Great location, gameplay, and characters. The setting was great on the west side of America in 1992, where hip-hop music was at its finest! Radio Los Santos was the best station, from Tupac to Dr. Dre. The story was very good too and was clearly the best Grand Theft Auto game out of them all.

Playing this on PlayStation was a way better feeling than on PC. Grand Theft Auto is just a game you play from the couch, lying down, relaxed, unless you're on some difficult mission. There were many great PS2 games and exclusives, and maybe even Pro Evolution Soccer 6 could hit the top of the list. This game is immortal.

The gameplay is better than Vice City because there is more to do, like flying a plane. Plus, you don't die if you accidentally hit the water. If you are looking for games to buy on your PS2, this is the one to get! Oh, did I mention that the world is absolutely huge? Buy this game if you have a PS2!

The moves, combos, and magical powers are just awesomely designed. The hero is given the ultimate capability of being a god. This was the game that started it all for me. I have a deep psychological connection to this game. I always told myself that Kingdom Hearts 1 and especially 2 was the height of my childhood. I waited years for KH3. I was always telling myself that my childhood would not end until Sora's story ended. Today, I am 24 years old and have finally played KH3; sadly, it was not anything compared to the all-around greatness that was Kingdom Hearts 2. Nonetheless, this series defined me in many ways as a child and its lessons continue to linger even as an adult.

I love this game. It is so creative. Kingdom Hearts is the combination of Final Fantasy and Disney characters. Explore new and familiar worlds featuring over 200 Disney characters or more. But you should also beware of Disney villains and their devious intentions. You can also team up with Disney heroes as you battle evil. My favorite game of all time, fantastic characters, legendary gameplay, beautiful graphics, breathtaking music, show-stealing voice work, complex and smooth story, and perfect controls add up to deserve the number one spot.

Simply one of the best games ever released on the PS2, two unlikely worlds combine to make a result that turns out to be absolute genius, but be warned, the game is extremely difficult at points but just as rewarding at others.

If I could name one game that shouldn't be out of that list, that is Shadow of the Colossus for sure! But I still think it should be higher on the list since it was (and still is) one of the few games that I can call pieces of art. This one, however, is a masterpiece since it has a unique design, and the imagination of the creators of the game has no end, especially the colossi are amazing!

Just to say, if you haven't tried it so far, you should. I still remember how much time I've spent playing this game again and again, and I've never regretted it!

This game and Silent Hill 2 are some of the games that make anyone slap themselves in the face for not taking video games for seriously. I love this game. It's challenging, it looks great, the world is huge, it's fun to play, and even though it may not have much of a story but even that is still memorable.

This game showed me that video games could be art as well. This game, based on visuals alone, should be top 5. Gameplay, story, controls, and the ability to ride Agro while shooting the bow were all mind-blowing at its time of release. You're doing yourself a disservice if you haven't sat down and played this game. This is a game even the casual gamer will play for hours on end.

Leon is an awesome character. Resident Evil has an awesome story and awesome graphics for the time. Maybe it's the game that changed the style of survival horror games, whether it's Resident Evil or not. Now, they always have the gameplay introduced in this game and faster enemies.

This is my all-time favorite game to play. When you get bored with the main game, switch over and play the Mercenaries in the Extras for hours, or Separate Ways with Ada. The slowness of the players' movements is the only frustrating part, but you get used to it after a while. Love it!

I loved this game the minute I started playing and still play it, 10 years after the release. I love the characters and the story, and most of all, the Sphere Grid! The only complaint I have is that there is a lot more grinding towards the end of the game, and the story plot should have continued with grinding interspersed. You suddenly finish the main plotline largely within 20 hours and suddenly need to grind for about 50-80 hours, or whatever... Also, the voice acting is about 1000% better in the Japanese version, trust me.

The story, the world, the characters - everything about this game is so awesome! And this is not a game that you finish in a day or two. You can put up to 500 hours of gameplay into this game! My all-time favorite game from the Final Fantasy series. The story was both amazingly epic and very sad. I liked the main character a lot and was surprised by the strange twist at the end of the story. I became so drawn into the romance of the story that I obsessed over it in Final Fantasy X-2.

Still my favorite Grand Theft Auto and one of the best games ever made in my opinion. The soundtrack changed my music interests in the long run, by the way.

One of the best, I don't know why some complained about the attitude of Jak. Remember that each duo features two protagonists with different attitudes. Sadly, due to the poor popularity of the franchise overshadowed by more popular games with little interest, the series doesn't have a sequel. But I think this is better than milking a franchise for years.

The Jak and Daxter series aged very well. The transition from the old world to a futuristic environment was a good idea. I'm glad they put a voice for Jak because a silent protagonist isn't enough to appeal. It gets old quickly. So, humor mixed with serious comments is definitely worth a try.

