese cities, such as Tokyo and the Osaka area, there are metros and JR trains that can take you pretty much everywhere, and they are clean and reliable. Of course, I should also point out their bullet train, the Shinkansen, which is heavily reliable and can pretty much take you anywhere in no time. Unfortunately, in the USA, where I live, most cities (especially in the south and in mid-sized cities) are built to cater more to cars, and there is only one or two bullet trains, such as the Acela Express and Brightline.

Yes, one of the biggest drawbacks of the USA is how the healthcare costs thousands of dollars, especially since it is run like a business. Healthcare in Japan is of high quality and is very affordable.
