Top 10 Problems With the Modern TV Tropes

T.V. Tropes, a fun website to search but ever since it has been trying to become a professional wiki it has gone downhill with terrible attempts at making this website so. It has broken many rules that should have been followed when they came to help make this a professional wiki.
The Top Ten
1 Lack of Humor from the Old TV Tropes
2 Too Much Emphasis On Making Things Facts
3 Rejecting "Word of God" and "All There In the Manual" As a Disqualifying Trope for a "Complete Monster"
4 Having "Complete Monster" Forum Based Entirely On Voting
5 Taking Forever to Make Pages
6 Trying to Confirm Things As Facts Through Opinions

Nope, there is actually a YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary) page, tropes listed on that page are subjective so someone may agree with those tropes, others may not.

7 Not Confirming the Definition of "Canon"
8 Having Too Many Video Examples From Certain Works Such As My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic And Big City Greens
9 Being Biased Towards Certain Works Like Family Guy

Biased in what way? The show is good, get over it.

10 Failing to Make Tropes Objective by Making Them Even More Subjective
The Contenders
11 Having Examples for "So Bad Its Horrible" When the Site Said It Wasn't About Criticizing Work
12 Renaming Tropes Instead of Trying to Repair the Sub Pages
13 Occasionally Has Annoying Ads That Play Audio
14 Supporting Certain Groups Of People
15 No Real Life Examples, Please!
16 Supporting Bronies
17 Banning People for Stupid Reasons

My advice just stay under the radar, only make minor edits, add video examples for works that desperately need it (Like how I did with Rio as before I started adding those videos there where NO video examples of it at all) and don't fight with other users. That's what I do ever since I rejoined the site back in 2019 (Although occasionally I have had made bigger edits and even then I try to be extremely careful)

I had a TVtropes account years back, made a new trope for a page. The next time I logged in, I was completely disabled. I eventually FOUND OUT I WAS BLOCKED WITHOUT A WARNING. An idiot admin said that they blocked me because I tried to create a trope, which was against the rules. When I told them that I was new and didn't know the rules and that they should unblock me, THEY REFUSED AND HAD ME READ THEIR LONG SCROLL OF RULES and said that they will unblock me once I read the rules, I thought it was unnecessary, they began to argue with me. So, I just quit, if they're going to be unforgiving idiots for new users, then THEY SHOULD NOT BE ADMINS. They're more patient on Fandom than on TVtropes. Gosh, I can't believe how unforgiving they are!

18 Becoming a Politically Correct Site
19 Having My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic On Way Too Many Tropes
20 Believing That Jimmy Savile is Guilty

Obviously he is guilty.
Are you some 80s kid that always watched Jim Will Fix It?
Are you gonna say Rolph Harris is innocent because he is great at painting and made comedy songs.

21 Having A Political Bias
22 Having Moderators Who Blatantly Are Utterly Sadistic, Narcissistic and Sociopathic Monsters
23 Having Video Examples of Nostalgia Critic

Okay, now this is something I can get behind.

I hate the Nostalgia Critic.

24 Believing That Birds Are Dinosaurs
25 Believing That Global Warming Exists

It DOES exist, now shut the hell up.
