Best Punk Bands to Come From California During the Late 80s - Early 90s

To me this is when punk rock was starting to lose "it". Alot of the bands during this era sounded alot alike. Where bands from the late 70's and early 80's each brought something different to the table. For example, bands like Black Flag, Adolescents, T.S.O.L., Angry Samoans, Agent Orange, etc. all sound totally different from one another. Band during this era like Lagwagon, Strung Out, Pennywise and Guttermouth sound very similar. However I do like bands from this era. After all, these were my high school years and these were the bands that were playing alot of shows at the time.