One of the greatest games in computer game history! The series is so thrilling and powerful that you have to think about it, even days after you've finished the game. I would place Jak 2 & 3 on the same level. The freedom you enjoy in this game is mostly like that of a Grand Theft Auto. The graphics were great back then, but even today I wouldn't change it because it fits the game. It is one of those games where you feel sad after you played through it.

Best PS2 game I've ever played. I'm still playing it. The difficulty makes it better because some missions are so hard that I actually rage. The storyline is perfect, and there's a lot of amazing stuff you can't do in the first game. This game is the first game in the trilogy where Jak actually speaks.

The best game ever. All of the Jaks are good (OK, tlf was a bit of a letdown) but Jak Renegade was far the best, and by far the best game ever, let alone PS2. But, the thing that makes this game, is NOT the crimson guards coming after you if you hurt them, is NOT the funny script and immense story, is NOT the hijacking vehicles and going insane with them- but the levels. The insane, damn fun levels, that gave you a challenge, yet a proper sense of epicness after you've done it. The fights, the simple jump and punch- just gives you that incredible feeling that no other game has been able to give yet. J&D is coming back february to ps3, with jak 1, 2 and 3 on one disc, with trophies and 3-D. YEES!

One of the most perfect Ratchet and Clank games ever. I have all PS2 games, 100% of the Ratchet and Clank series, but this one has so many cool weapons and secrets. I always try to find new glitches that could make the walkthrough so fun, faster, and maybe (at some points) harder.

Ratchet and Clank by far was the best game ever. I got the full collection and am still buying the games to this day. However, multiplayer elements ruined it after A Crack In Time. Here's hoping for Q-Force!

A good game needs the urge to play it three times or more. Get it cheap, and you'll be wishing you could play all the games of Ratchet and Clank.

I don't understand why it is so high. It is much better than some other games on the list. I mean number 11, it deserves to be in the top three. I mean, it has an awesome storyline, much better than some others. Addictive gameplay, you can't get enough of it. Awesome boss battles, such as The Sorrow and Revolver Ocelot. I voted for Resident Evil 4 and Grand Theft Auto, but now I must support this awesome game. MK Armageddon had some monotonous fatalities, but the whole gaming experience, Konquest mode, graphics, and arenas were cool. This is one of the best MK games.

Last good Mortal Kombat game... It was one of the only good ones. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, Mortal Kombat: Deception, and Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks were the others.

This game has everything that made the previous MK games great, and this one also lets you design your own character with it's own custom move list.

Great gameplay and an amazing storyline. If you haven't played this yet, play it. It will change your life. Just because there are Disney characters in it does not make it a game for just kids; it is so much more than that.

Disney and Final Fantasy... Who would have thought? All those people voting on Grand Theft Auto were probably thinking that this game is for little kids, but it's not! It really isn't. They should really try it!

I shouldn't have bought a pre-owned copy. The game stopped working multiple times during my few minutes of playing it. Then it stopped working and wouldn't function after I killed Darkside in the Awakening area. Eventually, I got its Final Mix on the PlayStation 3, and I loved it. I miss my saved data. - Gehenna

Fun game where you get to choose your class and play on all of the Star Wars planets. Also, you are able to play as Jedi and Sith.

Considered by some to be the first postmodern video game, Sons of Liberty takes everything gamers loved about the original MGS and flips that upside-down. You don't play as Snake; instead, you play as Raiden, a wimpy-looking character that reminds me of somebody I know... hmm, today's average gamer! The twists get a little crazy towards the end, but it is all worthwhile in this thought-provoking experience. Game mechanics are also the best out of the three MGS games.

Without a doubt, in the three greatest games of all time list, and also a gripping storyline, it deserves to be in the top two! Screw Resident Evil 5!

Gran Turismo 4 is the best driving-style game among all consoles, and by the time it arrived, it was almost a revolution in its group. Because although the console was PlayStation 2, it provided a whole lot more graphical support for the players.

This is really a driving simulator, with more than 700 cars added to this game, and I like the B-Spec. You can play for 24 hours endurance or switch it to B-Spec mode, and you must train your driver to drive consistently.

One of the greatest racing games in history, if you ask me.

I was angry to see both great metal gear games so low, but I am even angrier to see okami so low. The references to Japanese ghost stories, the cel-shaded graphics, the incredible soundtrack. This game might not have the best gameplay, and presentation, but it exceeds at everything else.

The only reason this game is so low on the leaderboards is because it is not very well know. If I had enough money I would buy the entire world this game. It is also the only video game with a sad enough ending to make me cry.

The second Dragon Ball fighting game I ever owned, the first being Dragon Ball GT Final Bout for the original PlayStation, I loved this game, but it also gave me a strong dislike for Cell and Cell Games' hardest difficulty. Jak 3 gives me a feeling of freedom in the middle of a big war where you just can race through the desert. You need to pay attention to the storyline because in this game, a lot of secrets get revealed.
